I also have experience dealing with dogs with anxiety, and am well-equipped to help your dog be comfortable while in my care. On top of all of this, I have many years of experience as a dog walker for clients all over West Michigan. I have a very flexible work-from-home job, which allows me to curate my schedule to fit your pets’ needs. I can easily adjust my schedule to meet any feeding, potty, and walk schedule! I will connect with you prior to starting the service to talk about the specific needs of your pet, and what kinds of things may need special attention. If they are coming to my home, your pet will be safe and sound in my house with my two dogs, and will be watched with care. About: Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I currently have three dogs, all of whom I brought home at eight weeks old and personally raised and trained. Caring for dogs isn’t just something I enjoy—it’s a lifelong passion. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and temperaments, from Chihuahuas to Pit Bulls to Alaskan Malamutes and everything in between. Over the years, I have provided pet care for neighbors, friends, colleagues, and clients, and I understand the importance of treating every dog with patience, kindness, and individualized care. While working as a home health care aide, I was often entrusted with caring for my clients’ pets, ensuring they were fed, exercised, and comfortable while their owners received care. I am fully comfortable handling all aspects of daily dog care, including feeding, walking, potty breaks, enrichment, and playtime. My flexible schedule allows me to be home for most of the day throughout the week, as well as on weekends, providing consistent supervision and companionship. I also have the option to work from home when additional attention or frequent potty breaks are needed. In my household, pets are rarely left alone for extended periods. On typical days when I am away from home, my dogs are alone no longer than 5–6 hours. In many cases, my boyfriend may be home when I am not, and when both of us are working, we are generally away for no more than 4–5 hours at a time. If both of us are expected to be away for longer than two hours during a pet’s care period, I communicate this in advance to ensure transparency and appropriate planning. I maintain a consistent but flexible routine that prioritizes feeding, hydration, exercise, and enrichment. Dogs always have access to fresh water and are fed twice daily (or as often as your individual dog requires). Potty breaks are provided frequently based on each dog’s individual needs and cues; however, I am more than willing to follow a more structured schedule if that is what your pet is accustomed to. I am also experienced with administering medications, including monthly heartworm and flea prevention, and take great care to ensure all medications are given accurately and on time. While my household follows a generally relaxed routine, I understand that many pets thrive on structure. I am fully comfortable adhering to detailed instructions and incorporating established routines into my daily care. During the days I am available according to my Rover schedule, I am home for the majority of the day. Any brief absences are typically limited to short appointments, during which my boyfriend may assist with supervision, or pets will be safely confined if appropriate. Above all, I prioritize safety, supervision, and communication. Your pet will never be left without attentive care. Whether in my home or yours, I ensure consistent supervision, engagement, and affection so that every animal feels secure, comfortable, and well cared for throughout their time with me. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my highest priorities. I share my home with three friendly dogs, each with their own unique personality: an energetic and affectionate Boston Terrier, a more reserved but sweet Boston Terrier, and a laid-back Chihuahua who enjoys staying close by. They are well-socialized and can provide companionship for visiting dogs when appropriate. My home is set up to accommodate a variety of needs and routines. I have three individual crates with comfortable bedding available for dogs who are crate trained or require confinement, and you are always welcome to bring your own crate if it helps your pet feel more at home. While my own dogs enjoy free access to the house and are allowed on the furniture, I am happy to follow your pet’s established rules and routines, including using gates or designated areas if needed. Although my yard is not physically fenced, safety is always a top priority. My dogs are never outdoors unsupervised, and the same standard of care applies to every pet I watch. I have a large, open yard that provides plenty of space for exercise, and I regularly walk dogs on a leash around the property and in the neighborhood. If your dog is most comfortable on a leash or tie-out while outside, I am more than happy to accommodate those preferences. All of my dogs are current on their vaccinations and receive routine veterinary care. I pay close attention to changes in their health, behavior, and overall well-being, and I bring that same level of attentiveness to every pet in my care. If I am caring for your pet in your home, I will treat both your home and your companion with the utmost respect. I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding, medications, exercise, training, household rules, and daily routines to ensure your pet experiences as little disruption as possible while you are away. At bedtime, I am happy to follow whatever sleeping arrangement your pet is accustomed to, whether that means sleeping in a crate, on their own bed, or sharing a room with me. My goal is to maintain their normal routine so they feel secure and comfortable. My boyfriend and I live together, but I will be your pet’s primary caregiver. He may occasionally assist if I need to step away briefly, providing additional supervision and support, but all communication and primary care responsibilities remain with me. For added peace of mind, I am certified in Dog and Cat First Aid and CPR. You can trust that your pet will receive attentive, compassionate, and responsible care throughout their stay.

About: I grew up with cat and dogs, mostly inside cats, and a lot of kittens. I also have grown up with dogs, taking them for many for walks. I love all animals and treating them like family. I am a retired veteran who takes special care with the needs of your fur babies. Whether that means staying in your home or doing drop-ins, I am available. About: I’ve grown up with dogs and have experience training large breed rescues for service and emotional support. I’ve had two senior rescues as part of our family. I work part time from home so I have plenty of time and attention to give your fur babies! I’m available for boarding daily and overnights. About: I am the friends and family dog sitter! I’ve grown up with dogs all my life and I could still pet them for hours and not get bored. On average I stay at someone houses for a week while they’re on vacation as well as but not as often a weekend stay. As well as drop in visits to feed, walk or let pets out to do their business. I am great will all breads and sizes of dogs/cats, as well as ages such as senior animals. I personally took are of our 90lb 11 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback after her back legs gave out. So while using a harness I would help her do everything, such as standing up to eat, move around and go outside. I can also do things like trimming nails and bathing them (especially if you unable to bath them yourself). I truly care and feel for every animal as if they were my own. I’m currently not working full time at the moment and have been doing small jobs here and there such as dog sitting for friends and family. I have a great portion of time for spend getting to know and engaging in your pets. I’m available anytime after 9am. I will care for your pets the way I would care for my own and in such continue their regular and daily routine. Including things such as walking them in the morning/night, playing with them and loving them or any other needed or wanted activities.

About: I am extremely attentive and great at communicating qith you about your loved one so you can have peace of mind while away from your baby. I can easily fot pet care into my rputine being a remote worker. I make my own schedule and it always revolves around pet care. I always make sure animals have everything they could ever want and need. I treat your pet as my own and love them uncondtionally .

About: I can work with dogs that have anxiety and aggressive. And cats too and any other animals. As I love animals of any size big or small Saturday-Sunday I can do anytime Monday-Friday after 2:30pm unless I'm staying in the house sitting and petsitting. Then time doesn't really matter as much then. Environment would be your home as I rent and they don't allow petsitting. Depends if yard is fence area if it is then I will play ball with them.

About: I've always loved working with animals. My family has owned pets that range from large dogs to small kittens. Since I was young, I've grown in experience taking care of farm animals and household pets. Some of my jobs have included training a puppy to do some basic tricks, caring for an older pup in her last days, bathing dogs, playing with cats, long walks with high energy dogs, and cuddles with the low energy ones. I'm currently working as an intern in downtown Grand Rapids. I'm able to work around my flexible schedule to give your pet the care that it needs. Typically, I work all day Thursday, but I'm willing to work with you to fit your schedule best! Since I am in an apartment, I am sadly unable to provide boarding services at my residence. However, I have a car and am more than willing to travel to care for your pet in the comfort of their own home!

About: I moved away from the New England area during the pandemic and came to the Midwest where I didn’t know anyone. Back home, I had friends and family begging me to go on vacation so they could dog sit my dog, but here, without knowing too many people, finding a dog sitter was a really difficult ordeal. Thankfully, Rover and other apps helped, especially when I was able to travel again. I'm looking to help out in the same way this app and others helped me. I live in a large home with my wife Kelly (can't seem to figure out how to add her name but she'll also be helping with sitting), two dog friendly cats, and a very chill dog of our own. Pearl and Boy are our orange kitties and Candy is a 55lb brown lab mix. Candy and I used to be a certified therapy animal team when we had more time on our hands. All three animals love company (mostly human company but other animals are more than welcome, too) so your pet will definitely not be alone while you're away between us five. We do have a fenced-in yard, a dog specific area over the garage and all dogs are welcome to roam the entire house - especially if you also allow that in your home. But if your animal needs their own space, they have the loft, the yard, and various dog beds to decompress throughout the house. The old owners of our home used to be dog breeders and the home came with amenities specifically catered to hosting dogs. While we don’t and won’t breed ourselves, these features of the home make a great dog-friendly home for any pet while you’re away! We both work full time but Kelly is home three days a week and I’m home the other two. Typically my day revolves around when I should take the dogs out anyway. Usually one walk around 7am, another around noon, another around 5 when I get back and one before bed. How we care for your pet will be completely up to you and how you normally care for them. The goal is to keep the disruption of a routine to a minimum while treating your dog to a change of scenery and a new friend

About: I've been raised around all ages of puppies/dogs, use to work at a dog daycare for a few years, took behavior classes, and did nail trimming. Also have done walking at the daycare and also with my own dogs. I have took care of seniors also that have needed medicine I'm a stay at home mom with my baby daughter, 2 dogs Toby and Koda, and my fluffy playful kitten Snooze. I have spaces in my day where I will be able to take care of your furry babies for you while you have to work/trip I do grooming for my dogs and kitten, walk/play with my dogs every day. At night I make sure to give each one alone time with me before bed so they don't get jealous of eachother
