“Emily did an outstanding job with Ransas. I'd pick her anytime to take care of my baby. She's a very kind person and took such good care of my dog that I thought I might not get him back.”

“I’m crying laughing they braided my dogs hair 😂😂 My dog has never been so comfortable staying somewhere. He’s an old guy so hearing that he’s playing and is energetic is so sweet! Would highly recommend!”

About: Because I’m easily distracted by dogs it’s easy for me to care for them! While this is my first time on Rover I don’t have glowing reviews…yet ! But rest assured I am able to use the experience that having my own doggy has given me. I have taken care of Chewy an 11year old Shih Tzu since he was re homed in 2015. He keeps me on my toes with multiple walks a day treats and he has me fetch his toys for him lol I also am a very proud grandma of 5 grand doggy’s - at times over the past 5 years my adult children trusted me take care of their family dogs while out of town. If you’re looking for a place where your doggy will be cared for and doted on, this is it! I’m currently a school bus driver and off for the summer so it’s easy to schedule at this time. And when school starts I’m still available because I make it a priority to come home to take care of my own dog in between routes where we get our walks in. I have a doggy door that connects to patio leads to a fully fenced in back yard which makes it very easy to have my pet and other dogs go outside for some fresh air and handle their business.
About: My first job was walking dogs back in middle school! I also stayed a couple nights at a family friend’s house in order to pet sit while they’re on vacation. I also have a pit of my own named eli, and a bunny named coco :)) I just recently started college, and it’s been a little hard finding a job, so my availability is pretty open, I only have a couple classes throughout the days :)) My dog roams around the house. He’s very friendly and loves to make doggy friends. Since he is a little bigger, small dogs might be intimidated, but he’s very gentle, and if needed, there’s a room we lock our dog in when there’s company :)
“Absolutely AMAZING!!! My baby had never been with out me for long especially over night bc of separation anxiety issues which will cause him to not eat or go potty and get very lethargic but he did all these things with her bc she made him feel right at home and comfortable!! he played etc… she sent me videos pics !!!! She is amazing and I trust her completely!!!!”

About: As a pet owner, sitter, falconer, and former zoo keeper, a majority of my life revolves around animals. Their proper care and well being is of the utmost importance to me. I have been pet sitting just over ten years, while maintaining other jobs but am now pursuing this full time as a means to help support my growing family. In my free time I offer free snake relocation services; as well as reptile and falconry/raptor education events. I have helped whelp litters, bottle feed, tube feed, hand feed (birds). I’m experienced in medication administration, as well as abiding by special diet restrictions. I maintain a federal falconry license as well as a state sub-permit for wildlife rehab. I’ve cared for everything from birds to reptiles, exotic mammals, wildlife to house pets! There are few animals I’m uncomfortable with and for that reason my rates are adjustable for those with special circumstances! I’ve always felt I had a special bond with animals and I’d love to provide your pet with the same love, care and attention I would provide my own. Pet care is a daily part of my life! Fortunately, I livewoth my fiancee who’s just as passionate about animals and am able to leave my own animals with him when I’m working. Animals have been my whole life and I’m in no hurry to change that. I will always show animals the same love, attention, respect and care that I would show my own personal pets. Truthfully, I’ve never met an animal I didn’t love

About: Hi! I'm Brizza, a 24-year-old Animal Science student at Sam Houston State University with 9 years of experience in veterinary medicine. I'm currently based in League City for the summer and look forward to caring for pets in the surrounding area. I've worked as both a veterinary assistant and technician. My experience allows me to recognize abnormal behavior early, administer oral medications and injections, monitor pets for signs of illness or discomfort, and provide compassionate, attentive care. Whether your pet needs medication, extra patience, lots of playtime, or simply someone who understands their unique personality, I'm happy to help. I currently volunteer with a wildlife rehabilitator to continue expanding my knowledge while building experience for veterinary school. I'm comfortable caring dogs, cats, and other small mammals, including seniors and pets with medical needs. Animals have always been my passion, and I treat every pet as if they were my own—with patience, kindness, and respect. I'm dependable, responsible, and committed to keeping both you and your pet comfortable through regular updates, photos, and communication while you're away. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, senior, or has special medical needs, I'd be honored to provide the same level of care and attention I would give my own pets. I can't wait to meet you and your furry family members! As a full-time Animal Science student, I have a flexible schedule this summer and am available for drop-in visits, dog walks, and house sitting throughout the week in the League City area. Caring for animals is something I truly enjoy, so I make it a priority to give every pet plenty of attention, exercise, enrichment, and affection. I'll happily follow your pet's normal routine—including feeding schedules, medications, potty breaks, and bedtime routines—to help them feel comfortable and stress-free while you're away. Your pet's safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities. With nearly a decade of veterinary experience, I'm trained to recognize subtle changes in behavior that may indicate illness, pain, or stress and can administer oral medications and injections when needed. I practice calm, low-stress handling and tailor my approach to each pet's personality, whether they're energetic, anxious, shy, or senior. I will treat your home with the same respect I would my own, carefully follow all care instructions, keep your pet's environment clean and secure, and provide regular updates with photos so you can have peace of mind while you're away.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
