About: Hello! My name is Alyssa and I am a 20 year old college student remotely studying Psychology and Criminal Justice. I’ve had dogs and a cat since I was young and was always held accountable to take care of them! I took a Veterinary Science class in High School and dealt with animals on a daily during this course (Bunnies and Puppies.) I have recently owned hamsters and fish as well that were 100% my responsibility. I’ve volunteered at animal shelters and have 4 years of paid experience with pet sitting for neighbors. Animals deserve the world and I love to make a difference in their lives even if they don’t understand it :) I am also willing to negotiate pricing based off your animals energy/need for attention/etc. Please reach out to me with any additional questions and I’d be happy to answer! I am currently a college student who is taking online courses to work on getting my degree. Other than daily assignments, I have no other daily commitments and will be available 90% of the time, other than my planned unavailability on my calendar! I have a large front and back yard with plenty of room to play. I do have an indoor/outdoor cat but she keeps to herself and is never a bother. I could easily keep her separated from your pet. About: I have experience in daycare/boarding settings, i have experience with high drive dogs, I do dog sports with my own personal dog so i am pretty confident in my handling skills. I have done years of research on dog related things some including understanding body language, knowing when a dog is uncomfortable or needs to be removed from a situation, what things are good and what are bad, how to use training tools properly if needed, learning the genetics of dog breeds and just over all temperaments that certain breeds have. I grew up on a farm full of dogs and other animals ive always owned dogs especially bully breeds ive been around dogs will all ages, behaviors and sizes my family and friends all know my love for animals and how good i am with them and how much i care about them even when they arent my own. I currently am unemployed, i am a stay at home dog mom and aside from the occasional grocery store run i am at home with my dogs. I will care for your pet to the best of my ability and under any instructions that may be given to me. I will care for your pet like they are my own and keep them as safe as possible while under my care!

About: Many members of my family have had dogs, cats, and various other types of pets for my entire life. In my own home, my parents began giving me pet care tasks to help me practice caring for animals when I was pretty young. These skills have developed significantly over the years. I am a loving and caring person and have always had a playful side. This being said, I am still able to handle stressful situations with a firm but compassionate hand. This gives me a distinct advantage when it comes to pet care. Currently I work two jobs, one full-time and one part-time. The full time job have regular hours M-F, 8am to 4pm. I would be able to do drop in visits both before work starts and after it ends. I usually work my part time job on weekends in the late morning- early afternoon. They are very flexible and as long as I get enough notice, I will be able to schedule visits then as well. I feed my cat on a regular schedule so I am able to do the same with your pet. I am also able and willing to play, bathe, or just hang out with your pets. Unfortunately I would not be able to have your pets in my apartment, as my complex does not allow unauthorized animals but I am more than willing to come to you!

About: Responsible, dependable, have three large dogs and two cats of my own, enjoy making sure they are taken care of and well loved. My retirement dream is to have a senior dog sanctuary, love to get out and walk. I work in healthcare. Growing up we also had dogs and they went with us everywhere because they were part of the family. My three crazy pups now are rescues from the shelter, it amazes me no wanted them, shelter pups make the best companions. I will make sure to clean up after them and that they have plenty of fresh water after their walks if hired. For longer visits I would prefer my own house as long as everyone gets along I currently work fulltime Monday thru Friday, available on weekends and evenings. Other times can be discussed. If able can do check ins on unscheduled dates if you are running late getting home Provide sanitary clean up, my yard is fenced in, will not leave unattended in the yard, lots of toys to play with in the yard.

About: I work at Banfield in Newport News as a vet assistant. I currently have a senior dachshund named Leo who’s great with other dogs and cats. My work schedule varies month to month. I can walk dogs or take care of pets in your home if my work schedule allows, or I can board in my house (dog friendly dogs/cats or small animals). I also have years of experience medicating dogs, cats, and small animals, and can trim nails on dogs and cats. I work 10 hour shifts, 4 days a week at Banfield. It varies each week but I do get a monthly schedule each month. I usually get my monthly schedule at the beginning of the previous month I usually take my dog out every 3-4 hours to go potty while I’m home. If your dog has a routine he/she follows, let me know and I can accommodate!

About: I’ve never lived a day in my life without having a dog by my side, and I can confidently say that I can’t imagine it any other way. From puppies to our older friends, I love them just like they’re my own. After many years spent with different breeds, sizes, and ages, I am also well versed in pet first aid and common health conditions. I am especially fond of senior dogs and would be honored to care for them. I have recently begun a full time job in Richmond but still petsit often since I truly enjoy it. My schedule best suits check ins with pets in the mornings or evenings. You will never have to worry about how your baby is doing. Because of my own personal (and very anxiety inducing!) experiences with being away from my boy, I am very diligent about keeping pet parents in the loop.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 12. Neighbors and family have relied one me to keep their loved one safe. Animals were always my passion. I currently work full time at a bank but I get long lunch breaks and I will see your pet in the morning and evening. I always make sure they have everything they need! I will always make sure your pet is in a safe environment. I will get to know their likes and dislikes and never put them in an unsafe situation.

About: I have taken care of all kinds of animals cats, dogs, fish, and even plants! I love to help my friends, family, and more with walking their dog, feeding their cat, or watering plants! I work only a few days a week because I’m a stay at home mother so I would give your pup all my love. I’m available during the week from 11am - 8pm. I take my dogs on walks as well as play fetch at least once a day! I feed them twice a day and let them out every 2-3 hours. If i dog/cat sit for someone I go to their house 2 times a day to feed, walk, or whatever else I’m instructed to do.
