About: I’ve been caring for animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my mom was a wildlife rehabilitator for Arkansas Game and Fish, so I learned early on how to nurse injured and sick animals back to health with patience and compassion. From bottle feeding baby animals to helping with their recovery, I developed a deep respect for all creatures. In 2020, I began working with my stepmom at a petting zoo, where I had the amazing opportunity to train under a veterinarian. There, I learned how to administer medication, care for injuries, and provide emergency treatments like fluids and splints. This hands on experience gave me confidence and knowledge to handle all kinds of situations. Most recently, I worked at a busy doggy daycare, caring for up to 40 dogs daily and providing overnight care for boarders. Managing so many furry friends taught me how to stay calm, organized, and attentive to each pet’s unique needs. It also led me to truly be able to read body language and when to insert myself to prevent any unwanted interactions. I love creating a fun, safe environment where every dog feels loved and cared for. Overall, my experience combines a lifelong love of animals with professional training and real world skills; so I can promise that your pet will be in great hands! Right now, I am fully available for pet care! I'm unemployed, which means your pet will get my full attention and a super flexible schedule! Whether it's early mornings, late nights, or last minute needs, I've got the time and energy to give them all of the love, play, and care they deserve! When I am caring for your pets in your home, my goal is to keep their routine as normal and stress free as possible. I'll follow your instructions closely; whether that means feeding schedules, walks, meds, cuddles, or quiet time. I'm super respectful of your space and I'll always make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and totally at ease while you're away!

I’m hoping this hobby of pet care takes off and I’m able to fill in some gaps with earnings made from caring for your pets. We currently live in the country and have plenty of room for pets to run. I primary plan on walking pets near where you live or care for pets in owners homes.

“Andrea is THE best! Our dog is very unique in several ways, but he loves Andrea. The first time she came to visit, he did not bark AT ALL. That’s a first for our very anxious and barky pup! She is a loving, calm presence, and also happy to play ball with over-eager fur baby!”

About: I’ve taken care of my family’s dogs for years, and I have two of my own—so I get it. I’m super dependable, really patient, and honestly just love being around animals. I care about doing things right and making sure every dog feels safe and happy. Right now I don’t have much going on, so I’m super flexible and can fit pet care in pretty much anytime. “Katie H. sent only relevant messages, arrived on time and was gracious above and beyond expectations. I first booked two dogs, Mandy and Clarice. At the last minute she agreed to my adding a third dog, Winnie. Clarice was old, was diabetic and was not friendly due to her condition. Mandy was a normal, active 3-year old and Winnie was a 5-month old puppy. Katie sent us a couple of photos, and all three dogs were perfectly calm when we arrived after our event. This was my first experience with Rover.com, and I am truly impressed thanks to Katie.”
