About: I have been taking care of animals since I was 10. I have cared for a blind senior cat as well as a cat with hip problems, which required patience, close monitoring, and adapting the environment to keep them safe and comfortable. I currently help care for my friend’s senior dog, who also has hip and dental issues, so I’m familiar with administering gentle support, maintaining comfort, and being attentive to mobility limitations and pain cues. In addition, I have experience caring for younger animals, including kittens and puppies around 12 weeks old. This has given me practice with high-energy care, feeding routines, supervision, and basic early-life behavior management. Overall, I’m comfortable working with both senior pets and young animals, and I adjust my care style based on each pet’s specific health, energy level, and personality needs. Pet care fits into my routine pretty easily because I currently have a part-time job with a very variable schedule. Since my shifts change from week to week, I’m generally flexible and available most days with some notice. This flexibility allows me to adjust around pet care responsibilities like feeding, walks, check-ins, or overnight stays when needed. I’m also used to planning my time in a way that ensures animals are consistently cared for, even on busier days, so I can reliably fit pet care into my weekly schedule. In my home, I would make sure any pet is cared for in a safe, comfortable, and supervised environment. While my apartment doesn’t have a backyard, there is a fenced-in area nearby where dogs can run, play fetch, and get exercise. I also have a car, so if the owner is comfortable with it, I can take the dogs to a dog park for additional enrichment and activity. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize keeping their routine as consistent as possible—feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special care instructions are followed closely. I’m also very mindful of respecting the home itself. I was raised to always leave a place cleaner than I found it, so I make sure everything is kept tidy, organized, and exactly as I found it. Communication is also important to me, so I always update owners and let them know right away if anything seems off or if there are any concerns about their pet’s health, behavior, or well-being.

“Tanna did a great job looking after our pups during a recent drop in booking. We met for a meet and greet before the date and our pups took to her straight away. During the drop in visit, Tanna fed, watered and took our pups out for a bathroom break. She provided plenty of photos from her visit too. About: I have had a plethora of dogs growing up all ranging from little Pomeranians to cattle driven Border Collies to Great big Danes! In my four years of pet experience, I worked with two Cane Corso’s training, walking, cleaning up all their drool, washing them, and overnight watching them from puppies together till I had to sadly leave them to come to school this year. I watched them everyday for 5+ hours, taking them on walks and always was willing to drive them to the mountains because I know how much they love the snow. I am willing to take your dogs anywhere to reach their maximum happiness and the 10,000 steps dogs need too! I never missed a day of sitting them and if I had to miss one, I always made sure to rely that information with plenty of time ahead. I am in the agriculture industry, and am strong enough and not afraid to deal with reactive and high energy dogs, since I have experience with both. I would love to see the adventures I can take your pets on! I am a student at the University of Idaho, but M/W/F before 8:30, and after 1:30 I am available to book any service! Tuesday’s I am free to give my undivided attention to any pup or cat! Usually my afternoons consist of homework and taking my own puppy on walks and to the park to play fetch. So taking care of animals and putting my time forward to pets is not second nature, it’s a routine! I make sure I keep my pup on a specific time of eating and walking during the week so she does not get stressed out or worried. I have a large dog crate in my home that can be used. I do not have a fenced in yard, but I do have a large field behind me that me and a pet can go and play in. My house already has one pup who gets along with any type of dog and is very passive. She is not a huge cat lover.

Stephanie took the time to come by for four nights before we left so she could spend time getting to know Murphy so he was comfortable while we were gone. About: I have taken care of dogs and other pets since I was a young child. I have an undergraduate degree in Ecology and Conservation Biology and recently finished a master's in Environmental Education and Science Communication. I am very passionate about animals, both domestic and wild. I recently graduated with my Masters of Natural Resources degree from the University of Idaho and just got my first full-time job here in Pullman! I work M-F 8am to 5pm with a one hour break, so I’m able to check on your pup(s) before, during, and after work with ease! I ensure that pets have numerous potty breaks, plenty of play and rest time, and, of course, they will get plenty of cuddles. If a fenced-in yard is unavailable, I will ensure they get extra walks into their daily routine.

About: I have had countless house/petsitting duties since i was 12 years old. Friends, neighbors, family, and mutuals have all used me for reliable, quality animal care. Along with my personal gigs, I also have 4 years of experience working in a dog daycare/boarding facility, including running it while my boss is out of town. In my experience, I’ve taken care of young, old, scaled, feathered, tiny, huge…I’m confident I’ll be a fantastic caretaker for your furry companion(s). I am a 3rd year student at WSU. I have no other responsibilities besides lectures/labs, so all my free time will go to your pets, and I’m happy to discuss my schedule with clients upon meeting. Whatever your schedule is with your fur babies, I will do my best to imitate it. I will follow whatever instructions go along with your animal’s normal day-to-day routine. About: I have taken care of animals since I was a pre-teen, but fell in love with animal care fully in my junior year of high school, after I began volunteering at the Everett Animal Shelter. Since then, I have changed positions and worked as a post-surgery volunteer with PAWS, transporting and handling anesthetized animals after they underwent surgeries. This summer I am also interning at PAWS again, this time as a Foster Care Intern, where I manage the entire foster care system behind the scenes. Additionally, I have worked with large animals such as horses while volunteering, managed and milked dairy cattle, and took care of pigs as my job on the side. I will continue to grow my portfolio, as I am a Pre-Vet Animal Science major at Washington State University with the goal of becoming a veterinarian one day. I am currently on summer break in my hometown (Everett) and have pretty open availability. I intern at paws from 8am-12pm on Sundays & Mondays, and 12-5pm on Thursdays, but other than that, I am free for walks, house sitting, or drop ins! Safety is extremely important during both house sitting & walks! For walks, I like to make sure dogs stay on the side of the sidewalk away from the road, as well as being properly harnessed and equipped with essential needs like poop bags and water incase of an emergency. I also keep a sharp eye out for other dogs to steer clear from unwanted interactions. Additionally, during house sitting, outside doors stay locked at all times, and your pet is watched 24/7. No escapes will happen on my watch! I am open to following any other rules, expectations or suggestions you have regarding your pet & house’s safety!

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was 11. From my dog, to my family member's dogs, I've taken them on walks, given medication through pill pockets, fed them, brushed them, played with them, and given them all the love and attention they could ever want! I'm working part time, so I can give as much attention as possible to your pets! I'll be constantly in the area, so no need to worry about your pet being alone for too long. I’ll take the fur baby (or babies) on walks, play with them, love on them, and everything in between! Any need they could have, I can meet.

About: I’m Miranda! lover of all pets, young and old, big and small. We can do walks, hikes, swimming, even to a play day at the park, I am sure I will love to pamper your fur babies I'm currently working part-time, so I'II have plenty of time to play with your pups! I’m available even on holidays and whatever else you need! All dogs are separated at feeding times of 8 am and 4 pm, unless you feed more and have a slightly different schedule. I am used to serving regular dry, wet, mixtures, raw foods. All dogs will be treated like my own. Spoiled an loved!

About: I’ve cared for dogs, cats, and fish since I was 10. I’m reliable, patient, attentive, and genuinely love animals. I treat every pet like my own and make sure they feel safe and loved. I’m a student-athlete, so I’m used to managing my time and staying responsible. Pet care fits easily into my routine, and I always make time for the animals I’m caring for. Since pet sitting is my main job outside of school and athletics, your pets will always be a priority. I always follow each pet’s normal routine and their owner’s instructions. I make sure they’re fed, have fresh water, get plenty of playtime, walks, attention, and cuddles. I also keep their space clean and make sure they feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away.

About: As an incoming 1st year vet student, I have devoted over 8000 hours to veterinary medicine. This has given me experience caring for pets of all shapes and sizes, including young puppies, senior dogs, fractious cats, and medically complex pets. Additionally, I am a dog foster and have recovered medically complex pups from intense surgeries/traumas. Given those experiences, I am comfortable administering medications both orally and injectables, as well as recognizing signs and symptoms of illness. As well, I have a behaviorally complex German Shepherd of my own, and feel comfortable recognizing and avoiding triggers, or safely deescalating situations if they arise. I currently work at an emergency vet with varying shifts, including some overnights, weekends, and evenings. This also means I have many days I can spent my time exclusively with your pets to get some energy out during the daylight! I welcome the opportunity to discuss my schedule during your trip specifically! After a lifetime in veterinary medicine & kennel assistant responsibilities, I’ve learned the ins and outs of pet safety, especially with behaviorally complex pets. I am happy to work with each pet specifically to cater to where they feel best- whether that be crated, on the couch beside me, or anywhere in between!
