“We are new to the area so did not know anyone to ask for dog care, so I found Elliot totally organically via Rover and am glad I did. Elliot was awesome. We had him house/dog sit for us for close to a week and he was great. Very responsive and understanding when the dates of our trip got moved around. Also he was able to swing by and let the dogs out again when our flights got delayed. The dogs were happy and healthy when we got home and seem like they loved him. We will be asking (hoping) Elliot can dog sit for us again in the future.”

About: I’ve had over 50 years of caring for many breeds of dogs, including my own. I am respectful of others homes and can be trusted to give loving care to your dogs. I am a retiree that has a fairly open schedule and able to spend the night at your home. I may need to leave for an hour two at times for health appts. and going to our home to let our own dog out for a bit. I am flexible on how to care for your dogs in your home, including using a crate. I will respect your current ways of sharing your home with your dogs.

“Alison is amazing and I highly recommend her! She was my first sitter using Rover and the first dog sitter I’ve hired that I didn’t know. She took excellent care of my senior dog Jax (13 year old malamute mix with arthritis who is on multiple medications) and excellent care of my home! I was nervous about leaving him, but my nerves were instantly calmed when I met her for an introduction meeting before my trip. She sent multiple photos each day and her updates on how he was doing made me feel like she genuinely cared about him. I usually get some attitude from Jax for leaving him, but he was in such good spirits when I came home that I really think he enjoyed his time with her. The house was the least of my concerns, but she took excellent care of that as well! Don’t hesitate to book with her if she’s available! I would give her 100 stars if possible.”

About: I have had my own dogs for the past 9 years and they are always loved and taken care of. Never abused and lots of walks. I work 16/hours a week, so I will have plenty of time to take care of your pets anytime after 12pm. I’m also willing to work around your needs. I have a fenced in area and my dogs are always let out when they want and they love to cuddle so they get lots of cuddling.

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of animals since I was 10, including dogs, cats, parrots, chickens, and horses, and have some dog training experience. I just graduated from college, so I have a relatively free schedule as I transition, and would love to dedicate that time to animal care! I make sure I am very attentive when seeing what the pet needs, and I make sure to accommodate for whatever recommendations my clients would like to see being done. I also have a flexible schedule and can work around whatever is needed for them to remain happy and healthy.

She was friendly and kind and Piper warmed up to her very quickly when she came for the meet and greet prior to her stay here. About: I’m usually the first person my family calls when they need someone to care for their cutie pets while they’re away. As a grad student and pet owner myself, I understand the emotional support that animals can provide! Pets are family members and I understand what it takes to look after family. I send daily photo updates and report back any information requested. I have experience maintaining training schedules for puppies. I’m diligent at following care plans and requests. I want to reduce the amount of stress they might experience in the absence of their loving owner(s)! Keeping their routine as similar as possible is key. Meal times, walk times, crate/no crate, on/off furniture, treats, etc. are all things I try to attend to. I am open to specific requests your pet might need!

About: I love cats, dogs- pretty much all animals ! We've had dogs all throughout my childhood and I absolutely am in love with them. My husband and i adopted our first ever cat in 2020 and I’ve been in love with cats ever since. We even adopted a one eyed cat in 2022. I also have beagle and shih Tzu mix. I’ve had pets pretty much all my life and am very responsible. I work from home, so that means I’m pretty flexible through the week and with last minute notices. I always prefer some type of notice, as I do work full time. I am always happy to keep your fur babies company and give them the best care needed! I know they’re just like another family member.
