About: Hello, I’ve had animals all my life, grew up with 2 dogs and 2 cats. I have been taking care of family pets and my own pets since I was 10 years old. I am currently a mom of 2 cats, one is 11 and the other one is an 11 month old kitten. One of my part time jobs is taking care of individual with a disability and he loves to take his therapy dog (boarder collie mix) on a lot of walks and to the dog park. I have lots of energy myself and will love your pet as much as both of mine! I’m currently working part time so I will have plenty of time to take care of your pets, I’m around most weekends if needed. Typically I don’t work past 2pm and can do early mornings before 7am. I have plenty of space for my cats to run around including window beds and cat trees around the house. My cats are allowed outside in a harness.

I carefully follow any instructions provided, including dietary needs, medication, or specific routines, to keep pets comfortable and stress-free. “Everyone has hesitation when allowing someone into their home. I was also fearful of my dog, border collie, being unfriendly due to her previous behavior. I am so happy and grateful that Melissa made us feel at ease. She let our dog slowly come to her and made her feel at ease, which truly was a fear of mine. She was patient and calm with her. I thought my dog was going to bite her because she is so defensive. I highly recommend the greet and meet for your dog before hand. Seeing them together before we left the next weekend made me feel more comfortable. I am highly recommending Melissa as your caretaker while you are gone. We received photos and videos to see their interactions. She spent time with her. She didnt just come over and let her out and left. She sat in the grass with her petting her, all on video. She suggested it and I am glad she did. I felt like she was my neice so comfortable and warm. Don't hesitate your dog will be happy to not be alone and Melissa is excellent! Dog sitting is my full time job, so I am able to tend to your pup(s) consistently and provide a clean and safe home environment. Stays are limited to just 4 few spots, in my quiet, spacious home. Pups have unlimited access to my huge fenced in yard, with plenty of new smells and places to explore! I do not crate them unless it is necessary for meal times, rest, etc. They will be treated like family while they are here, with social time as well as one on one attention. If your pup matches with the group, they will have lots of play time to burn off their excess energy too! I will also send pictures and videos, as much as your heart desires, so you can be at ease that your dog is happy while you are away! My business is also privately insured.
