About: I have dog-sat for a variety of dogs and demeanors, from small untrained puppies, to older dogs on doggy-hospice. I consider my dogs part of my family and love getting to interact with and care for other dogs as well, knowing how importance they are. Outside of dog sitting, I also worked at a vet clinic for a couple of years helping to care for dogs after hours by letting them out, playing with them, giving them their medication and feeding them as well. I work from home full-time with plenty of opportunities for pet care and interaction. In my work-from-home office I have a comfy couch and dog bed that pets are welcome to sit on or sit with me as they please. I have a variety of door gates if my dogs need to be separated from dogs I am sitting for any reason. I have two levels in my home with dog food and water dishes available on both levels and exits to the fenced in yard (partial cement and partial grass) on both levels. I have the ability to gate each area of my home if needed to keep my dogs separate depending on the needs of dogs I am sitting. I like to snuggle and play with dogs and can let them out frequently. Sleep: We have extra dog crates if your dog prefers to be crated at bedtime like our dogs do, but they are also welcome to sleep on any of our couches or environment Stairs: While my home has stairs in and out, my lower level does allow for entry from the driveway and to the fenced in backyard without stairs - please let me know if your pet needs hip precautions and I am happy to accommodate! Pool and River: Our fenced in backyard does have an inground pool, we always supervise until we know how dogs interact with the pool. We live on a river but it is not accessible within the fenced in portion of the yard.

“Cody was a huge help while we were visiting the area. We needed help with Walter for an event that we had and Cody was quick to respond and easy to communicate with. If we were in the area we would use Cody again for sure.”

“I am thrilled to share my outstanding experience with Makayla's Dog Day Care! Makayla's dedication and genuine love for dogs truly shine through in every aspect of her service. Makayla ensured that my pup has a stimulating and enjoyable day. She provided a variety of activities, from interactive toys to confidence training. My dog came home happy and well-exercised, having had a day full of fun and engagement. Overall, I couldn't be happier with the care and attention my dog received at Makayla. Makayla's exceptional service has made a world of difference, and I highly recommend her to any pet owner looking for a day care provider.”

“Quinn ran in the door heading straight for the toys Yulia had prepared. He enjoyed himself, went right to sleep as soon as we got home. We will definitely check if Yulia is available if we need day care in Michigan again.”

About: Hi! I’m Kayla! I have been doing dog sitting/drop ins for about 2.5 years now. I have 2 dogs, 4 cats and chickens. I’m a stay at home mom, so my availability is very open. I am here to help with vacations, quick stops, a good afternoon walk, a potty break or some food and/or medication. I look forward to meeting you and your furbaby and giving you the best care possible 🤗 Pet care fits into my daily routine perfectly bc I am able to stop and take care of your furbaby in between times I have mom duty. It lets my days be flexible for last minute changes. We have an acre of land. We are in the process of building a fence, so right now we use leads to let the dogs explore and have some fun.

“Sarah was great. She sent tons of updates and videos of my puppy and he had a great time. She also has tons of space for your dog to run around in her backyard will definitely book with her again.”

“Brianna has watched my puppy a few times and naturally, as puppies can be, she was pretty hyper and crazy, but Brianna did such a great job with her and my puppy was so happy when I went to pick her up! She’s very kind and I’ll definitely be using her again?”

About: I have loved and cared for animals all my life and would welcome the opportunity to give love and attention to your fur baby or babies! I am passionate about all animals but most especially dogs. I have a fenced yard, they’re allowed on my furniture and to sleep on my bed. I’m in a quiet residential neighborhood near the river and nature area we walk to. I only take a max of two dogs in addition to my own 13 year old Shih Tzu. He is very patient and accepting of all the dogs who come to visit. I’m retired so the dogs have near constant supervision and I monitor their behavior with each other. I have a separate quiet area if I think someone needs their space. If you choose me we’ll set up a meet and greet first to make sure it’s a good fit for all. Thank you for your consideration! I tend to schedule my routine around my own pets’ needs and daily care. When I’ve committed to caring for someone else’s pet, whether drop-ins or in my home, my personal schedule gets altered so I can focus on their care. Caring for pets is personalized to meet their individual needs based on clients’ instructions. There is a lot of intuitive care as well, recognizing changes in behavior or signs a pet needs something additional, to go out again, more affection or reassurance. I also make sure things are neat and tidy in a client’s home, sweeping cat litter for instance.

About: I have had a house full of animals since I was a child. We’ve had several different breeds and sizes of dogs and cats. Not only have I had my own animals, I often look after my friends and neighbors animals for extended stays and as needed. I love all animals and believe animals make the best family members. I work from home and have lots of breaks through the day to go on walks or have play time. I am available for boarding all week and check ins or walks after 6 ET M-F. I do not currently have any pets in my home so no need to worry about pets who don’t like other animals. I have a walking trail nearby that is perfect for stretching their legs and exercising. I do not typically crate animals but if you provide a crate for your animal, I would be happy to oblige. It’s important to keep as much structure as possible in new environments and I am willing to do whatever it takes to make the pet as comfortable as possible.

About: I've been raised around all ages of puppies/dogs, use to work at a dog daycare for a few years, took behavior classes, and did nail trimming. Also have done walking at the daycare and also with my own dogs. I have spaces in my day where I will be able to take care of your furry babies for you while you have to work/trip I do grooming for my dogs and kitten, walk/play with my dogs every day. At night I make sure to give each one alone time with me before bed so they don't get jealous of eachother

Emily B.
“Emily is a responsible and loving animal caregiver. She had experience caring for various pets growing up. She also worked part time at a local vet clinic in high school. Emily especially loves dogs and has two of her own. Her husband and kids also love dogs and welcome and enjoy furry friends. She watched my dog Pepper for two weeks when I was recovering from surgery and was unable to walk him, prepare his food and pill pockets, or clean up after him. He's 15 and in doggie hospice since he has a 4-inch tumor on his liver. He eats 4 times a day and his food includes canned chicken which takes time to prepare. He also has arthritis and can’t bound up the stairs like when he was young. If he tried to go upstairs, she would pick him up and carry him so he wouldn’t struggle and fall. I have lots of pictures of her holding and cuddling him. He clearly loved her and felt loved by her. We used a reputable kennel for a few years when we needed to leave Pepper. Each dog had a large kennel and their own run. If they sat by the door to their run, someone could open the door from the office. The daily rate included feeding, going out and limited interaction with teenagers. To have extra cuddle time and extra play time, there was an additional fee for that extra time. It was worth paying for it, knowing he would miss the human interaction he had at home. At Emily's because he was out and about, instead of being confined, interaction with humans was frequently available. I know our Pepper was happier in a setting that was more like home instead of being in a kennel.”
