Growing up with dogs has instilled a deep understanding of canine behavior, while my feline companions have given me unique insights into the needs and quirks of our feline friends. This combined experience allows me to cater to both dogs and cats with the utmost love, attention, and care. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. About: I have owned and cared for pets my entire life. I'm recently retired from a long career as a professional equestrian and horse trainer, and I'm excited to begin this journey of offering pet care services to the community! I have experience with all types and ages of pets ... from very young to very senior. I have experience administering medications, giving injections, and basic first aid. My lifestyle is active, and I'm happy to provide whatever exercise that your pet needs, whether that is a long trail hike, or simply walks around the neighborhood. And lots of love and snuggles of course :) I also have extensive horse experience, and limited experience with other livestock, and I'm happy to provide services for those animals as well. I currently work from home and have an extremely flexible schedule, which allows me to work around whatever your pet care needs are. I have a reliable 4 wheel drive vehicle, so I can get to some of the further out Nevada County destinations no problem. I pride myself on being punctual, organized and reliable, and you can rest assured that your pet(s) and home will receive attentive and loving care. I am happy to take care of any additional tasks that you might need around your home while you're away (checking mail, taking out trash, watering plants/garden, etc. )

About: I have extensive hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. I run a 501(c)(3) dog rescue, regularly transport dogs, care for puppies, seniors, and special-needs dogs, administer medications, work on basic training, leash manners, and provide structured, loving care tailored to each pet’s needs. Pet care fits seamlessly into my schedule because animals are already a central part of my daily life. I work from home and plan my days around feeding schedules, walks, medications, enrichment, and individualized care. This flexibility allows me to be reliable, responsive, and fully present for each pet. I have 2 600+ feet plus areas for dogs to run and play. We have a building for them to sleep cozy, clean and safe.

I'm trained as a professional pet nutrition advocate and have experience not just feeding all the pets but truly healing thru nutrition with everything from making whole foods and supplements, to designing recipes and diets, including the treats, to training and socializing dogs of all ages and backgrounds. I've built my schedule around pet care including making the foods and minimum 2 walks a day. I'm happy to make time for the pets anytime! About: Offering a safe home away from home, compassionate care, and peace of mind for pet owners is something that all pet sitters should be offering. I go far beyond this standard providing both care and training. Since I was a child, dogs and cats have gravitated toward me and I've always enjoyed their companionship; you can almost always find me with at least one dogs around. It's never been an unruly mass of teeth and paws though; I've always taken the time to teach my furry friends to walk on leash, to have immediate recall, to be polite in kitchen, and to use their voices kindly. I do the same with every animal that I am given care of, gently coaching them to be civil, furry companions while showering them with love. I am currently working from home and set my own schedule. I have a set daily morning and evening walk which your pup(s) will join. During the day, you pup(s) will have company of two dogs, three cats and plenty of pets from me. On weekends we go on adventure hikes. I have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company during the day. I have crates, leashes, grooming tools and home made dog beds for all pet care needs.

About: I had 3 dogs and 2 cats growing up which I helped to take care of and I’ve worked at a doggy day care company walking and training dogs I’m currently free during the week every day but Wednesday’s. I can do boarding any time and while I’m busy I can leave the dog in my yard which is fenced and very safe, and normally my roommates (who like pets) are around to check in on the dog if I have to leave for a little I have a large fenced front yard and a separate fenced backyard with a pond, plants and lots of space to roam around! I am in a very walkable area and will walk the dogs regularly, or can take them to the beach or a park if they are ok to be in the car. I will never put your dog in a crate and will give them lots of freedom to wander around and relax in my home.
