About: I have had pets all my life, I have house, pet and plant sat for 18 years now. I have a lot of experience with senior dogs and cats. Medications are no problem. I enjoy walks just as much as the dogs! I typically travel through a house and pet sitting site. I love it so much I thought I would make it my job! My schedule is flexible. I care for pets in their own homes. Rover insists you start out boarding in the sitters home but I do not offer this service. I pet sit in the clients home only. Thanks :)

About: I have a 6-year-old Great Pyrenees named Nala, a sweet and loyal guard dog, so I have experience and comfort interacting with all sizes, big and small. I also have two boy cats, Widget and Panko, whom I adopted 8 years ago. I love animals! Over the years, my friends and family have entrusted me with the care of their pets (and home) whenever they're out of town. I work in the field of film, which is typically 3-4 projects a month, so I have pretty open availability for pet care in the days between. I like to ensure that both pets and pet parents feel taken care of, whatever is needed to feel comfort and trust and not have to worry about anything. Beyond the essential needs, I like to go above and beyond by including whatever unique interactions, games, treats, routines, training needs, or other fun things the pet(s) are engaging with at that time.

“Leanne is an extremely conscientious pet sitter. She spent extra time with our dogs to ensure they were comfortable with her prior to us going out of town, and was extremely communicative the entire time we were away. We will definitely trust our dogs in her care in the future and are so glad we found her on the Rover app!”

About: I love all kinds of animals! I have a pointer/lab mix and mini dauschund of my own, and they are my tag alongs for all sorts of adventures! I also had a variety of frogs, lizards, hamsters, guinea pigs when I was growing up. Most notably, my bearded dragon Cricket who lived to be 16 years old! Additionally, I have experience pet-sitting and dog walking for family members as well as friends and neighbors. I have helped friends with their chickens and other farm animals as well! I live a very active lifestyle and love hiking and swimming, both alone as well as with four-legged friends. I am currently running a small bagel business 2-3 days a week. Outside of a select couple of mornings, my availability is fairly open and flexible! I have a lot of experience with energetic dogs and bring a calm energy to my interactions with them. I respect animals personal space and allow them to approach me when they are comfortable. Most dogs i have met are very comfortable with me because of body language!

About: I have had dogs and cats my whole life and am hoping to work with people to care for their animals. I love all cats and dogs, big and small. I have experience with large dog breeds and special needs cats ie. Diabetic and special foods. Trusting your pet sitter can ease so many worries while you you’re not able to be with your animal. I will provide not only pet care but love and cuddles!! I work in Traverse City during the day and would be able to stay in your home to manage your pet’s care to maximize their comfort at home. My work days vary however, on days that I work I can provide morning and evening care. On my off days I can be available all day. Whether you have a list of instructions or a loose schedule for your animal/s I hope to work with you to help your time away go as smoothly as possible. I have a cat of my own and know how nice it is to get updates and photos so I am happy to do that!

“Ashley was an amazing sitter for us! After every visit we received updates, videos and photos of our kitty. We felt like she loved our kitty as if she was her own ❤️. We would not hesitate to have Ashley as a cat sitter again!”

About: My affection for animals dates back to my childhood, where a loyal German shepherd was my constant companion. Moreover, my commitment extends beyond personal connections. Over the last year, I have dedicated time to walk and socialize shelter dogs at the Cherryland Humane Society. This experience has not only deepened my understanding of canine behavior but also allowed me to contribute to the well-being of dogs in need. The bonds formed during these interactions have left a lasting impact, reinforcing my passion for the welfare of our four-legged friends. I also currently take care of my roommates cat frequently to provide tender care to our furry friend. I currently work another job, therefore I am available on Monday- Thursday from 8am-9am & 6:30pm-9pm & Saturday & Sunday all day. Starting in June I will be available after 5pm on the weekdays as well! I take note to accommodate your pets individual needs by following detailed instructions and preferences to provide the highest level of quality care for your beloved pet.

About: I love animals! I took care of my own pets & those of friends and family before I began to professionally dog-sit in 2008. I do occasional cat care as well, which I began in 2007. I live with my partner, Michael & our dog, Kyro, at the top of Old Mission Peninsula. I work part-time to full-time in any given week, so I have a ton of variety with my schedule. This gives me the time to stop in & check on your doggies, care for them, play, sometimes go to the dogpark or other destination :) I provide pet care in the client's home via drop-ins. I also provide boarding for dogs and cats, and occasionally house-sit. I have oral med experience for both cats and dogs, though I have not given any medications intravenously yet. However, I'm open to being trained on how you administer the intravenous meds needed for your pet's proper medical care.

About: I have been a dog and cat owner/lover my whole life! I currently have 2 dogs (big and little) and they are my world!! I will take great care of your dog/cat and treat them with the most care and love anyone could ask for!! Whether I am walking your dog for an hour or spending the night with your dog/cat, they will be taken care of like they never have before. I specialize in getting dogs the right amount of exercise in a day. It is very important to keep them healthy and happy. I have dog and cat sat ever since I was young and have always been recommended by the owners to their friends/family. I sincerely love animals so much and love making them happy! I work 30 - 34 hours a week and can easily add this type of service to my routine. I think being in this smaller town makes it easy to get around :) I care for them with love and kindness. My goal is to make sure my client’s pet happy while they are away & I believe I do that and more.

James C.
“This is the sitter you've been looking for full stop. When looking for someone to watch your precious pets, and likely be in your space, you need someone you fully trust. You want someone who is willing to go above and beyond if the need should arise. Fortunately for myself (and YOU), that person is James! James has cared for my 3 cats and German Shepherd dog multiple times. Those periods have been a short as a weekend, and as long as 2 weeks. Every time, not only are the pets happy as can be, but we received updates throughout and he took care to ensure no blemish was left on our house. James is incredibly responsible, a pet owner/lover himself, and has my full trust when taking care of my family. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a top-notch pet sitter.”

“I’ve had the pleasure of having Tamara watch over my dog, Bo, for several years, and I can’t speak highly enough of her. Over this time, she formed a special bond with him, taking him on regular walks, treating him to delicious goodies from a local dog bakery, and sharing countless other fun adventures. What stands out most about Tamara is her genuine care and attentiveness to Bo’s comfort and well-being. She always ensured he felt relaxed and happy, and Bo was always so excited to see her!
