About: Hello! My name is Allison (but I go by Sonny 😊) and I have 6 years of experience working professionally with animals. I began my journey in the pet care industry in 2016 doing pet sitting and dog walking before moving onto my career working at Petco in 2017. I started out doing animal care for the small animals, reptiles, fish and adoptable cats. In 2018 I found my passion when I became a certified Positive Reinforcement Dog trainer and have been training ever since while continuing to do pet sitting and dog walking on the side. About: Iv'e had and taken care of pets my whole life. At one point, I had over 10 pets including chickens, dogs, cats, hamsters, hermit crabs, fish, etc. I honestly could't imagine my life without these cuties. As of right now, I have a very open schedule besides from 9AM-12PM on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays when I have classes at College of San Mateo. I am available early in the mornings, throughout the afternoon, evenings, and even overnight if needed :) I make sure all pets are in a safe environment with safety hazards out of reach and I am fully aware of foods that are toxic to certain animals. I will follow any special safety instructions provided by the owner. If I’m in a client’s home, I make sure doors and gates are properly secured and always supervise pets when necessary. I build trust with both pets and owners by maintaining open communication, providing regular updates, and respecting the pet’s routines. I understand that pets may feel anxious in new environments, so I take the time to earn their trust with patience, positive reinforcement, and gentle interactions. When i'm at a clients home, I strive to create a calm and comfortable environment. This includes providing a clean space, fresh water, appropriate exercise, and plenty of love. I follow any feeding, medication, or training guidelines given by the owner to ensure the pet feels at happy and safe :)

About: I've had animals all of my life. My parents kept getting me more animals because they said as long I was taking good care of them, then I could get more. I would keep journals about their well being( Funny, I know) The point is, I love animals. I have had dogs,puppies, cats, lizards, hamsters, chickens, horses, ferrets, and chameleons, I have 2 dogs of my own and they are my children. It's of the utmost importance to me that any animal under my care feels very loved, and taken care of. I know it can be traumatic being away from your animal, and it can create anxiety. I will do my best to make sure your baby is feeling good and happy! I currently make my own schedule and own my own massage therapy business. The further in advance I know about the sitting job, the more of a chance I will have of being able to clear my schedule for it. My schedule is pretty flexible! I will follow the directions you give me to a T. I know our animals get used to routine, so I will do my best not to disrupt that routine. I am hands on, and want to make sure any animal I care for feels loved and paid attention to.

About: Dogs have been apart of my life since I was 8 years old. Personally I took care of a Boston terrier and that is the only breed that Ive worked with in my house. Other breeds that I’ve had experience with our my neighbors dogs including different types of Pitbulls and huskies. I am very comfortable with larger dog find them to be huge lovers. I am welcome to any size dog i know I can handle and take care of them based on my personal experience with my own pets and neighbors pets. My neighbors pets have been in my life longer than the Boston terrier that we got as a family dog. My family has now had three Boston terriers throughout my lifetime. I am currently a full-time Cal poly Humboldt student, but I have 1 to 2 hour breaks between most of my classes and I’m free in the evenings for dog walking throughout the day. I am currently moved out of my parents house so I don’t have any pets in my home but I have a fenced off backyard and is spacious living area if they need to stay overnight that is OK. I have plenty of places to walk right outside of my home. In the clients home I would be able to do any pet care that they may require or want such as walking be brushing. About: I love taking long walks in the woods, bike riding, and running with pups! If your dog needs a lil extra energy release, (or not) I'm your person. I have no other pets, and will give your dog the attention they deserve. I work in the evenings, so can walk from 10AM-4:00PM WED/THURS/FRI. I always walk anyway, or go for a run, so incorporating a furry friend seems perfect. I have a new(er) pickup truck, that has a plush dog bed in the back for your critter. If they have car-anxiety, I've got a blanket in the cab for them.
