About: Growing up I had small dogs (dachshunds), currently I have two big pups. Copper, our German shepherd is somewhat reactive/anxious/strong dog, so I have experience with that personality. But I also have experience with the hyper/still learning not to jump/wants to kiss everyone golden retriever. I truly love all dog breeds. I work and live in Pella. I typically go into work at 8am and my hour lunch break is flexible, and then I am off at 4:30pm. I usually spend 25ish mins on my lunch break letting my own pups out and tending to their needs, so I would be available to care for your pet before or after that if I am needed in the afternoon. Our cat is an indoor kitty that roams around as he wishes. We have a fenced in backyard for our dogs and I also take them for a walk every evening. They get fed in the morning and after work (and of course treats). We groom them ourselves. They are always on schedule for every routine vet visit and we get their teeth cleaned. Brush them routinely as well.

About: I grew up with animals and as an adult i have had cats and dogs my whole life. I have also enjoyed caring for friends and family pets when needed. I have volunteered at the ARL and received some training. I have an open schedule with lots of flexibility that allows for plenty of time to take care of or hang out with my furrbabies. I prefer to keep dogs leashed when a fence is not available. My cat stays indoors. I treat my pets as my children. For outdoor cats, it depends on the owner. I have seen GPS used to keep track of their location outside.

Your pets' needs are provided for at all times whether they are here for a day, week or month as they are included in our family activities. Pets are kept separated or allowed to play together depending on their needs. I provide crates, mats, kennels and even my bed for peaceful sleeping.
