About: I love animals and have had pets since I was a little girl! I have a mini golden doodle and a border collie mix now. They are my best friends. I’d love to meet and hang out with your pets and love on them like their my own!🐶 I work 2-3 days a week. But only for 5-6 hours a day. I can be free from work if needed to watch your pet! I have a fenced in yard and have a back yard to let your dogs run free. I have plenty of toys to play with and lots of love to give! I also have a walking trail close by that I take my dogs on regularly. I have a doggy door that your dogs can go in and out as well.

“Storm is wonderful with my two pups. They look forward to their morning walks. She goes above and beyond to make sure the dogs are happy. She does extra dog duties just to help us out on days that we aren’t home. Bless to have her.”

“My GSD instantly took to Ms. Elizabeth when we did our meet and greet, and the pictures she sent me during his visits he looked super happy. Ms. Elizabeth catered to Drago needing to be fed and walked, and my cat even came out to say hi which is uncommon! I would recommend Elizabeth to anyone with a dog you are unsure would take to someone because I think Drago knew he would be taken care for a loved.”

About: I’ve been taking care of my animals and others’ animals from a young age. I have a range of experience- with puppies and kittens, administering medication, unique personalities, special needs, and more. Whether its a high energy dog or a nervous and shy cat or anything in between, I have seen it all! I am flexible and willing to help in any way I can! Currently not boarding at the moment since I am moving into a new space soon. I can go home for lunch during the week and am free all evenings and weekends. Since I am in the process of moving to a new space, I am not boarding at the moment. I am usually available for boarding on weeknights after 4p and full days on the weekends. Your pet is my priority whether I am at your place or mine. When staying at your place, I will always try to leave it neater than when I came across it. Whether its replacing batteries in your ring camera or letting the service man come in, I am available to help you in anyway you need when something unexpected occurs while you're out. Any animals staying at my home are made to feel comfortable and safe; my home becomes their home!

About: I have a love for all animals, as a child growing up I have always wanted to be a Veterinarian Assistant. I began doing foster care for dogs in 2020 after doing this for a while I felt a much greater need to help even more. I began my own dog rescue in 2020. I walk, play, love and care for each animal. I have rescued and rehomed several dogs to safe and loving homes. I treat them as if they were my own. The unbreakable bond between pets and their people is something that will forever warm my heart! I’m currently working part time. I’m available after work and on my off days. Just message me and we can make things work! I’m more than happy to help! I have three fur-babies of my own and they love to run around and play outside, there is 7-acres of land, and the best part is not by any main roads, it’s private. I also walk my dogs or let them play inside with some toys. Depending on your pet and your instructions for your pet, I’ll make sure that your pet and you as well feel comfortable with things. If it’s a client’s home then whatever instructions are given I’ll make sure to go by!

About: I have years of experience caring for dogs and understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs. I’m a proud dog owner myself and have experience with different breeds, sizes, and energy levels. I’m comfortable with walks, playtime, feeding schedules, medication reminders, and giving pets the attention and affection they deserve. My goal is to make pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable while their owners are away. I work a consistent schedule and have a reliable routine, which helps me provide dependable care. I’m available for pet visits, walks, and check-ins while making sure each pet gets the attention, exercise, and care they need. I understand how important it is to have someone trustworthy looking after your pets. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I treat every animal like they are my own and take time to learn their routine, preferences, and personality. Whether caring for pets in your home or providing visits, I focus on creating a calm, safe, and positive experience for both pets and their owners.

About: I’ve always adored pets since I was young. I’ve had many in my life from cats, dogs, and rodents. I know animals are equal beings that need treatment with special accommodations. This requires patience which is almost unlimited for me.i currently have three cats that I’ve owned since they were 3-4 months old they’re now 6. I just got rats a few weeks ago they’re girls 6-8 months old. I believe everything follows a routine dedicated to them and I have no issue aligning myself to these routines. I’m still finishing high school at the moment and I have a job. But besides managing those I’m available weekdays after 4 if I’m not scheduled to work, weekends any time I keep my babies inside as much as possible. They’re allowed to free roam outside since they’re used to that lifestyle from before. They wear flee collars, jam is allergic. I cleanse them with daily grooming and anima safe wipes or soap if necessary. They’re fed 2-3 a day with half a cup or less of cat food I do plan to change their diets eventually. When it comes to other people’s pets I treat them with nothing but love and care and always stay considerate of whatever the owner says I should know about that animal. I’m extremely against cruelty brand products so I will avoid associating or using them.

FAQs for Dog Walking - Pearlington

Frequently asked questions about Rover

Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Pearlington. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking bookings, your dog walker can send a Rover Card with details about your dog’s walk. Rover Cards require at least one photo and may include a map of the walking route , the total walk time and distance, and any pee or poop breaks recorded by the walker.

The route map lets you review where your dog was walked in Pearlington after the booking. It is not live GPS tracking.

Have specific details you would like included? Message your dog walker in the app before the walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your walker interacts with your pet or the new environment.

During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and walker for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet .

walkers on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.

Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
