About: I am an animal science student with a concentration in animal behavior and wellbeing. In the agricultural community, I raised and showed an award winning rabbit. Last semester, I was an animal care intern at Columbian Park Zoo. I have nearly a decade experience working in pet care. In addition, my family fosters animals. I am seeking employment in pet care to fill my spare time with a furry companion. I have a flexible schedule in the morning and evening during the week. I am available Thursday-Sunday for weekend stays. When I was in third grade, my family opened our home to foster animals. I am self employed with a flexible schedule. My schedule varies each day but I can adjust my work as needed for each day. About: From a far back as I can remember, animals have been a big part of my life. I come from a long line of animal lovers so growing up I had experiences with many animals even exotic animals. I’ve learned hands on care experience as my sister is a huge animal lover and has taught me many skills regarding animal care, I’ve raised and cared for dogs and cats from the moment they were born to their elder years, animals are and will always be my top priority and I’ll always give any animal the best care they can receive. I myself am a cat and dog mother, my dog is a beautiful Chinese crested so I’m also experience with high maintenance pets as well and even animals with disabilities or behavior issues. Just know that when your pet is in my care, I will do anything and everything needed to protect, care, and comfort in order to give them the best possible sitting experience! In my school apartment we have a cat and my dog, so pet care is a daily for me! No matter how hectic a day is pet care is always my priority! Pets are family and I will always ensure the best care is given to any animal I’m around always! I have a very high energy small dog with many high maintenance needs and sometimes a sassy attitude, I am a patient caregiver and will work through any situation with patience, love, and compassion! About: I have two senior dogs, one recently adopted and the other I've had since he was a puppy. I'm well-versed in dispensing medication and being attentive to the needs of all dogs. I've been around dogs for 30+ years and tend to gravitate towards them, and them to me. I'm off work Friday Saturday and Sunday so I'd be a great resource for those weekend getaways. I work 10 hour days, Monday through Thursday so those days are a little trickier but I do have the chance to stop home halfway through the day I am open to pets staying in my home and check ins/walks. My two senior dogs are very adaptable and accepting of other dogs. I have a fenced in back yard, a big comfy couch, 3 water sources and an enclosure to separate during eating time, if needed. They are on a 6a/6p breakfast/dinner/medication schedule. For check ins and walks, unless there is a fenced in yard the pet will be on a leash at all times. I'll take on walks, dog parks, hikes, whatever the need is.

About: I took care of my dog during his last days and since 2021 have been house/dog sitting for friends of friends to help them out. I have 1 dog named maisey, she is a lab/pitbull mix! I also volunteer a lot to dog walk at shelters! I currently am a tech in the ICU so I only work 2 12 hour shifts a week, I usually try to schedule around that. I am in nursing school but with summer coming up, I will be free! I will be at the house majority of the time and I usually try to get them to like me and not be nervous by giving them treats!
