About: I love animals and have been caring for dogs as well as other animals for over 30 years. I have experience with my own personal dogs, dog sitting for friends, working at a rescue shelter, volunteering at a Vet. office and supporting a dog trainer. I have a fenced yard for those middle of the night pee breaks and for basking in the sun. My neighborhood is a safe place for walking dogs and I'm happy to take them on adventures to the woods and trails. I am adamant about following your care instructions and happy to send daily photos of your pooch. I like to think of this as a fun dog camp. I'm happy to arrange a meet and greet first. I am self employed and work from home. I'm around most of the time except for occasional errands. I will take your dog for multiple walks per day and out for a walk in the woods if you would like them to have more adventures. I have a fenced yard. I only allow one visiting dog at a time to ensure they get lots of attention and not overwhelmed. Your dog must be friendly towards people and other dogs. My goofy dog, Banana, loves to play and hang out with other dogs.

“I felt very lucky to find a sitter that would take my pup and Tannis (and her patient family) spent quality time with my girl. Her location was perfect for me, I picked up a very happy puppy, and I could not feel more confident leaving my sweet girl in her care. Thank you Tannis!”

About: I've cared for dogs, cats, birds, chickens and even lizards for my entire life. Experienced with puppies and kittens, and senior dogs and cats, including administering medications (yes, even puffers!) and preparing special diets. I'm skilled at doggie baths, showers, and toothbrushing, and puppy training, too. Besides dogs and cats, I'm especially good at rabbit snuggling, hamster, gerbil and guineapig caregiving, and have even looked after budgies, finches and cockatiels. My own pup is a young rescued chihuahua mix who's been neutered, graduated from obedience training, and loves to play with other small dogs. He's well-mannered enough to know when to chill and when to turn up the party, and loves to have houseguests over. I'm a stay-home dog mom so my daily routine revolves around pet care needs. Usually we do a morning walk, morning and afternoon play time, and another evening walk and/or play time, with breaks as needed to visit the fenced backyard puppy potty. Enrichments like hide-and-seek and trick training, or sniff walks at the beach, are always fun! We (my partner and I) have a friendly and bouncy small dog (chihuahua mix) who would love to keep your furry pal company and give them plenty of fun and facilitated play time. We only accept one boarder or daycare client at a time to ensure guest pups get the care and attention they need. Outside, we have a fenced yard, and inside, we have puppy pens, a crate if needed, and gates to make sure nobody runs up and down stairs or out the door when they shouldn't. Dogs are welcome to sleep in their crates or our bed. Walks are always on-leash. We'll want to meet and greet at least a few days before your pup's stay to introduce doggy guests to our pup in a neutral environment, and will arrange to make that happen. For dog walks, our guy is happy to tag along if that works for your pup too, or stay home if they want more one-on-one walking fun. He loves cats, but we know not all cats love him, so they won't be interacting unless your cat is keen on dogs.

About: I have taken care of animals and I have had multiple different kinds myself. I love all kinds of animals and like to show them love like they show us. Im currently home all day with the kids. My husband works days but is home at night. We also have a teenager in the home who is very responsible and will help out. I have two friendly dog and two catswe have a small yard but like to go on walks. We are outside as much as we can.

“Haden took excellent care with our Banjo, introducing him to her two big friendly dogs. Huge fenced shady acreage to run around in (although Banjo preferred to sit, sniff, listen and contemplate life). He even got to meet a sheep (from safely behind a fence)!”

“Mike was so good with walks! Which is rare for a lot of Rover folks. So grateful that he was willing to give Bosa walks around the neighborhood and downtown. He loves dogs, he is courteous, my little guy loves going over there. Definitely recommended.”

“Molly did an excellent job with Harlan, and sent me many lovely photos. (Made easier by the fact that Harlan is the most handsome boy!) But seriously, Molly gave off very kind hearted vibes, Harlan seemed to have a great time and came back tired, and the puppy pics were above average”
