“Sue was extremely kind and welcoming to our dog, and took great care of him! She was quite sweet to both us and our furry friend, and we would definitely use her again in the future for watching him. 10 out of 10, highly recommend!”

“Sophie loved visiting Lark’s house! She and her daughter were so welcoming, and they treated Sophie like their own. Lark was very attentive to Sophie’s quirks and she kept me updated during her stay. I really appreciate how well she took care of my pup.”

“Christina is amazing! From start to finish, she went above and beyond caring for Boss and Chipper. She was wonderful with communication, sending regular updates and photos that made me feel completely at ease while I was away. She even stepped in to help at the last minute, which was such a relief. I could tell she genuinely loves dogs—both Boss and Chipper were happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for the entire time. I felt so relieved knowing they were in such capable hands. I can’t recommend Christina highly enough and will definitely be booking her again!”

“Pam was perfect with my little old man, Dexter. He's 18 years old so he requires special attention and she was able to provide everything he needed, plus extra love! I will definitely be using Pam again.”

“We were nervous as we don’t leave our doggies often but Alyssia made the process so seamless. She sent several videos/pics and messages when we were away and we came home to well taken safe is pups. We will definitely use Alyssia again!”

About: Ive had dogs my whole life and have been the primary caregiver to my queen Schnauzer Millie since she was born- she’s now 8! I’ve trained 3 puppies and have loved it every time. I was raised in a big dog family- we have three dogs at my mom’s house my sister and brother bring their 3 dogs over at least once a week. I grew up being the primary care for the three dogs. I am a full time student at the U of A but have a lot of free time that I’d love to fill with taking care of dogs! I’m free on the weekends and have evenings/ afternoons off every day. I am always taking my dog for walks and happy to bring any other pups as well as letting them stay the night. I have the friendliest mini schnauzer that will keep your dog company. We go on at least 4 walks a day and she’s very well exercised/ played with!
“My little Papillion Milo had been bitten by a stray dog not that long ago and I was a little nervous about how he would react to Starasia's dogs. She assured me her dogs were used to overnight guests and, sure enough, Milo had only been there an hour when she sent a picture of him and one of her dogs snuggled up on the couch looking out the window. She kept up with me with pictures throughout the stay and I could see Milo was having a good time and felt right at home. If I need to board him again, it will definitely be with Starasia!”

About: I’ve been petsitting through Rover and for friends/family for a long time! I’ve handled puppies/kittens, low and high maintenance animals, different types of living situations, and more! I am a volunteer at Best Friends Animal Society, and I’ve grown up around pets my entire life. Currently, I run a nonprofit that keeps me Wednesday-Sunday from 12-6, but I can always go and check on a pet if needed during that time! In my home, I am very open to just about anything the pet wants to do, such as laying with me in bed, going on drives, etc., and I always check with people before sitting to make sure I respect the rules they have for their pets.
About: I’ve loved dogs forever but didn’t started caring for any until we got our first family dog when I was about 6 years old. Since then, I’ve pet sat for neighbors, friends, and family; but I’m excited to expand my horizons! I have class M, W, F in the am, but other than that my schedule it totally flexible! Other than the occasional trip home to Texas, I am pretty much always available. My roommate has one female dog that is neutered and crate trained. I have a fenced in balcony with turf and a very nice dog park in my neighborhood. I would love to take your dog(s) on fun long walks to the park or even in the trails down by my house.
“Olivia took amazing care of our dog, Max, while we were in town visiting our kids at college. She sent multiple photos and videos each day, as well as texted and kept us updated on how he was doing. She gave us such peace-of-mind knowing he was being cared for and loved on so well. Olivia is amazing - trust her for your pet-sitting needs next time you’re in Fayetteville!”

Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, this may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OK ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
