About: I love all kinds of animals! I have a pointer/lab mix and mini dauschund of my own, and they are my tag alongs for all sorts of adventures! I also had a variety of frogs, lizards, hamsters, guinea pigs when I was growing up. Most notably, my bearded dragon Cricket who lived to be 16 years old! Additionally, I have experience pet-sitting and dog walking for family members as well as friends and neighbors. I have helped friends with their chickens and other farm animals as well! I live a very active lifestyle and love hiking and swimming, both alone as well as with four-legged friends. I am currently running a small bagel business 2-3 days a week. Outside of a select couple of mornings, my availability is fairly open and flexible! I have a lot of experience with energetic dogs and bring a calm energy to my interactions with them. I respect animals personal space and allow them to approach me when they are comfortable. Most dogs i have met are very comfortable with me because of body language!

About: I have had about 16 years of experience with pets. I absolutely love animals! I feel an incredible connection with “fur babies.” I feel that animals have an innate sense of what humans feel and understand. I will care for your “fur baby” as if he or she were my own. I will also, communicate and send messages, pictures, videos and to inform you of how your “fur baby” is doing. I do work a full-time job during the week. However, I am available full-time on weekends. I can begin to watch your “baby” at 5:pm or 6:30 pm during the week. During the week I can drop in twice a day. I am also able to watch your pet at night during the week. I can take care of your “fur baby” in their own home, which helps with security and comfort. The priority of your pet is my main focus.

“It was our first time with Sara and she was with Belle for 5 days. Sara was wonderful with Belle in every way giving so much focused attention and activities and particularly providing comfort through a thunderstorm. Sara gave twice daily updates and photos in addition to being highly responsive to contact in the interim periods. In addition, she was very flexible when it came to a couple of schedule changes we had in advance of our trip and also on the day of our return. She also picked up our CSA share, put it away for us, dealt with the comings and goings of some unanticipated work being done in our house in our absence. She left the house immaculate and welcoming for our return. We are thrilled to have found Sara so close by and plan on more opportunities for her to care for Belle.”

About: I love dogs! have been dog mama to 3 labs and a little 6 pound rescue guy - currently can’t have my own so would love to fill my heart with your furry pal when you’re away. I’m very active so enjoy walking / hiking / running with a dog. I work very part time - remote- so my schedule is super flexible. I am a retired professional with a desire to cater to animals who are accustomed to getting individual attention year round and expect their custom treatment, cuddles, and meals to be routinely available even when the rest of their service humans are not. I have a have a senior golden retriever who is slowing down at 12.5 and we are simply more active than he currently requires. I enjoy getting to spend all day with animals and am opening up our special place to our furry local friends. Rest assured that I will care for your animal family beyond how anyone would care for a human family member. I also understand that the pet's safety and security are paramount to the quality of the experience for both the pet and their family. Also, belly rubs on demand.

About: I’ve been dog walking, pet sitting and doing home check ins for friends family and coworkers since I was 10. Love getting out in nature on long walks or checking in on your pets if you have to be away all day! My 3-4 day work week allows me free time on Monday- Wednesdays for walks and check ins. I’m available most mornings! Occasionally available for house sitting or boarding. I have a large, tidy house where your dogs will be able to roam worry free. I live on a quiet street surrounded by woods and a park nearby, perfect for long walks and lots of trees to sniff without having to worry about street traffic.

About: I am and always have been an avid pet lover, so I will treat your baby with the love he/she deserves. I’m skilled in bathing dogs if that’s ever needed. I’m also very good with puppies, and relatively good with senior pets and giving them the love they need. I work part-time at Wendy’s on Division at varying times, so we will have to discuss when I can walk if you live in Traverse City. I will always be able to sit though. I’m respectful of the surroundings of the animal, and I will make sure they are comfortable around me, as well as the human that loves them.
