About: I have grown up with dogs of all kinds throughout my life, so being around animals has always been a natural part of who I am. While I currently don’t have a pet of my own, caring for others’ pets is incredibly fulfilling because it allows me to continue giving love and attention to animals while helping families feel confident their pets are in good hands. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, so I focus on providing dependable care, lots of attention, and clear communication with updates and photos so you always feel comfortable and connected while you’re away. I work from home full-time, so your pet will have lots of company, love and attention throughout the day—no long lonely hours here. I live in an apartment that has a dog park, and lots of nearby walking trails I go to daily. Since I don’t currently have a pet of my own, caring for others’ pets truly brings so much happiness into our home. I love creating a calm, loving environment where pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I do everything I can to make both you and your pet feel comfortable and confident in my care.

About: Please note*** I cannot board pets where I live, all pet sitting (days and overnight) is done at your residence. Hello! I've had dogs and cats all my life. I am the type to keep my dogs active whether it be playing fetch in the yard or throwing the stick in the lake for them to fetch. I believe in lots of play toys and chewys so they never get bored. I also understand the dog who might be more calm, maybe a little shy and likes time alone, and that is very understandable. I am a retired nurse and know pretty well the signs and symptoms of pain or discomfort. I understand the importance of proper nutrition and availability of fresh water. I'm a unique pet/house sitter in that I travel in my beautiful Canadian Roadtrek Campervan and can house "watch" while taking care of your pets. I do not need to stay in your home. Any additional duties other than "watch" your house can be negotiated- like water a few houseplants, etc. I do ask that you provide a household electric (120V) outside plug in. My small RV uses approx. $2-$3 per day of electricity. I love animals. I have a 3 yr. old yellow Labrador myself! I travel often in my RV and we make great travel partners often stopping at dog parks 2-3 times a day on our adventures. Beau would love to have playmates! Currently I am mobile and spend Summers in WI and Winters in AZ. I will come to you. I can stay as long as you need for your pet care - up to 2+ weeks if needed. I can only provide mobile pet/house sitting. I am unable to pet sit in the home I live in. I am a recently retired nurse. I am trained not only in human CPR, but I also have dog and cat CPR training. I have given pets medication, induced vomiting -per instructions while on the phone with a vet tech (after dog ate 1 1/2 lbs of bing cherries - pits and all. Happy ending! :). When I go into a home I find myself scanning countertops and floors for potential hazards for pets - things like medications, foods, hot boiling water on stovetop with handles pointing out, etc... I am constantly monitoring for potential dangers. Sometimes things happen though, unfortunately, that can't be avoided and that's when first aid, CPR, poison control line, and Vet info need to all be available and handy. I ask that all instructions be written down and text/emailed to me 24 hours prior. That way if I have any questions, they can be answered before you leave on your relaxing worry-free vacation!

About: I have always had a deep love for animals in my l life! I have lived with cats and dogs my entire life—they’ve always been a part of me! Growing up, I always wanted to be a veterinarian so that I could care for animals because that’s how much I love them! I have taken care of dogs and cats on and off over the past 13 years of my life through my best friend’s dog and cat sitting business, as well as owning my own pets. I’ve dealt with all sizes of dogs. About: We grew up with pets and we have a pet loving family. We have a German wirehair pointer dog, cat and raise rabbits for showing. We also volunteer at a local goat farm and help take care of goats. I work full time out of the home, Monday-Friday, so your dog will be kenneled while we are at work. Unless it’s summer or holiday then my schedule may be different. I will do morning walks and night walks and playtime outside after and before work. We have an unfenced large yard so your pet will be leashed for playtime. We have a nice larger private backyard so plenty of space for exercise.

I work remotely so if need be I can come work at your place if I need to stay for awhile. I can also stop in at flexible times throughout the day and night when need be. About: I have had dogs and cats all my life. We welcome your fur baby to our Home Away From Home! My family and I will care for and love your fur baby while you are away. Whether it be overnight, drop ins or going for walks, we will care for your pet with love! Your pet will love it here as we have many acres to explore, walk and play fetch with a ball or toy. About: The two loves of my life were my dog, Abby, and my dog Bronx. Abby was a Siberian husky and Bronx a 15” lemon beagle. Bronx was part of my life for 20 years and just recently passed. I honestly can’t imagine a life without animals in it, and one day I wanna be able to reflect back on my life, knowing that I did as much as I could to help as many animals as possible, which is why becoming a part of ROVER is so appealing. I have an incredibly flexible work schedule that will enable me to schedule my work hours around my hours caring for animals. I truly believe that animals are every bit as important as we are, and I think pet owners will be able to rest easy, leaving their pets in my care, knowing that their health and safety will be of the utmost importance to me! I have a two-story condo that they would be able to spend most of their time in with me. I also have a heated garage that I’ve converted into a safe and comfortable area for animals to play in. In addition to that, I live in Woodbury, literally surrounded by parks, full of walking paths that will be ideal for a dogs exercise. One thing I would like pet owners to know is that I’m not doing this for the money, I’m doing this because I’m newly single and alone and can’t think of anybody better to spend my time with than animals in need. About: When I was little I used to tell people I lived in a Zoo and though it often felt that way with 4 dogs, 2 cats, a bird and rabbits it was not a reality (maybe one day ;) .) I have been caring for animals since I could hold a leash from walking and feeding dogs to trimming cat nails.
