About: I’ve owned and cared for dogs and cats and other pets since 1986. Love, trust, patience and high respect with animals are my #1 priority! I have volunteered with Animal Protective League as well as adopted cats from there. I am pretty much a person who takes home a stray animal who needs a home. My family has taken in 20 cats in the last 25 years that were strays on the street and kept them their whole lives. We have owned, to this date, 14 dogs dating as far back as when I was a toddler. Trust is everything and you can be rest assured that your pets will be lovingly cared for while you enjoy time away! Animals are my passion and I look forward to meeting yours! I am currently a stay-at-home mom. I own 11 cats. I am available for long-term and short-term periods. I am flexible with schedules and times and days depend on the client’s needs as well as pet needs. Currently, I am available for walking dogs, watching cats, as well as checking in and feeding animals at the client’s house during the client’s absence. Please contact me for further details and a custom schedule! Currently not providing pet care in my home. Pet care will be provided in the client’s home. When pet daycare services become available in my home, it will be announced!
About: I have been taken care of animals since I can remember! I’ve taken care of all kinds of animals/different breeds and I love it! I have been taking care for friends and family, and I’m just trying to get more out there! I’d cuddle with them, play with them, feed them and give them treats, I take them on walks, I’ve taken some dogs to get groomed, I’ve even given baths before, and I’d do whatever needed to be done! I’ve stayed over night with animals before while the owners were out of town and I love being with new animals! I’ve also had to take care of some animals that needed insulin and other medications! I used to have a senior dog that I would have to help get up and carry outside when he needed to go! I love taking care of any animals and have so much fun doing it! I am currently working part time so I’d definitely have time to play with the animals and take them out as many times as needed! I work morning shifts so I’m free in the afternoon! I’m always taking care of my animals as well so I’m definitely used to it! My kitties have a cat tree they love and lots of toys we play with! I can do whatever is needed to take care of them! I can create your dog if necessary!

I’ll have more availability during my breaks from school. I have two dogs that love making new friends. I also have space to crate your dogs. We also love taking walks in the mornings.
About: I’ve had dogs for my entire life. I have been volunteering at a local humane society since the age of seven. I take care of all of my family and friends’ dogs while they are away on vacation. Pet care will be my summer job! When I am not on vacation myself, I will be available. I am incredibly flexible. I can stay at your home or come and go as your pet needs! I have a fenced in yard and four dogs of my own. I am no stranger to cleaning up messes or using a lint roller before I leave the house.
“I’ve been in the hospital a week with very minimal help for Amina because I set a high standard in her quality of life. Carmen was able to step in last minute to do a 2 hours visit, that I greatly appreciate!!!! I’m sure Amina did too.”

“Jade has been our pet sitter several times and we have another service booked with her in the future. She is a credit to Rover.com service. Jade offers great care, affection and administers insulin injections to one of our two cats. When we came home our cats were happy and had good care. The best service is peace of mind when we are gone knowing Jade has our home and beloved cats in her care. Thanks Jade for your love, care and responsible service.”

“My dog Sadie, loved Andrew from the minute she met him, and she's not one to fall in love so easily. Andrew did drop ins for me and i couldn't of been happier with how well he treated Sadie. She even conned him into taking her for walks. I will definately be booking Andrew again in the future. Its such a relief to find someone you can trust.”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of August 2026, there are 64 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Pawnee. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
