“Kendra was fabulous! She’d give me updates and pictures throughout the weekend. This was my first time leaving Toby with someone outside of family and I couldn’t have picked a better person to trust him with! I’ll definitely be using her again!!”

“Liliana was wonderful with our Luna! She was able to take her for a last minute booking which took so much stress off of us. She sent pictures each day with updates on how Luna was doing. We will definitely be booking again with Liliana!”

“Katie was great. We got pics of our dogs and she spent good quality time with them. Both of our dogs were happy when we picked them up. We are very happy with this service and will leave them with Katie again.”

“Kristen was so great! I was in desperate need and she was able to take my puppy very last minute. She has a big yard and a big house, with plenty of room for dogs to play. She sent regular updates and made me feel so comfortable with leaving my puppy for the first time!! Will be asking her again!”

“Daniel was great and helped me out on a short notice need! He communicated with me about how Mia was doing and sent pictures. Will definitely look to him again for Mia's boarding needs”

“Patty was great with my dog. My pup is a senior edition and is mostly deaf and often easily frightened, but seems to do well staying with Patty. Patty communicates well and provides updates throughout my dogs stay!!”

“This was an extremely last minute booking, but Jessica was really sweet about it. My puppy has severe seperation anxiety, but she was really patient with him and did her best to help him warm up to her dogs and cats. I was extremely grateful for Jessica since I didn't have anyone else to watch him and couldn't take him where I was going. Will definitely rebook with her in the future when I'm heading out of town.”

About: I've had all manner of pets during my life, being the primary caretaker of cats and dogs in the home since a very young age, dogs and cats being my favorite due to their playful nature. Now that my kids are getting older and wanting more pets in our home (we have 1 cat), I'd like to teach them responsibility and pet care by petsitting and walking dogs. Plus with all their energy and love, kids make the perfect friend for energetic dogs that love to play. My cat would also love a playmate, as he grew up with a big dog and misses having a friend! I currently work from home, so I could use the company and breaks to go outside and take walks just as much as your furry best friend! I have a large yard perfect for playing fetch and a big house so pups won't feel cramped. My kids are full of energy and would love a an energetic dog to play with or even an old dog to pour lots of love into with petting and belly rubs in abundance.
“This was my first time using Rover and Chantilly was great! I could tell she treated Millie like her own and kept me updated with pictures and videos. I will definitely be booking her in the future!”

“This was our first time to use the Rover app. Katie made the experience of making final plans effortlessly. Our pet made himself at home immediately, upon arrival at her house.. We also received photos while we were out of town. Katie was very accommodating to our change in pickup plans. We will definitely schedule with Katie when future boarding services are needed.”

“Baleigh was amazing with our dog, Moose! She took such great care of him over our wedding weekend, and I had complete peace of mind knowing he was in such good hands. From the pictures she sent, it was clear he was having a great time! I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter, and we will definitely be rebooking in the future!”

“Celeste is a super sitter - 5 star plus plus. She took excellent care of our chocolate lab, a very senior member of our family who is 17+ people years old and needs a little extra help. We are very happy with the love and care shown our old girl, and have found our new sitter of choice.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Orange
Nikki and her family did an amazing job with my 9 month old puppy, Reggie. I have a very complicated feeding routine with him along with certain training things I’m doing with him and she followed them down to a T! She sent me a ton of updates throughout the week he was with her and he was very much cared for and loved while I was gone. I will definitely be booking again in the future and highly recommend her!

Nikki and family were awesome! Communication was easy and prompt when coordinating care and during Murphy’s stay. Very kind and gentle kids with my geriatric dog. When I picked him up, he seems so happy and relaxed. I fully expected he would be running anxiously for my vehicle haha! He was excited to see me, but thankfully wasn’t overtly anxious. This was so reassuring and encouraging for future stays!

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
