“I could rave about how absolutely amazing Samantha was with my Khaleesi for hours, but I’ll keep it short for reading purposes. My dog Khaleesi is a high anxiety dog and does not do well with strangers and typically hides from them. Samantha had her during the day for 3 days, and from day 1 Khaleesi took right to her. It did take some warming up time, but Samantha kept me very updated and sent pictures throughout the day. By the end of the 3 days, Khaleesi was walking into Samantha’s house without hesitation and didn’t even turn around to look at me. Samantha is incredible and I highly recommend her!!!!”

“We love bringing Winston here. He always has a great time and it has really helped him socialize as a young puppy. This is the third time we’ve brought him here and will continue to do so!”

“Mary is very accommodating and has been extremely flexible with me for my daycare needs for my special needs 1 year old beagle. She is communicative and makes me feel very comfortable while my dog is in her care. She is timely for drop off and pick up accommodations which makes things go smoothly.”

“Elisabeth was great with my Goldendoodle. We were racing at the dragstrip, had our dog with us &wanted to go have some fun on Fremont street. Elisabeth met us & dog sitted for us. Dixie felt very comfortable going with her & was happy when we met to pick her up! I would definitely have her watch our girl again! Highly recommend!”

“My pup had a great time! We barely got out of Timerra's neighborhood and my pup was asleep. Timerra was very patient, thoughtful, and accommodating with my 1yr old, who is very much still a puppy. She updated me and sent photos. I highly recommend Timerra!”

About: I was new to the pet ownership when I got my boys in 2019. I conducted thorough research since I was in need of an emotional support animal. In my quest, I found the perfect fur baby for me, the Biewer terrier. I started with one, however since my Denni suffered with anxiety and separation issues I felt it prudent to get him a companion. Two months later we welcomed Davis into the family and have never been happier. I relocated to Virginia at the start of the pandemic in 2020. One year later I suffered a health crisis which made it difficult for me to fully care for my boys. It took another two years before I made the difficult decision to rehouse them. Fortunately, I was able to turn them over to the loving care of my dentist. Since she brings them to work with her, I can still stop by to say hello and spend some time with them. Over time, my health improved, I was introduced to dog care and the rest is, as they say, history. I have found my passion. With a heart full of love for fur babies of all shapes, sizes and temperments, I'd be honored to care for your beloved fur babies in my home or yours. My time is my own. I am retired and home all day. I am flexible and willing to adjust my schedule to fit yours. I even offer pick-up/drop-off services when needed to lessen the burden on you. Let's work together to make things easiest for you. I live in a townhouse with stairs on the inside of the apartment. This allows the dogs to get plenty of exercise, as needed. I also have a balcony so your pets can be outdoors all day, if they so desire. I took care of a Greyhound who was very sweet but quiet. He would sit out on the balcony all day and never barked once. I can also take puppies in need of training. I trained my boys myself with the help of Cesar Millan and Brian McMillan (lol). I am also considering getting formal training. In the meantime, I seek knowledge from books and subscribe to several YouTube channels specifically geared towards dog training. I have potty pads, toys and treats in my home, as well as other items I use for training purposes. Recently, I did drop-in visits for two medium-sized dogs. One, a senior dog, the other a 5 month old Border Collie full of energy. I let them out in the backyard for 30 minutes. I made sure they had fresh water and then crated the Collie until the owner returned home.

“We had a great experience with Shawna! She took great care of our dog while we visited Busch Gardens for the day. We were provided videos and pics of her short stay, which was great!”

“Christene has been absolutely amazing with our dog, Pugston. Communication is 100 across the board, with such a flexible, and easy drop off and pick up. She communicates with us throughout the day, including photos of our fur baby. Whenever we need someone to book, Christene is our go to. You won’t be disappointed!”

“We had a great experience with Qasheedra. From the moment we met, she and her family were warm, professional, and clearly experienced with dogs. She took the time to understand my dogs’ needs and routine, which really put me at ease. My dog came back happy, relaxed, and well cared for — I couldn’t ask for more. I’ll definitely be booking again. Highly recommend!”

I have lived with and cared for both cats and dogs my whole life, from young ones to seniors, as well as sick pets who need medical attention. I am skilled at giving oral medication and shots. I also volunteer at my local no-kill shelter and handle cats of all sizes. My husband and I live with our small introverted tripod dog and 2 cats in a house with a fenced-in backyard. Our neighborhood is quiet and safe with sidewalks. Our home is a relaxing space for senior, mellow, and/or introverted dogs - if your dog enjoys cuddling on the couch or slow strolls around a quiet neighborhood, then we have the perfect home! I also offer the following services separately: - Dog baths (shampoo + conditioner; $15/bath) - Cat nail trimming ($10/session) Please feel free to reach out with any questions. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family member! I work from home with a generally flexible schedule. I'm also able to take frequent breaks to let dogs outside in our fenced-in backyard with a 6-foot fence. After work, we will go for a walk around the neighborhood. I'm the primary caretaker but my husband helps when he is home. Boarding: I have a small, introverted tripod and 2 cats. As such, I will only board mellow, senior, and/or introverted dogs who are good with cats. My cats will not bother your baby as long as they don't bother the cats. Drop-ins: I understand every pet has its own personality and will respect their needs! I'm happy to play with your energetic companion or leave your shy loved one alone and let them come to me. No matter what, I am always attentive to their body language.
