About: As a lifelong animal lover who has always shared my home with pets, I understand how important it is to know your dog is in caring and attentive hands. Your dog will be lovingly cared for and closely supervised on our peaceful 8-acre property, complete with a beautiful creek and plenty of space to explore. We provide lots of toys and treats to keep your dog happy and engaged, and our friendly miniature schnauzer enjoys making new canine friends (after a little welcoming bark or two!). Our free-ranging chickens also add an extra bit of entertainment and curiosity for visiting dogs. You can feel confident that your dog will be safe, comfortable, and well cared for in our cozy home, where they will receive plenty of attention, affection, and fun throughout their stay. I am home full-time after retiring from a 30-year career in corporate IT, which allows me to devote my full attention to caring for dogs providing constant supervision, companionship, and personalized care, ensuring your dog receives the attention, affection, and exercise they deserve. We have a spacious 8-acre property with long, groomed walking paths where dogs can explore and enjoy the outdoors, typically leashed for safety. Our back property is exceptionally private, featuring wide, flat open fields with no immediate neighbors and located well away from the road, providing a peaceful and secure environment. We also have a fenced play area where dogs can safely enjoy off-leash play and exercise. Inside, dogs are treated as part of the family and are welcome throughout our roomy and comfortable home. At night, they can relax and sleep in cozy dog beds located in quiet spare rooms, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and right at home during their stay.

About: I have been a pet owner for 30+ years (currently own no pets) and a pet sitter from the 80's and 90's when it was new to have someone in your house taking care of pets while traveling. I am new to Wayne County, after living in Delaware County, PA for 50 years. I am looking for a part time work from home job, but in the meantime thought I could fill my days with dog lovin. I miss having my own pet, so loving and caring for others would be a great fit. My home is spacious, with plenty of room to play, sleep and be crated (if necessary). I live on 2 acres, with access to 10k+ acres of woods out my back door. There is plenty of walking and exploring to do out my back door.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and been around them my whole life. Growing up we had five dogs of different breeds and sizes and that is what cemented my passion for animals. I work from home so I have ample time to do whatever is needed for our furry friends. The yard is big enough for everyone to run around and play. I also have a park not too far a walk from my house. I work from home and am able to care for your buddy around the clock. There are no children in my home but always a buddy or two. I love dogs and make sure they each feel welcomed loved and cared for. My fenced yard lets us play and run with no worries of escaping or getting lost. Outdoor time is always supervised or accompanied! There are a lot of soft cozy spots to hang out. My couch is protected by one of many covers that is rotated through the days so dirty paws or accidents aren’t that big a deal. Speaking of dirty paw, my Bissell wet dry vac has to clock in to work at LEAST twice a day! Lol

About: ** I took a break from Rover, but I’m happy to be back and excited to offer pet care again! (Est. Jan ‘26) 🐾✨ I bring over 5 years of hands-on experience from working at a local dog daycare, caring for dogs of all ages and personalities. I’m by no means a trainer, but have worked with one, and am comfortable training puppies on basic commands and have experience providing gentle, attentive care for senior dogs as well. I treat every dog like my own and always strive to make them feel safe, happy, and loved. I regularly dog sit for friends and family, so caring for animals is already built into my routine. I also currently have a crew of my own — 3 dogs (just welcomed a puppy in Dec. 2025) & have a flock of 24 chickens! As I continue using Rover, I’m excited to grow this into something more consistent, with the goal of potentially offering pet care full time in the future. Animals truly are a big part of my everyday life 🖤🐾 I’m able to be home and present, so pets get lots of attention, playtime, and care throughout the day.
