These days, I’m a pet-sitter with loads of experience and time to give. I am dependable, conscientious, and kind. I will put the safety and care of your beloved pet first. 🐾 I am free to pet-sit on weekdays and weekends. I will gladly work with you to meet your scheduling needs throughout your trip. About: I have previous experience in caring for an Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix for long periods at a time. Being a high energy dog- I’m prepared for anything. I’m willing to help in whatever way I can- and provide your pet with love and attention! I have always had pets, but currently can’t afford to keep one myself. Growing up I had a Rottweiler and a Jack Russell, as I became a teenager we adopted a Pit Bull type dog who really changed my perception about the breed. I have high energy myself- so I love to be able to get dogs outside as much as possible and burn off a lot of their pent up energy. Dogs need it just as much as children do!
About: We have abundant experience in caring for animals whether they be ours or loved one's who we've cared for while they were away from their animals/house. This includes but is not limited to the following; large and small dogs (Greyhounds, Boxers, Husky, Pit bulls, mixed breeds, Maltese poodle, etc.), cats, large and small snakes (2ft - 9ft), small mammals (mice and rats, deques, rabbits, etc.), reptiles to (include scorpions, bearded dragons) .. just to name a few! Hello! I'm Victoria and I often travel with the best travel partner I've found yet, Rae. I travel frequently and am available for extended sits as needed. We often miss the love of animals while on the road. So, house and pet sitting is perfect for us! I take work with me and also additionally do gig work (i.e. grocery deliveries) if time permits while traveling. In time off from work, if not spending time with family or animals, we love to cook, find hidden gem restaurants/food trucks, explore in nature, long camping trips (we just took a 9000 mile, 2 month camping trip this year in April), projects on various older vehicles, attend concerts/festivals, or many other different events that a town/city may have to offer! We love to meet new people and pets and explore new areas... or frequent favorited locations! We often miss the love of animals while on the road. So, house and pet sitting is perfect! We still get to give our love to your animals while on the road! We come to you and follow your instructions and routines as to not disrupt your pets natural environment and daily schedule! Simply put, your preferences will be our preferences depending on your pets needs whatever it is that will make your pet most comfortable! About: I love dogs. I am currently a Daunt (Dog Aunt) to many dogs big and small! I love walking, being outside and playing with dogs! I am currently available to lavish all of my time on your pet pooch, as after a couple of years working as an RN during the pandemic I am taking a break. I treat all dogs with love and care and at the preferences of the owner. I respect dietary and exercise routines. In my home or yours, I can walk them as often as needed, prepare meals, and keep them entertained! I do not expect tips and all care of your furbabies is included in the stated rates.

She was able to extend her stay, and because I knew Tater was in the best hands, I was able to rest instead of stressing about travelling back home. Tater can barely contain herself when she sees Melanie walking up to my condo! They have developed such an amazing bond that I do not hesitate to call Melanie when I have to travel for work, take an extended vacation, or even for a week or two of walks when my job gets too crazy. She is quick to respond to all of my texts, and is proactive about sending me updates. The personal touch means everything to me since I am a first-time dog owner (and thus have incredible anxiety when I leave my fur baby)! I cannot recommend Melanie enough if you are looking for a competent, honest person to entrust with your pup's well-being.”
