“My pup is a senior dog with limited vision and hearing. Stephanie was great with Daizie in helping her adjust to a new environment. She kept me posted throughout the weekend on how my “ole” lady was doing. Will definitely book with her again.”

“Teigan was a perfect caregiver for our little guy, Henry. She sent pictures and updates throughout our week-long trip and spoiled him rotten! Definitely would use her again!”

“Aisha was great. She was flexible with drop off and pick up times. She sent us pictures of our dogs every day that we were gone. She goes above and beyond to make you feel good about leaving your pet with her! I would definitely trust her to watch my dogs again in the future!”

“Gus came home exhausted! He came home just as he was dropped off. Her kids hugged on Gus before we left which can only make me think they loved on him and treated him as their own. This was our first use of Rover and we will more than likely use it again. Gus hasn’t ever really been around other dogs and she allowed him to adjust and said he did great with them. Highly recommend and will use her again in the future.”

“Stephen was amazing with our grandpups. They were super happy to see him after the meet & greet. Our babies are can be shy and not accept people quickly. They both took right away. Will definitely book with them again 😀”

“Nina was amazing. Tucker had a lot of fun with her. I’m sure he enjoyed a lot playing with her big and sweet dogs. She sent me pictures and was very responsive. And besides that he got home worn out, meaning that he burned a lot of his energy.”

“Lauren and her sweet family took the best care of my German Shepherd. Daily walks and pictures sent to me was a comfort. I'd never left her before and I was away for a week. I would definitely come back to Lauren.”

“Chloe was the absolute best sitter we could have ever asked for. She truly cares about the fur babies she is caring for. She kept in contact with us sending messages and pictures. We had a stressful situation that led to her watching Lizzy and she went over and above just babysitting, she made having to leave her for 3 days and 2 nights easier. She will always be our go to if we ever need a sitter again.”

“Teddy loves to go play at Donavon’s!! He sends pictures to show his brightest smiles. Also, Donavon is accommodating to our needs as well as Teddy’s. I have recommended him to All my friends!!”

About: I have owned dogs before I could even read. I have always loved dogs and have cared for a large variety of dogs, whether that be age, size, gender, or breed. I have such a love for dogs, I’ve considered becoming a dog trainer ever since I was a child. I’m not currently working, so I’m very flexible with reservations. Just let me know ahead of time and I can be very flexible with you! I remain consistent in their daily routines, especially for potty breaks. I am a huge advocate for positive reinforcement training, so I will make sure the dogs are recognized for doing good.
“Ashley took great care of my two dogs at her kennel. The only thing I would mention is that I had assumed she was watching them at her house when I booked her, but it was really where she is a groomer, so the dogs were kept in a kennel except during play & potty breaks. There were several other animals there. You could tell Ashley loves animals & they did great in her care.”

“Layne watched my Tyler (cat) for several evenings and provided daily pictures/updates on how he was doing!! She was friendly and professional and made the entire process very easy. Glad Tyler had a good place to stay!!! I would definitely recommend.”

“Samantha was THE BEST sitter I've ever had! I could tell in the daily pictures she sent of my dog that she was so happy and well cared for! I will definitely use Samantha in the future! Thank you again!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Oronogo
Stephanie watched our Miniature Schnauzer, Lily Belle, for five days. First time our girl has been boarded with someone other than family. From the first day we met Stephanie and her daughter's I knew Lily Belle would be in good hands. We dropped her off ona Tuesday evening and picked her up on the following Saturday evening. During those days Stephanie was great about keeping in touch with text messages and pictures. Her last picture was of Lily and her cat laying together, which is never thought would happen. I can only say if you want your pet cared for like they were home with you, you can't go wrong with Stephanie. We will definitely rebook.

- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
