“Angelia did an amazing job caring for my senior dog. I am so grateful for all the love and care Angela's family gave Winter. Winter looked for her new friends after we got home. She has a good time.”

“Our dogs get excited to be dropped off with Rebecca as we pull up to their house and always come home happy. Grateful to have a place I feel they are happy and safe while we travel.”

“People say they love animals, but not everyone truly does! I believe Kimberly truly loves animals. I feel she treated my puppies like they were hers. I am fairly new to leaving my girls with a sitter, Kimberly put my mind at ease. She sent a lot of updates and pictures, which I really appreciated. I will have Kimberly watch Thelma and Louise anytime I need a sitter again.”

“Great guy, no complaints! His dogs play well with others and the house is nice. He kept in good communication and sent pictures of my dog during the stay, would re-book and recommend him to others!”

“Kevin took excellent care of our pups! He was very communicative, provided lots of pics and videos, and made sure they were safe and taken care of. It's clear he treated them like his own. We highly recommend him for your dog care!”

“It was wonderful to work with Scott and the sweet pup Nico. Brass had a great time and came home ready for a nap! I won't hesitate to call again when I need to leave Brass with a great family.”

“Darby took excellent care of Alder, and I really appreciated her prompt communication and daily updates with photos. Alder had a great time and I was super happy he had lots of room to explore on the property. I completely trusted Alder in her care and would definitely book again in the future!”

“Mandy did an excellent job boarding our new puppy. She is very intuitive about dog behavior and understands their unique needs. Our dog Charlie was entertained and met many new friends while staying at Mandy's. We will be booking her again for our next trip.”

“It was great to get pictures and videos of my dogs every day, and to know they got a lot of time outdoors to exercise and make new friends. The shop where the dogs stay when they are indoors is perfect- clean, spacious and safe. I was happy that my three dogs got to share a “room”.”

“Once again, an incredible experience with Pam. unforeseen circumstances had to cut short Pam’s ability to watch my dog Ralph, but she arranged another dog sitter and brought Ralph to them and hung out to make sure he was comfortable. Pam cares for your pet like they’re her own. The pet sitter she found was also amazing and I’m so grateful for both of them.”

“Very communicative! I had never left my pups outside of family before and she made me very comfortable and sent me photos of my babies super happy while I was away. She was very responsive initially and answered my many questions when I was looking to book for the first time. I will definitely be requesting her services again in the future.”

“Kristi's home was a GREAT match for our dog, Ollie! It was clear that he was treated like family, and had tons of love and attention from the whole family. I'm so glad to have found a loving home-away-from-home for him. Ollie is booked to stay with Kristi again next month... it's SUCH a relief to know he'll be in good hands, having his own vacation while we have ours!”

“Erin and her family were great. They sent photos of our dog and communicated with us throughout his stay. We will definitely be requesting future stays for our dog with Erin and her family.”

“They treated our dogs great. Couldn’t be happier. Nice house with a small back yard. Friendly resident dogs. Maren and Jonathan are dog lovers. We will use them again. We enjoyed some pictures of our happy dogs while we were away.”

“Fellow Rover Parents, when in need call Amanda! A last minute drop out by a dog care person put me in a bind. Amanda stepped up and took on Chidi and Ellie for an extended weekend visit. The puppies returned home well fed and cared for, along with some needed and appreciated dog training! Good home environment for my puppies was much appreciated, along with walks and run around time. Highly recommend Amanda for your fur babies! John-”

“Alison was absolutely incredible with our dog, Woody! She watched him for 11 days while we were away on our honeymoon. She provided daily updates with photos and videos, so we knew Woody was having a great time! She was great with communication, and very flexible with us as well. Highly recommend! ☺️”

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
