I went out of town for the first time since bringing her home and was so relieved when I found Shanie because she seemed to have so much experience and I knew I could trust her to take good care of both my cats, but especially Tony. She sent me pictures and videos and super detailed updates twice a day and even went above and beyond when she stopped by to give the cats extra pets one day when she was nearby checking on a different pet. About: I've raised pets (dogs and cats) for most of my adult life and would love to care for yours while you're away! With me, your precious furry family members will get the love and care they deserve, and I'll stay in frequent contact with (texts/calls/pics) you about their care. I've been away or on vacation and employed pet sitters in the past, and I know how reassuring that frequent communication is! I am retired and have no strict obligations that would keep me from sticking to any care schedule you need. Over the course of my work life, I've adapted to about every time and day schedule possible - weekends/late nights/early mornings are no problem! I have a reliable two-year old car, and am very experienced using any modern technology necessary if anything unexpected happened (Google Maps/Hailing an Uber/Anything smartphone related, etc) I understand how important it is to meet your expectations regarding the care of your animals and I will do whatever it takes, and I will treat your home with the utmost respect.

About: I have taken care of all different kinds of dogs from sizes and breeds since I was a kid. Throughout my life I’ve had several dogs all types of different breeds and sizes, from a mastiff to a miniature poodle. So, I have lots experience in dealing with dogs in different ranges with breed,size, and age. I also have experience with cats, hedgehogs, guinea pigs, and hamsters. I am working full time currently, I am off on the weekends unless and normally completely free these days. I work during the day most days. I usually work evenings one day out of the week,tuesdays. I am very flexible outside of my time with work! I currently have a dog and 3 cats. With my dog we feed him in the morning and evening, throughout the day I usually play with my dog let him out to go potty, and a couple walks throughout the day to keep them moving. I also feed my cats morning and night and play with them throughout the day and clean their litter box in the evening.

About: I have worked with and cared for all kinds of animals including dogs, cats, birds, and common fish. I have been pet sitting for various neighbors and family friends over the years, and I’ve loved every minute of it. Also, I own a special needs dog, so I have a fair understanding of dogs who need a little extra care! I work part time as a non medical caregiver in various clients homes in northwest Indiana. This means my schedule differs from day to day, but I often have breaks during the day between clients. This means I’ll have the means to pop in to take care of your precious animals. While I won’t be boarding in my own home, I am very used to tending to people and animals in their own homes. Every client of mine will receive nothing but the best in terms of safety, trust, and maintaining a nice environment!

About: I've grown up living with dogs and have been the primary trainer for my family's dogs. I do pretty well working with new pets and can handle full size dogs. I'm an engineer who gets home from work around 4 or 5PM. My weekends are empty 3/4 weekends a month. I can do overnights on Sunday and during the work week if your dog is used to being alone 9-5. I have a small yard, and live next to the beach. I typically walk my dog to the beach 2-3 times a day on the weekend and she swims often. I usually use a harness to walk dogs, never leave them unattended outside since I have no fence. Make sure they have food twice a day and water always full.

About: I have two crazy fun Wheaten Terriers so I am experienced with high energy pups. Their ages are 8 and 11. I call him my sour patch pup, one minute he is the sweetest thing in the world and the next he is opening the fridge getting out a Tupperware (no clue how he learned that!) I have always had dogs and can't imagine life without our furry friends. I have a love and passion for animals so what better way to spend time and make some extra spending money?! I work Monday through Friday with flexibility for easier scheduling. Weekends are available for walking and drop in visits. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask! My schedule is Monday through Friday with flexibility to be able to schedule dog walks and visits throughout the day. I can also do evenings/weekends. I will follow any instructions left for your pet and give them the best care possible. My dogs are crate trained so I am familiar with that process.

About: I have always loved pet sitting, especially throughout college. I can do the basics such as walking, taking out for potty breaks, and feeding. I think the best care I can give is when I can go above and beyond the basics. Being able to love and care for your pet while you are away is something I aim for! I’m an elementary school teacher on summer break so I have open availability to watch your furry friend. We’ll soak up the summer sun together! I do have a nice small yard (fenced) and a fur baby to keep your pet company. I can easily crate your pet if needed during the day or at night.

About: I have owned pets most of my life and enjoy spending time with them. I lost my elderly dogs this year after 14 years with them. At this point, I have not decided if I will own another pet again in the near future so I would love to spend some time with yours! I work during the day but live close and could come home for mid day walks if I am boarding. Or I can do short ins during the day. Otherwise, I am home in the evenings and weekends. I do live in a pet friendly community and enjoy taking long walks. I especially love playful pets with lots of energy! I have experience with mostly small and medium sized dogs. I have also had cats in the past and would consider boarding them or doing check ins.
