“Our girl, Beatrix, had a blast when staying overnight in Katie's home. We know she is well taken care of while under Katie's watch. It takes Beatrix time to trust someone enough to even allow them to pet her, but within the first few hours in Katie's care (at a daycare visit), she had no such reservations at all. On the next visit, she happily trotted away from us and into Katie's home without a look back at us - amazing! It is clear that Katie makes Trix feel comfortable and safe. Thanks for taking good care of Beatrix, Katie! 🩷”

“Kelli was great! Murphy was mad when we left her house until we got home🫣 I guess because he had too much fun. She kept him for one night and he got a hold of a piece of clothing which made him sick until it passed and she kept me updated and cleaned up his toys & blanket he messed on! I am so thankful she took great care of him and kept him so last minute!”
“Was great with our Archer, handle this Siberian Husky like a pro. Kept us updated and tons of photos of our baby. Will definitely use again for future vacation or trips that he can’t go with us.”

“The best person anyone could ever leave your fur baby! It is simply another part of her family and has friends to play with! Would recommend her time and time again! Thank you Amanda for taking care of our Maggie! She was basically sad to leave but that says a lot in itself! The best!!!!”

“Laura H. Is an awesome sitter. I was sent pictures and texts multiple times during her stay. I felt confident that Snuggles was well taken care of. I will definitely use Laura again in the future!”
About: If you’re looking for someone who will care for your pets like family, you’ve come to the right place! I’m a huge animal lover and advocate. Every animal in my care is treated with the same love, patience, and attention that I give my own. I have more than 17 years of hands-on experience caring for animals of all ages, sizes, and breeds. Growing up on a small farm gave me the opportunity to care for everything from horses to guinea pigs, as well as dogs, cats, and many other animals. I’m comfortable with a wide variety of pets and their unique needs. I work full time but I do only live 10 minutes from work. So I am here in the mornings, lunch, and evenings through the week and home all weekend. Your pet will most likely be capable of free roaming and sleeping wherever they find comfiest in my home. I do have two mature cats in the house that are very good with other animals. I also have a toddler who loves all animals.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
