“Cav and his wife took great care of our sweet Parsley while we were in Luray for a quick family getaway this past weekend. They showed us the area where Parsley would be staying, safe and clean with little white boards for each doggy detailing their needs (they had only one other canine customer at the time that Parsley was there). Their land is beautiful and they sent us pictures of Parsley while she was enjoying her time with them. Cav and his wife are kind and professional humans who are clearly committed to taking care of the dogs staying with them. We will be back!”

About: I have been a vet assistant for 8 years, I now stay at home with my 1 year daughter and 4 dogs. We have chickens and a horse as well. We are big animal lovers of any kind. I'm a stay at home mom, I'm open all day and can come to your house or the pet can come to mine. We are very open to any schedule. We have a 6 foot private fence, and we have 4 dogs that are friendly with anyone and everyone. We also go to the dog park for more exercise with them as weather depends.

“Taking on a totally unknown dog from a cross-country road trip, IS a risk. We knew our senior dog Ginger would likely be stressed: 1st from the trip, and 2nd to be left with a stranger, in an unfamiliar environment. Linda really seems to love the dogs, she had 1-2 fosters there when we arrived (not sure, as I think I only saw 1). While I'm sure it was hard on both of them, we do sincerely appreciate her taking on our dog for a few hours, so that we could attend the wedding of an old family friend. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. To find the fastest available match, message multiple sitters with a recent "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
