“I have known Lena for decades. She runs the local Humane Society Shelter and is incredibly compassionate, knowledgeable and fastidious with her furry charges. Over the last couple of years Lena has house sat my 4 fur babies for days and sometimes weeks. She is wonderful. I trust her implicitly with my "kids" wellbeing and love. She would send me pictures and video of them eating, playing and getting cuddles. She kept my home clean and tidy and when I would return the floofies always looked contented and well-fed. They never had that wild, squirrelly look of trauma I'd see in their eyes sometimes after others would watch them. This was def comforting for me and a Green flag that they were well-loved and were at a low-stress level will I was absent. Her knowledge of animal healthcare is also a bonus; if something were to go awry, I know she would handle a medical issue with a calm, cool head. Lena is def a "go to" house sitter for me. I highly recommend her!!”

“Mark is very friendly and kind. You can see how much he really loves animals. I felt comfortable having him care for my pets while I was away for four days over the holiday. Mark showed up on time and was very thorough to make sure that each animal ate (they sometimes steal each other's food) and he was conscious of making sure that everyone was okay even though my one cat kept hiding on him. Mark communicated well and my house was pristine when I returned - as if I never had left. He took the time to play with my animals in addition to basic care. I think my trio enjoyed the visits just as much as he did!”

About: I’ve worked with dogs on and off for years but have had dogs all of my life. I have given played with big packs of pups and done solo play times as well. I have a flexible schedule that will let me have more availability for your fluffy friends to get out and play and exercise. I’m looking for a long term dog caring commitment to start off my new year. I am not able to do home care ( in my home) at this time. I do have two wonderful dogs who love to have play dates at puppy parks and go for long walks.

About: I have had a dog and several cats growing up and taken care of pets for friends and family. I currently live with a my girlfriend her Bernese Mountain Dog. I currently work a 9-5 job so am open to morning and afternoon walks. I am also generally flexible on weekends if planned in advance. My girlfriend has a 130 pound Bernese Mountain Dog which can be a handful. I have learned how to navigate new spaces deescalate situations with him. My strategy is mitigating the possibility for anything to go wrong and being prepared if it does.
