Dog Walkers in Olin, IA

About: I am open to most pets. Cats, Dogs, Horses, Calves, Lambs, Guinea Pigs, Turtles, etc..... If extra special care or out of state, I do charge travel fees. I do have experience with older pets and young ones. I have been known to raise Opossums from the size of mice to adults. If that gives you an idea! I am open to new proposals and willing to negotiate new situations! (Unencountered situations when it comes to pets) I also House-sit, plants, pets etc... I do travel out of state to Illinois (Mostly the North suburbs of Chicago) and Wisconsin. This is where I have done house-sitting. Pets and Plants can be included in this care. I do add travel expenses, mainly for gas, when traveling for house sitting. I get up in the morning and get my coffee going and then tend to pets that are around. They get fed first thing, inside and outside. Feral cats seem to be present in the morning. Litter boxes are checked. Water Bowls. Mostly I go to people's homes and care for the pets at their houses, but I have had people bring them to me. I have an extra room set up in my barn if there are anxieties or stress with animals and they need a quiet place. I am in the process of updating that room a little more. It is heated for the winter months. I do have hand brushes and combs for extra attention and I do go talk to whoever is around. If dogs come, they can be walked. Although I live in a small town, I am close to nice places to walk on the edge of town.

About: I have dog sat all types of dogs biggest being a Great Dane and the smallest a Chihuahua. I am very open to dog sitting any dog! I am currently working full time at the college of dentistry but I get off work at 5 everyday and have weekends and holidays off. I live in an apartment so I wouldn’t be able to board your dogs but I am very respectful of someone’s home and will take great care of your dogs.

About: My experience includes behavior modification, rehabilitation and foster care. Since I was my daughters age I have been pet sitting and working with animals and would like to share the experience I work at home everyday but Thursday. We are available for dog walking and live close to a park trail and we are looking for a family interaction. Crate services, roaming and family integrated home. We are able to walk your animals and provide check ins. I know how animals are part of the family.

About: For years my daughter and I volunteered at a no-kill shelter fostering and adopting out dogs and cats. This gave me experience with several breeds. I work Tuesday through Friday from 8-5. My office is very close to the house and I am able to come home everyday for lunch. I have lots of time to spoil your pets! I live in a condo with a very large yard. Your pets will have the run of the house. I have one cat that rules the roost!

About: I have taken care of my brothers dog who is 8 years old (Rottweiler/Lab 70lbs) for almost three years now. And once in a while I watch over my sisters dog who is a 2 year old American bulldog. I’ve taught my my brothers Rottweiler how to stay, sit. He is a very needy dog but I’ve learned to be patient. I taught my sister puppy to sit, give me his paw and leave it. Doggies can be so energetic but that’s the fun part. I’m currently working overnights (10pm/6am). And my mornings/ evenings are pretty flexible. The only days I wouldn’t be able to be free is on Tuesdays evening. At my apartment building we have a fenced yard made for pets if needed. Otherwise my apartment is pet free and your pet is safe. I can also watch them at your place if needed.

About: Hi, I love dogs and would love to help you take care of yours. I currently have BIG slobbery bloodhound, a very loyal Scottie and a adorable Shitzu that keep me busy but I defiantly have time for your four legged friend. I have been a dog lover for some time so this job seems pretty natural for me. I will give your pooch lots of loving care and attention along with walks and exercise. I have a fenced area that is currently filled with a veggie garden but there are plenty of room for a stay for your pooch. My home is clean and my dogs are well taken care of. You can rest assured that your fur baby will be happy and healthy. I have a flexible schedule and try to keep my colander updated. I can be book at last minute most time but not all times. I do try to keep environment clean and pet safe. I respect other people property and privacy and you can trust me to do a good job!

About: I’ve always been an animal lover and have grown up surrounded by cats and dogs. Caring for pets has always come naturally to me! I’m comfortable with feeding, walking, playing, bathing, and simply spending time with your sweet friend. I’ve also worked at a dog daycare, which gave me hands-on experience with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and energy levels. Including pups who are shy, anxious, or need a little extra patience. I currently work in the ICU at the U of Iowa about 24 hours a month and will soon be working an additional 8 hours a week at another hospital. I’ll also be starting nursing school in the fall, but outside of that, I’ll mainly be home and available. Whether you need help with daily care or overnight stays, I’m happy to come to your home to feed, walk, play with, or simply keep your pet company. Your pet’s comfort, safety, and happiness are my top priorities and I’ll always care for them as if they were my own.

About: Growing up on a farm, I’ve always had a big heart for all types of animals! I have rescued kittens and other animals since I was young, and there has never been a time in my life where I did not have a pet to care for. My full time job is only 2 days a week, so the rest of my time can be focused on your pet. I walk my own dogs daily and love to be outdoors, so there isn’t a request to far fetched! About: I’ve been around animals since I was a little kid. Grew up showing horses and cattle. I currently have Scottish highland cows, 2 dogs, and 3 cats. I’ve pet sat for family, friends, neighbors, and now Rover clients. I love animals more than people most days. :) Being around any kind of animal is my happy place. When in college, I worked for Apple Creek Kennel in Marion, IA. I’m very approachable and easy to talk to. I will treat your pet as if it were my own. I will work with you if price or schedule doesn’t line up. I work from home MOST days. If I’m not home, I’m usually not too far away. I make my own schedule so I’m able to be somewhat flexible. I’m a crop insurance adjuster full time and usually the busiest times of the year for me are around planting (May-June) and harvest (Sept-Dec). Please be mindful about how far apart we live. If we do live 20+ miles apart and you need me to care for your pet 4 times a day, that’s a minimum of 2 1/2 hours of driving time and gas for that day, on top of my full time job. I do my best not to over-commit myself and I am very upfront and honest about my schedule for the time frames requested. My full time job takes priority but I will always do my best to accommodate you and your pet(s) if my schedule allows. 🥰 I have a 5ft fenced yard. I will care for your animals specifically as I’m told and will do what is safest and most secure for your animal.

About: I’ve taken care of multiple dogs since I was in high school, from family members, neighbors, or friends! I can provide services for dogs, cats, smaller animals ect. I have cared for puppies that need help with potty training, special dogs that need extra care and help with certain needs, to senior dogs that need help getting up or walking around. I’ve also given oral medications for dogs at multiple different families. I have also been a Nanny for Iowa Elite Nannies since 2018 and pick up shifts for numerous families around the area. I am renovating a house so with all the things that’s going on at my home I’d prefer to come to you for a better safer environment for pets at this time. I am very active and love going on walks and playing with pets in anyway I can to make sure they get all their zoomies out. I currently work full time (7:30am-4:00pm Monday-Friday) as a dental assistant at North Liberty Oral Surgery and Dental Implants. I can provide drop-in visits before/after my work hours or during my free time or weekends. I can possibly do overnights at the rovers house as well if requested and works out with my schedule. My home is currently undergoing renovations at this time so I’m not offering boarding at my home. I will stay at the rovers house with their pet if requested. I love all animals and will treat them like my own. If the pets family has a routine for the animals or specific requests I will obviously follow that and do what is asked. Obviously food, water, and potty breaks are a necessity and I will provide that for your pets. If your pet has an specific diet, allergies, medications Id request that it be written down, so I can always make sure I’m giving your pet the correct portions/amounts.

About: I’ve had a dog ever since I was a little girl, up until he passed away at 14, so I’ve learned a lot about dogs. I’ve also helped plenty of my friends with their dogs, especially my close relatives and their three Aussies in the past three years. I’ve helped with potty training them, as well as feeding, watering, walking, playing ball with them. I’ve also helped with two litters of puppies! I do not have a job currently so I have much free time to spend with dogs and cats! I like to volunteer on Wednesdays and occasionally have dance that night too, and Sundays I have church in the morning, so I’m very free. About: 20 years experience with horse training as well as pet ownership. I have experience with pets such as dogs, cats, horses, cows, pigs, goats, chickens, rabbits, rats, snakes, geckos etc. I am willing to do drop ins for farm chores as well. I am usually at work in the afternoon to evening, I would be available for drop ins before and after work any day of the week! I will be offering in client home sitting, I have a lot of ‘animal sense’ and I am able to follow any specific instructions for your pets needs.

About: I've never been privileged to live with a pet because of allergies in my household, but I absolutely love both dogs and cats! I have helped friends and family care for pets and volunteered with an animal rescue program for a while in middle and high school. I also have experience with animal handling in a theater setting. I absolutely adore corgis, they are my favorite breed! I also love huskies!! Yes, I am the kind of girl that will excitedly point out every dog I see anywhere I am moving back home for the summer beginning in May and looking to make some extra cash for a few months. My schedule is pretty flexible for now, but I will update it when/if I get another summer job Sadly, my home does not allow pets but I am happy to come to you! I will follow any routine your pet has and I will make a point to leave your home just as you left it. As for walks, if your dog has an area they like to explore that is great!
