About: Hi my name is Ashley and I have worked with animals since I was 15. I worked at VCA Woodford Animal Hospital and Keshlyn kennel also advanced animal care an emergency vet. I know what it takes to care for your babies. I have a 6ft privacy fenced in backyard with cameras so I can keep an eye your loved ones while they are having some outdoor time. I do have 2 dog pens outside that MY OWN dogs will stay in while your dogs are outside just for safety reasons. My dogs are good with other dogs but just to keep everyone safe until they get to know each other better I will keep them separated but they will be able to still sniff and see each other till they get comfortable. I am home majority of the day so your pet will be with me unless I go to the grocery store. They will stay inside the house and have access to the backyard when they want to do run around. I do have a 10 yr old daughter but she is extremely intuitive about animals and does know how to care and knows the signs when they are nervous or scared. She tries her best to make them feel as comfortable as possible. We do enjoy evening walks around the neighborhood and would be taking your loved ones on the walks with us so they can explore the new area. I have no issues with puppies or senior dogs or dogs on medications I am able to care for them all with my experience I have seen it all and nothing really surprises me anymore. I am fine with helping crate or house training puppies I know consistency is key in training them and I am up to the task. I am home majority of the time especially during the summer months I am home 24/7 unless out running errands. So you pet will always have someone home to cuddle and play with Fenced in back yard with a camera so I can keep an eye on them constantly. My dogs would be locked up in the dog pens that I feed them in everyday so they are used to going in them so it’s not an issue to keep them contained while yours is outside playing and romping around

It's a lively, loving household filled with some of the sweetest animals you'll ever meet! I'm happy to help with feeding, watering, administering basic care, and making sure your pet gets plenty of exercise and enrichment. Whether it's a leashed walk, a game of fetch, or just some quality cuddle time, l'm here to provide a safe and loving environment where your pet feels at home.

“Angle did a great job with our fur baby. She communicated well and connected with our dog during the first meeting. Look forward to her walking our Daisy many more times.”

About: *** Please feel free to message me if you are concerned about rates or would like to set up a different form of payment *** There has never been a moment in my life where I didn’t have animals. We have had dogs, cats, horses, and chickens and I have loved all of them equally. I have been helping to take care of my grandpa’s coonhounds since I could walk. Throughout my life, I have been able to work with these strong, high energy dogs. I have experience with walking them, as well as teaching them how to walk on the leash with minimal pulling. We have also raised MANY litters of puppies, so I have experience with puppy care as well. I have had the responsibility of giving puppies their parvo/puppy shots to ensure they don’t become ill when weaning from their mother. I have also had my own dog, Sally, for about 10 years now. She is a French bulldog, and she does need a little extra care sometimes. She has some skin irritations, so she has a special food that has helped. She also has a gentle shampoo that she is bathed with that will not cause her to itch afterwards. I also keep her face and wrinkles clean to keep any irritation at bay. I am a student at Morehead State University, where I am part of an organization called 4Paws for Ability. We work with service dogs in training where we socialize them in public. These dogs learn to not be afraid of new things, and to feel comfortable and confident in a public setting no matter where they go. I have been a part of this group for two years, and for a year and a half of this time, I have been able to dog sit many of these dogs countless amounts of time. I had the opportunity to work with and be responsible for one of these dogs named Gingko. I was responsible for his care, and a lot a lot of his basic commands. My main goal was to socialize him in public, which included things like meeting new people/children, being able to walk by dogs without a reaction, going shopping at Walmart, hearing new sounds, or even just a walk through a park. In the summer of 2022, I volunteered at the Owen County Animal Clinic where I had the opportunity to work with all sorts of dogs and cats. Often times, I would comfort and hold animals still for any injections, nail trimmings, or basic inspection that needed to be done. I enjoyed my time there, and I especially enjoyed giving love and comforting many of the scared and stressed animals. I currently have a part time job and will be working on some Wednesdays and Fridays, as well as Saturdays and Sunday mornings. I won’t be working all day, so will still have availability on those days, but not a full day. Otherwise, Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays are open all day! I do help my grandfather exercise his hound dogs on occasion, but nothing that interferes with creating a schedule. I have a pretty big yard so my dog gets to run around as she pleases. She isn’t kept on a collar or leash as she is very well trained to stay in the yard, but she doesn’t like to be alone anyway so she stays near me. But I do understand that not all dogs are like this and may need a very watchful eye. When my grandpa raises a litter of coonhound puppies, they need to be watched during outside times so they don’t wonder off into the woods or close to the road.

“Bekah was great! She took great care of my dog and cat while I worked a 12-hour shift with an additional 2-hour commute. She sent pictures of the time she was here, and even brought in a package I had delivered so it wouldn’t sit outside all day! I will definitely rebook with Bekah!”

Makena G.
“Makena is a life long lover of all animals. I have frequently called her "the animal wisperer." She somehow has a second sense about her that even the most timid, anxious, abused, and neglected animals seem to connect and immediately feel safe with her. My super protective and anxious Australian shepherd would go absolutely bonkers at the mention of her name. They had a special connection that not many could develop with my crazy guy! Her huge heart for the love she shares with animals has made her an amazing person. Sometimes the love of a pet and their love for you is the best connection and one of the most meaningful types of relationships we develop in life. Blair her dog is treated better than most humans and Makena is her best friend! She loves playing in the water, taking rides, going on trails. Makena is the owner, but Blair is the boss! She does anything and everything to keep her at her happiest. Makena's extensive history for working with other people's most precious pets makes her an exceptional candidate for this position. I have no doubt that Makena will excel! As I have noted, with her love of animals, devotion to the happiness of animals, and caring heart, she will without a doubt win over her client's and their pets!”
