About: Hello pet parents of wonderful pups and kitties of all shapes and sizes! 🐾 My name is Alexa, and I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life: dogs, cats, and even jellyfish (yes, really - I used to care for them in a marine biology research lab during my undergraduate at Penn State!). I've personally owned three dogs and three cats over the years, including my current family pets: a sweet German Shepherd named Willow and a spunky tortoiseshell cat, Hazel. I’ve cared for pets both big and small, from a 100-pound shepherd to a tiny 17-year old yorkie named Harley. As a remote project manager in kidney disease research, I have the flexibility to provide consistent, responsive care. In 2023, I spent extended periods of time in Virginia caring for the sweetest pets, Ellie (a golden retriever) and Harley (the yorkie), and I regularly help friends and family with pet care. Since I’m staying put in Pennsylvania for the next few months, I’ve decided to officially open up my availability on Rover again! I’m also an avid hiker and trail runner, so if your dog has energy to burn, I’m more than happy to help with that! Whether your pet enjoys long walks, quiet companionship, or a structured routine, I’m happy to adjust to their style and needs. I’m available for drop-in visits, dog walking, and cat care. I do not offer boarding or care in my own home at this time. I’m comfortable with senior pets and pets who need a little extra TLC. As a project manager, I understand how important communication is. I’ll provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident that your pet is happy, safe, and loved. I can’t wait to meet your furry family member! I am a full-time remote project manager, so I have a relatively flexible routine. My meetings are mostly from 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM ET, but I have the availability to step outside to take a walk, feed animals, etc.. I take safety, trust, and respect very seriously when caring for pets in a client’s home. While living on my own in Virginia, I cared for two dogs, one of whom was a senior with special needs, for extended periods, treating their home as if it were my own. I maintain a clean and calm environment, follow all care instructions closely, and make sure pets feel secure and loved in their familiar space. Your pet’s safety is always my top priority. I make sure to familiarize myself with local veterinary clinics, emergency contacts, and any specific care instructions before starting any visit. I believe preparation is key to providing dependable, responsible care, and I’m always just a message away with updates and photos to keep you in the loop.

About: I’ve taken care of all different kinds of animals for 7 plus years. Friends, family, and past employers have relied on me to care for their pets. I’ll treat your pets like my own! I love animals and it is a true passion to be able to care for them. I am a new stay at home Mom. My schedule is open and can easily align with your needs. I am flexible to work with different schedules as needed. I currently have two of my own dogs. I have fostered many other dogs and cats. I walk them every day and have a set schedule for them. In the past, I have cared for many animals, fostered animals, and have taken in animals that are strays and have rehomed them to good homes.

About: I have vast experience working with many different animals, and one of my greatest strengths is helping make the animals I work with feel comfortable. I am certain that I could do the same with your animals too! Specifically, the animals that I work with range from box turtles, cats, small dogs, and large dogs. I am currently a student at Capital University, but I am willing to squeeze in time on my breaks and during the summer to walk and/or take care of your fur babies for whenever you need!! I have a very flexible schedule and would be willing to work with you in order to meet your pet's needs! My services include house sitting, dog walking, and drop-in visits. You give me a time and place and I'll be there for your fur baby!

About: I have taken care of cats nearly my entire life and have grown up with them in my house. I have two dogs now in my adulthood that I care for. I currently work full time, but my schedule if flexible. I can usually make your schedule for pet care work around mine! I am very excited to help care for your fur baby! I will not be able to care for your animals in my own home, however I am veery excited to care for them in yours!

About: I had a dog all through my teenage years, ages 7-19. I also have helped taken care of my friends and families pets to walk, feed and play with them. I am currently working full time but still have plenty of time to take care of your dog! My work schedule isn’t a typical M-F so please feel free to talk to me so we can work out the best time! Your dog will never be unsupervised and there are no other pets in my home. I do have an open yard that depending on each dog, we can play there!

About: I’m a full time certified veterinary technician! So I have experience with all different breeds, ages, and personalities of dogs and cats! Before going to college, I would often pet sit for family and friends when needed. Because of my job, I know how to give medications, injections, trim nails, express anal glands, etc. I have a B.S. in veterinary nursing and recently passed the state board to become certified. I have 3 Australian Cattle Dogs - Bentley, Beau, and Scout. And also 3 cats - Josie, Luca, and Finn! I currently work full time during the week. I have off on Tuesdays and weekends. I could easily stop in after work other days during the week however. I’m more than willing to take the time to leash walk all dogs in the house if you don’t have a fenced in yard. Just let me know what works best for them!

About: I've had dogs my entire life and absolutely love taking care of them! I am a full time stay at home mom. I'm available anytime. I love taking walks and we go to parks and walks all the time so the dogs would get plenty of exercise. They will be well taken care of and loved. I can give baths if needed, will also brush the dogs. Absolutely love getting to play with dogs and have them running around and enjoying their time outside! I'm pretty flexible on times and what all would need to be done. I am willing to travel to your house and walk the dogs, feed and water them as needed and anything else that needs to be done to care for your dog. This just has to be done at certain times. I have three kids, 8, 6, and 1 they absolutely love animals as well and are nice to the dogs! We live in a small mobile home park and dogs are allowed so no worries there. I can watch the dog while you're on vacation or however, whenever is needed if I get some notice! I am a stay at home mom so I'm home all day almost every day. I can take them outside to play a lot too. I don't have a fenced yard so dogs would be leashed and will get long walks. They will get toys inside as well to play with and fed and watered as requested. Im a stay at home mama so i have plenty of time to play and take care of your pups!! I also have 3 little helpers to run out some of their energy! I don't have a fenced yard so they will be leashed but there is a dog park very close to me that's fenced in and i am more than happy to take them there and run out some energy!

About: I have been caring for dogs my whole life! I have raised, cared for, and trained all types of dogs from teacup Pomeranians to Great Danes. I’ll treat your fur baby like one of my own❤️ I am a dog mama myself and I know how important it is to know that your fur baby is in good hands while you’re away. I am available most weekdays from 9-5pm but I’m pretty flexible. If there is a specific date you are interested in feel free to ask me! I am able to play with your pet indoors or outdoors per request. I am able to spend time with your pet as well in addition to feeding or caring for them. It is important to me that your furry friend has a great experience as well while you’re away. About: Dogs are people too! Do you need some time away without worrying about your best friend? We all do! Whether for a day, a weekend or longer, I am available to give you peace of mind when leaving your pet. I always stressed about putting my dogs in the kennel when going on vacation. And one day I thought other pet owners must feel this way, as well! So I put an ad on Craigslist 20 years ago and started dog sitting! I loved it and so did my dogs. I have had several, repeat clients. I moved out of that area 4 years ago and now live between Watsontown and Muncy. I would love to offer my home to keep your small to medium dog or large female dog. We have a sweet male Rottweiler that loves play dates. He is gentle with all dogs including small dogs. We have a mature, peaceful country home where your dog will be happy, safe and treated like one of the family. We have no roads or streets or neighbors to worry about. I am available to travel to your home in the Muncy-Watsontown area, as well. I am active, healthy and would love to give you that peace of mind while you are away. Lots of love, at-a-boys and personal interaction. I work 35 hours a week sometimes in the office and sometimes at home but I have great flexible hours during the day. My weekends are completely free. I miss dog sitting and would love to get back at it. Your dog is welcome to stay at our house or I can come to your house. Please do not hesitate to schedule a meet and greet before deciding! I work 35 hours a week but I split my time between the office and home during the week. My time is flexible and I can easily work around your dogs schedule. I live in the woods on 6.5 acres with no roads or close neighbors to worry about. Your dog would be kept on a leash never-the-less. I would offer lots of love and at-a-boys with plenty of exercise and lots of personal attention. In your home I would be most respectful of your property and your dog will look forward to seeing me every time. My schedule is very flexible and I can take my dog to the office if I need to be there. It lifts moral in the office and my co workers love to spoil and pet and walk and fuss over my Rover dogs but only when my doggie-clients enjoy the office atmosphere. I will treat your home with the utmost respect. I am trustworthy and understand when your dog is most comfortable and happy at their own home. If your dog is at my house they will get the best love and I will treat them with the most kindness because it’s scarey for them to be away from their family and be in a new place. I promise you they will be treated gently and kind so they are not afraid and will be happy, content and look forward to coming back.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs every kind for 10+years. Friends, families, neighbors they have all relied on me to take care of their pets and still it’s really not like a job but a dream. I currently don’t work , so I am available literally 24 seven to take care of pets of all kinds except Sundays but text or call at anytime. I have a big yard away from the highways I live in the country and I have two friendly dogs to keep company with any kind of other pet visitors we might have.

About: I adopted my first dog, Fox, when he was 8 weeks old back in 2016. I adopted my second dog, Dana, back in 2019 from a rescue center in Benton PA. Dana was displaced in a hurricane in South Carolina, and was brought to PA by the rescue. I am passionate about all animals, especially dogs, and absolutely love every dog I meet. Everywhere I go, if there is a dog, you better believe I’m going to ask to give it some love! I volunteer at the rescue in Benton, and have also donated to other local shelters in the past. I currently work from home and am able to do drop in visits throughout the day. Every other week, my dogs are with their dad (we share custody) so for a week at a time I can care for dogs in my home 24/7. My pets are with me all day unless I am at one of my children’s sporting events. My dogs are taken out about 5 times a day for potty time and walks. I have an outdoor kennel, a 12 foot lead, and will soon have a fenced in yard. My dogs are always on a leash for safety as I live right on a state road.

About: I’ve taken care of animals for at least 13 years. I have done many in-house sittings. I have also walked and fed dogs and cat for many of my friends and family. I currently work full-time. My schedule is hybrid, which means I WFH 3 days a week and I’m in the office 2 days. I usually can move my schedule around to make visits. I cannot do middle of the day visits during the week, but I’m always willing to modify times or work with a pet owner to make sure their pets are getting the care they need. I have a big yard and a lead to take dogs outside. I live in the country so walks are a must around here. If I’m at a clients home, whatever directions are there I will follow them to ensure your pet is cared for with love and a friendly face.

About: Growing up on a farm, compassion for animals and taking extra step for their care was instilled in me from a very young age. I have years of experience of animal care from dogs to horses. I have two of my own who enjoy their life in our 60 acre farm with ample room to run a play. I am a full time horse trainer and live on the same farm. With being a business owner my hours are incredibly flexible giving me availability for walks during the day as well as check ins through out the day or at night as well. Working from home gives me the advantage for boarding dogs to me outside with me in the barns while I work, giving them constant stimulation.

About: Growing up I’ve always been around dogs. Taking care of them has been in my daily routine since I can remember. Throughout my high school years I dog sat frequently which allowed me to get experience with all types of breeds. I am currently a college student & miss having animals in my daily life & will care for your pets like they are my own. In the summers I am a giraffe attendant at a wildlife park & my past two years at school I have worked at a dairy farm. I am currently a student at Delaware Valley University. I am also a student athlete, I run cross country & track & field. So my schedule varies weekly. But I have lots of flexibility to make visits. I will treat all pets like they are my own.
