About: I have been around animals my entire life and have cared for my own pets since I was young. Over the years, I have owned and cared for many different types of animals, including Pit Bulls, Yorkshire Terriers, German Shepherds, Bulldogs, Shar-Peis, mixed-breed dogs, cats and kittens, turtles, rabbits, and chickens. Through this experience, I have learned how to understand different temperaments, provide daily care, maintain feeding schedules, exercise pets, and ensure they feel safe and comfortable. I am patient, responsible, and genuinely love animals. I understand that every pet has unique needs, and I am committed to treating them with the same care and attention that I give my own pets. I currently have a very flexible schedule because I am on summer break from university. This allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets in my care. I am available for walks, drop-in visits, daycare, and I can often accommodate different schedules, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays. I understand the importance of consistency in a pet's routine and will do my best to meet their specific needs. I live in a pet-friendly home with no other pets, which allows me to provide focused attention and a calm environment. My home has a living area, kitchen, bathroom, and multiple rooms, giving pets space to relax and feel comfortable. While there is not a fenced yard, there is plenty of outdoor space nearby for leashed walks, and a park is located close to my home for additional exercise and enrichment. When caring for pets, I prioritize safety, follow the owner's instructions carefully, maintain regular feeding and potty schedules, and make sure pets always feel secure, comfortable, and well cared for.

“Kristen was so wonderful to our 14-year old Yorkie. She treated him as her own and he got to spend time running with her fur babies. Tripper was loving all the space to run and explore. We were traveling from out of town and I was so nervous to leave him but she was so reassuring, kind, considerate and sent pics all weekend which allowed us to enjoy watching our son play in Cooperstown knowing out Tripper was in the best hands. About: I’ve took care of dogs of all kinds ever since I could remember, cats too! I’ve helped many many liter of puppies and raised them! I also worked at Paws and Claws which is a doggy daycare and boarding! I can very well sense personality and what they need! I treat them like members of a family and never let them go without care. I’m currently going to college and looking for a part time job, but will always make time for your furry friend, and would be willing to move things around! I currently have a dog who loves to play and a husky who is full of energy! And two cats who are just cuddle bugs, we have a park near by so we can go play, and I can easily crate your dog if needed and have plenty plenty of toys!

I have special experience working with powerful breeds, including retired and aspiring K9s, as well as senior & special needs pets. My home comes equipped with accessiblity tools like pet stairs & ramps suitable for even larger dogs. Our quarter acre is unfenced, but we do have a small enclosed area off the porch & several long leads to enjoy more of the grassy lawn. Safety is paramount. I have a fenced potty area off my porch for easy quick breaks, and several long leads for exploring the unfenced portions of the property. My senior dog recently passed away but she left soft beds in every room, jars of treats, and a big basket of toys I know she’d love to share.

I do work a full Time job from 8-4 pm- I am available during the week in the evenings after 4:00 p.m. weekends I am available anytime to walk your dog around town or just let them out to use the bathroom or to drop in. I have cared for dogs since I was a child. I love all animals and I will treat your pet as one of my own. I am ok with small or large pets. I will walk your pet in any weather condition, I do not mind. I previously worked part time at a doggy daycare in Pennsylvania before I moved to New York. I have cared for dogs, cats, small critters, birds and fish. I am also skilled in giving insulin injections I have been doing it for the last 5 years. I have also had experience taking care of dry eye. I do not mind giving medicine to your pet as long as I have clear instructions. Please let me know if I can be of service!
