“Daniel & Rachel were so flexible when I was delayed with pick up and took adorable photos of Yote. He returned home happy and tired from playing with his friends.”

“I’m so glad my pup stayed with Wendy! Wendy texted lots of photos of Daisy and I always felt assured she was safe and happy. There was a big yard for the dogs to play in and I was able to enjoy my vacation knowing Daisy was in such responsible hands.”

“Hayley did a great job taking care of my dog. She kept me updated with messages and pictures throughout his stay. Not only was she great with my pet, but also did an amazing job communicating with me especially being flexible when I needed some help. I would love her to take care of my dog again.”

“very kind and attentive to miso. Miso has so much fun and she’s amazing with sending updates and taking pictures too. Would book again next time! Can really tell she loves dogs :)”

“Cara was a great sitter for our boys. Very communicative and welcoming. Sent frequent updates and pictures of the stay. Would recommend and would love to book with Cara again in the future!”

“We had never boarded our 5 year old Pomeranian, Oreo and were nervous. Jan took great care of him and treated him as if he were hers. We got lots of updates and pictures while we were gone. We would definitely use Jan again!”

“Our favorite family to trust with our dog. They do an amazing job sending pictures and updates. We always feel 100% comfortable leaving our furry friend for the week or weekend. Can’t express enough how grateful we are for Tara and Peter!”
“Alayna and Adam deserve a 10 star review. They met the needs of our dogs, they followed instructions provided, kept the dogs engaged and stimulated. Dogs were perfect little angels and never showed distress as they were made to feel at home during their stay. Great communcation via messages, videos and pictures. They shared any concerns they observed during the stay and checked in to make sure it was normal behavior and one of our dogs health was okay. They were amazing and accomodating. Their house is clean!! I can't say enough things about them! Will definitely book them again!”

“We’re really happy with Debra and how she handled everything for our dog while we were out of town. We arranged for a meetup before the stay to ensure this would be a good match. When I dropped off our dog there was an introduction to the other pets in her home so our pup could get acclimated. While we were away we received daily updates with photos and it looked like our pup was having a great time. Thanks for taking good care and we look forward to scheduling with you again!”

“Martha and her family are phenomenal. I get very emotional about leaving my dog. I’ve suffered a lot of losses recently and I don’t like to leave my boy. Martha and her family made me feel so at ease. I feel comfortable traveling without worry. I recommend her to anyone even though this might take her away from me lol”

“Maya is such a wonderful sitter!!! Harley enjoyed herself making new friends and being spoiled with treats and cuddles! She always reassures me with plenty of pictures and updates while we’re away! I absolutely love her and will always use her for all our Rover needs!!”

“So glad I found Angelina to watch my Labradoodle, she had never had experience with one before and they can be a handful, anxious, attention seeker, busy…she did great! He loved staying there and all family members were great with him. She stayed in contact and sent pics, highly recommend her, I was able to relax knowing he was in great hands!!”

“Anita was great. We got pictures and updates on how Pepper was doing each day. She is great at communication and did a great job taking care of Pepper. Her kids seem to enjoy having Pepper stay wit them.”

“If I could give Katlyn 10 stars, I absolutely would! Leaving my Izzi behind while traveling for work isn’t easy, but Katlyn gave me something truly priceless, peace of mind. From the very beginning, I felt completely at ease knowing Izzi was in such loving, capable hands. It’s one thing to have someone watch your dog, but it’s something entirely different to find someone who genuinely cares for your dog as if she were their own. That’s the kind of care Katlyn provides. I never had to worry, and that feeling alone meant the world to me. When someone is entrusted with a little piece of your heart, you hope they’ll understand just how much that responsibility means. Katlyn absolutely does. I can’t recommend her highly enough. She is truly a gem, and Izzi and I are so lucky to have found her!”

“Mike and his family (2-legged and 4-legged) are wonderful. It was my first experience using Rover and Mike is a wonderful representative for your company. They cared for my new rescue Ronnie who is very timid. Mike has a wonderful fenced-in backyard where Ronnie enjoyed romping with Mike's dogs Pickle and Snoopy his home is very dog-friendly, comfortable, and cozy and Ronnie made himself right at home. I received daily photos which gave me the reassurance that Ronnie was enjoying wonderful care. I even remarked to Mike that I hoped Ronnie would want to come home with me. Thank you again, Mike and family. You are wonderful people and thank you for the excellent care you gave my Ronnie. He's been resting all day from his adventure with you. God bless! Dora”

“LeAndra was very communicative throughout the trip and took the time to share pictures and updates that put our mind at ease. She walked Hermione and made sure she felt loved even through the 4th of July fireworks. Would absolutely book again.”

“Amanda was wonderful with our girl, Azula! She communicated so well, was flexible, and really cared about our dog. We received daily photos and updates. Azula seemed sad to leave lol thanks to Amanda and her sweet family!”

About: I have spent my life caring for and loving dogs! I’ve raised many dogs of my own and have also helped my children care for their puppies over the years. I currently have two Golden Retrievers, a Bichon Poodle, and a Yorkshire Terrier. Throughout my life, I’ve raised and cared for Vizslas, Shih Tzus, Labradors, mixed breeds, and more. Anything from energetic puppies to sweet senior dogs. This experience has made me comfortable caring for dogs of all different sizes, personalities, activity levels, and life stages. I understand that every dog has their own personality, routine, and needs, and I’ll care for your dog with the same patience, attention, and affection I give my own. I currently work as a mail carrier, typically from about 7 AM–1 PM. I’m an early bird, so I’m happy to provide plenty of attention, potty breaks, feeding, or playtime before I leave for work. I’m usually home for the rest of the day after work, which gives me lots of time for walks, outdoor time, play, and cuddles with your pup! Outside of my work hours, I’m home most days and love spending time in my yard with my dogs, so caring for another pup fits naturally into my everyday routine. I have a large yard with plenty of space to enjoy the outdoors, as well as a secure lead for pups who love spending time outside. I am also used to walking dogs on lease so that would be no issue at all. I’m typically outside in my yard every morning and again in the afternoon (sometimes through the evening) when I get home, so your pup will have plenty of opportunities for fresh air, playtime, and supervision. My dogs are total lovebugs and are used to sharing their home with other pups! My Golden Retrievers, Dale and Luke, enjoy spending time with dogs of all sizes and would be happy to have another friend around. For smaller or younger dogs, my Yorkshire Terrier, Lucy, is just under a year old and loves having a playmate. (Sam, my Bichon poodle is around 16 years old so he doesnt play very much lol). My dogs tend to follow me wherever I go, and your pup would be welcome to join our little crew! I know every dog has a different personality and comfort level, so I’m happy to follow your normal routines and preferences. If your pup needs some quiet time, prefers their own space, or needs to be separated from the other dogs at any point, I can safely crate them or provide space away from the group based on your instructions. Most importantly, I want you to feel comfortable leaving your pup with me. I’ll treat them as part of the family while respecting the routines, boundaries, and care instructions you provide.

During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.

- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Parkman.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
