About: I have a genuine connection to animals and care deeply for them. In my own home I care for a senior dog and two bunnies. I always give my animals my first and my best. My schedule is flexible as I prepare for graduate school. My goal is to make some connections with families that need additional pet care that I can work my schedule around to accommodate theirs. Sam went above and beyond, even rearranging his work schedule to make sure our dogs were well looked after. He maintained their regimented routine, preparing their unique meals twice a day and taking them out for potty breaks and exercise an additional 3-4 times per day. His conscientiousness really showed in everything he did. Sam stayed overnight in our home, ensuring our dogs felt safe, secure, and comfortable in our absence. About: I have always had pets, specifically indoor dogs and cats. I also have 2 years experience as a kennel tech at a boarding/grooming facility where I worked with dogs of all sizes, cats, reptiles, rabbits and other small mammals. I am comfortable with any size dog and most temperaments. Each dog deserves care and attention, I am well aware that certain breeds have more difficult personality traits (and for good reason, too!) so just let me know what your dog needs and I will accommodate. Regarding dog walks: I am not currently booking for dog walks due to a torn ligament in my ankle. I am still capable of drop ins, boarding, etc. as I am healing, but walks are on hiatus for a few weeks! I am stable/sturdy - just in a boot. I work full time but am available after 5pm on weekdays. I do have a flexible schedule so if you need something, I may be able to accommodate if I can work from home! I have open availability on the weekends. As someone with kennel tech experience, I am very comfortable crating dogs and taking them for walks, playing as much as they want, and adjusting to their specific needs. I also have experience administering medication, both oral and injections.
