“Andrew was GREAT! His whole house, from the inside out was extremely dog friendly. LiLi was a little apprehensive at first. He let me stay while he introduced all the dogs he was watching, one at a time, to LiLi. He made the transition easier for her by giving her (and all the other dogs) treats. Even though LiLi was nervous when I left, Andrew sent me a video of her happily playing with his dog, James, less than 5 minutes after I left. He took great pictures and videos too!! Definitely will use him again…tomorrow. 😊”
“Kiana was great. We were visiting from out of town and wanted to bring our fur baby. However, the weather was extremely cold and my daughter and I wanted to go to the outlet mall but had no clue what to do with our pup. I reached out to Kiara and god a near immediate response. We were able to enjoy our trip and our pup was happy too. She got a walk and lots of love and attention and had a blast playing with her dog. She was nice and worn out for our long car ride home. About: I grew up around dogs and cats my whole life. I've had different breeds of dogs and have my own dog and my own cat. I had administered medications to my dog so I can take the best care of your dog although. I raised my current dog from a puppy and worked with a professional trainer to train her. I've also been around senior animals too and can provide care for them if needed. I have given baths to both cats and dogs. I currently have an open availability within reason. I am available most weekdays and weekends. I can be available for boarding during the week and weekends within reason. DOGGY DAY CARE/BOARDING HOURS* Monday-Friday* DROP OFF: 7am-10am PICKUP: 2pm-4:30pm Saturday-Sunday* DROP OFF: 8am-11am PICK UP: 2pm-5pm *Fridays and some Saturdays pick up no later than 3:30pm this is subjected to change based on availability. I can work around your schedule within reason, days I'm unavailable will be blocked out on my calendar. I am willing to work something out within reason. I have a fenced in backyard for dogs and outdoor cats and they will always be supervised when in the backyard. We have a designated lounge room for pets for safety and comfort along with some toys, they'll be treated as part of the family! I have a friendly dog and a friendly cat. I have a boyfriend named Russell who lives with me who will only assist with chores as we also have pets of our own and as needed transportation and in the event of an emergency but I'm the sole caregiver as he works evenings during the week.
About: I’m an attorney and moved to Granger recently. I have been on Rover for a few years (previously in Chicago and Colorado). I’ve had a cat since I was 7 years old, have worked with horses (not that I’m expecting to actually pet-sit any horses), and just adore animals. I have a 7 year old cat and a 1 1/2 year old dog. About: I have always enjoyed spending my time with animals. I got my first dog when I was in elementary school - sadly he recently passed away - but since coming to college I have been missing my sweet fur baby. Being able to play with and care for someone else's pet while also earning extra cash would be an ideal job experience for me. Getting a new pet really isn’t an option for me right now. With all the free time on my hands, and I would love to get the chance to spend it walking and playing with your fur babies! In the past, I have dog sat for other friends and family and I really enjoyed it and having the extra company is always a plus!

Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. To find the fastest available match, message multiple sitters with a recent "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
