About: I have 6 dogs that are my kids. I am a stay at home dog mom. Your dog will be my dog while in my care. 5 are small and 1 medium sized. They are all fixed, UTD on shots and heartworm. I have 5 boys and a girl. All adopted from different states and shelters. They are between the ages of 10 and 12, and 1 senior who we believe is about 16. They are only crated at night and if I go out for an extended period of time, except Charlie, the old man, he is out 24/7. We live on a half acre, fully fenced back yard. We have a dog door, which is I usually open for periods when I'm home. They can get on the furniture if they want and I have dog beds throughout the house. My dogs typically get on very well with other dogs. I dog sit 2 dogs in my home a few times a year for a few days to a week at a time. 1 medium and 1 large. I have fostered various dogs for Big Fluffy Dog Rescue in the past and I have helped and run adoption events at Petco for about a year for Simpson County Animal Shelter/Friends of the Shelter in Franklin KY. I am a stay at home dog mom. I can pet sit any time of the day or week, for just a few hours, a day or overnights. I only leave the house to go to the store or run a few errands. Typically not out for extended periods. If I am dog sitting, I prefer to be at home as often as possible. I am always around my dogs. I have dog beds in all areas of the house. I keep an eye on them when they go outside. I play with them regularly. In case of emergency, the ER Vet is 10 minutes away, and my Vet is 10 minutes away. When I get a new foster dog, I usually will keep them leashed for a little while until they get acclimated and used to the other dogs. You, my customer are more than welcome to come into my house and yard and meet myself, and my dogs.

About: Current work schedule: Monday & Tuesday I am required in-office. Wed-Fri and flexible remote days where I can be home. Available for services with that in mind! Aside from growing up with small dogs all around, I have solo cared for my senior rescue for the last 6 years up until his passing of old age. I have experience with both puppy and senior dog care, and am very careful with any physical concerns such as arthritis. I have experience administering oral medication both through treats and syringing food. I will love to hang out with your baby whether it’s going on walks, playing, or just coexisting - I’ve done it all. The best feeling I have is knowing I’ve given my dog a life full of love and enrichment, and I’m happy to help as you do the same for yours. I also have owned a cat and cat sit for friends and am more than happy to drop in on them and show them some love! I am definitely also a huge cat lady. I am very patient and understanding that I am a visitor to your pet and I will respect their boundaries while they are under my care. In case of emergency, I already have Battleground (Royal Oaks), Bluepearl (Mallory) and Banfield (Carothers) info saved and have experience with all 3 vets in Franklin. I currently have a full time job, but am generally off by 3-4 and my nights and weekends are pretty open! Some days I work from home so I’m around the area. I currently live in a 1BR apartment, have a balcony but there are paths and a dog park even within my complex, so there’s no shortage of areas to walk! I always keep my babies on leash.

About: I’ve grown up in a dog family and have three fur babies myself. I love dogs more than most humans, and work from home, so I can easily provide a safe and fun space for your fur baby! I work from home, and have three small dogs who are already part of my routine. We look forward to adding yours to the mix! I have a fenced in yard, and three super friendly small dogs to keep them company. I love to play with them, take them on walks and can easily follow any instructions you have for your dog, as I know how important they are to you!

About: New to Rover as of June 2025 but not new to the pet care profession. I have over 11 years of hands-on experience caring for a wide range of pets, including my own animals and those I’ve fostered through rescue organizations. I’ve had cats and dogs my entire life but over the past 11 years I have volunteered at various animal shelters and provided the services offered on Rover through other platforms and websites! I have experience caring for cats and dogs of all ages—from newborns to seniors—and pets with medical conditions, special needs, and behavioral challenges. I also have experience with birds, rabbits, and some reptiles. My family owns a farm so I have experience providing care for farm animals as well! What sets me apart is my ability to quickly assess and adapt to each pet’s unique personality and requirements. I’m especially patient and attentive with nervous or reactive animals, and I’m experienced in administering medications, maintaining structured routines, and creating calm, secure environments for animals in transition. Fostering has also given me valuable experience with socialization, basic training, post-surgery care, and working with pets recovering from trauma or neglect. I’m a Nashville native and the oldest of four kids in my family. I’m a bit of an extroverted introvert—I enjoy my alone time and being home as much as possible but I could talk to just about anyone about anything. I have a kitten and an adult kitty that live with me full time full time, and a senior (family) dog that lives with me a few months out of the year (my parents snowbird in FL). I currently don’t have any commitments until the end of August! So I accept bookings any time or day unless I have appointments or another commitment. This is my only job, and I’m currently on a break from school (I am usually in school during the week). STARTING AUGUST 22nd: I am in school starting 8/22/2025 from Tuesday-Friday 9am-2pm. But can do drop ins and walks during my lunch break from 11:30-12:30. When caring for pets, safety is always my top priority. I carefully follow all instructions from the owner, including dietary needs, medications, walking preferences, and any behavioral considerations. I make sure the home environment is pet-proofed—keeping hazards like wires, cleaning products, and choking risks out of reach. I also monitor pets closely for any signs of distress, illness, or unusual behavior and will notify the owner immediately if anything seems off. Building trust with both the pet and their owner is equally important. I take time to get to know each animal’s temperament, routines, and comfort zones so they feel safe and secure in my presence. Whether in my home or theirs, I maintain a calm, structured environment, offer plenty of positive attention, and create a consistent routine that pets can rely on. For in-home services, I’m respectful of the client’s space—leaving things clean and secure, and keeping communication open with daily updates, photos, and check-ins so the owner feels confident their pet is in good hands.

About: I’m a mom and teacher and would love to care for your fur babies. Lifelong pet owner familiar with all breeds of dogs. Large fenced in yard and we offer plenty of outdoor play time and exercise. Pet friendly furniture and our dogs have access to all rooms of the house. I teach during the day but am home all evenings and weekends. Crate available if needed. Home every evening and weekends. I am only away during school hours. I have lots of flexibility and am willing to work with most schedules. I have a fenced yard and one friendly dog here at home. I can crate your pup or if they are used to sleeping in your bed we allow that too!

About: I live out on a 90 acre farm. I dog sit for friends, family etc. I love animals so much and take the best care of them like they’re my own . Plenty of references if you need them . Your fur baby will love playing around in the fenced in yard, going on walks or whatever else you need me to do . I am available to watch your pet and take them out for play time and potty breaks as much as you need me too . Just let me know ! I have a fenced in yard out in the country and can take care of your fur baby however you need ! I’m available to also do pick ups and drop offs if you need them.

About: Hello there Rover family! I’m an extremely active Airforce veteran who has decided to open my home to your beautiful furbabies. I’ve had several years of experience taking care of a variety of breeds and species. I also am active in the dog community and show my own Dobermans! They’re extremely sweet and good natured. I am currently working from home, so there is plenty of time throughout the day for me to spend with your fur babies and keep them company! We have a large amount of acreage for your sweet pets to romp around on! In the event of rain or inclement weather, I have a variety of brain teasers/mental stimulation games to keep your fur babies occupied and happy!

About: I've had dogs all my life, but grew up loving animals of all kinds. I have previously done pet check-ins and dog walks on Rover. I did not do in-house sitting, in order to keep my house my senior dog's safe space. But I lost my best friend after 17 1/2 years, and am missing the friendship and companionship in my home. I would like to slowly open my home to new furry dog friends. I am familiar with senior dog issues and giving medications in pill and powder form, however, I don't have experience with injections, so I would not be the best fit if your pet requires those. I work at home full time during the week 7:00-4:00. Although I am home during the day and mostly available, I do have meetings throughout the day and can get pulled into conference calls, so I am not always instantly available and will need a little notice to book or cancel so that I can make sure I see your message and have availability when you drop off/pick up. I am open on how to best care for your pet based on your needs. I know from having a senior dog they all have their little quirks that make each one different. Do they have special food or special needs? Please let me know and I'll do my best to accommodate them. I just lost my best fur friend after 17 1/2 years, so I am looking for other fur friends to love on. I work full time from home, and am mostly available when not in meetings/calls. I would like to meet/call pet parents before their pet's first booking and get as much information and instruction as possible. I want to make sure that the pet parent's expectations are met.
