“Melanie did a great job caring for our pets over a long weekend. She came for many meet and greet sessions prior to sitting for our special needs doggie. She was reliable and made it out even during some awful weather. She sent us regular updates, and we really feel we can trust her with our pets.”

“Nancy took excellent care of our kitties during her daily visits. We appreciated the regular photographs and updates on how they were doing in our absence. The boys look forward to visits from Auntie Nancy again in the future!”

“Maya followed all of my instructions and really tried to do things as I do them so my cats had some consistency while I was out of town. She also did a really good job navigating all of the different, and sometimes difficult, personalities of my cats. I’d rebook with her next time I’m out of town.”

“If it were possible, I’d rate her 10+ stars! Definitely the best care we’ve ever received for our big boy, he was clearly happy and well loved while we were gone. If you are lucky enough to get to work with Raysha, it will be a great experience for both you and your pets! Highly recommend 😀”

About: My goal is to make you feel as stress-free as possible while you are away. Being a dog-owner myself, I know it can be anxiety-inducing to leave your pets behind, especially with someone you may not be very familiar with. I am an excellent communicator, and I hope that I can give you the peace of mind you need to fully enjoy your time away, knowing that your furry family member is safe and being well-taken care of. I grew up with pets - dogs (all shapes and sizes), cats, horses, and even pet rats - and love spending time with animals! I did dog-sitting through Rover when I was in grad school in Alaska. I've had a gap in my dogsitting work (last once was in 2020) while I was working in a demanding full-time job, but I'm excited to return to dogsitting this summer! I work from home, and I have a very flexible schedule. I walk my dogs on the beach every day for 30-60 minutes, sometimes twice a day. If you are planning on going on a sport-fishing charter and need a place for your dog to be for the day, think of me! I am available for early morning drop-offs for doggy day-care if scheduled before 9pm the night before. **If I am doing a homestay or your dog is staying at my place for the day, my two Alaskan huskies Murphy and Precious will be with me.** They are very good with other dogs, and they are very calm, chill, and house-trained. I am happy to maintain your dogs' routine and schedule to make sure they are as comfortable as possible while you are away. I try to send daily photos of your pet and give a little update on how the day went. I don't take dogs for off-leash walks while in my care. I am very safety conscious and aware that sometimes animals act differently when their family isn't around, and so I am careful and vigilant while I am responsible for your animal. I am happy to continue any training programs you may have with your animals.

“Catherine is amazing! She did a wonderful job with our kitty man. We got up to date pictures and he was medicated and fed as per our instructions. We are so happy to have found a person we can rely upon in our new home!!! We will absolutely book again!!!”

“Clover did such an amazing job with our 3 cats! One of them requires pills twice a day... you get it. She also watered our greenhouse plants - above and beyond! We already have our next visit booked :)”

“Thank you so much for sitting with my little rascals. With their various personalities I needed someone who could provide equal care to them both. I will definitely contact you again in the future for any future needs.”

About: Well I’ve had cats all my life but I do love dogs! I have done over night(s)! I love taking dogs for walks & to parks to run around and possibly play with other dogs I’ve helped with a friend of mine dogs while his other family members were off on a camping trip so I took them out for potty a few times a day, feed them, & played with them. I’m definitely an animal lover who loves being outdoors and helping out if and when needed I’ve been told multiple times that I’m a cat/dog whisperer if you know what I mean by that. If there is anything in particular you wanna know feel free to ask. I currently am a homemaker and do have my own vehicle. I currently have a very open schedule but I do not drive. My partner drives me (or animals!) wherever I need to go. First things first I like to have a conversation with the clients about their pet specific needs and schedules. If a, “In-home” pet sitting is needed, I also like to go over any house or home rules. This can vary depending on the animal.
