About: Growing up in Port Angeles near the Olympic National Park, I have always had a strong love for animals. I received my Bachelor’s degree in wildlife biology so that I could work towards preserving threatened or endangered species. Through internships, volunteering, work experience, and personal experience, I’ve cared for a variety of species including cats, dogs, amphibians, reptiles, beavers, big cats, and wolf-dogs. I have 1.5 years experience working as a cat caregiver at a no-kill nonprofit animal rescue. During my time as a caregiver, I worked with special needs cats, senior cats, and kittens. I am currently working as a veterinary assistant at a local veterinary clinic. I have worked with dogs and cats with a variety of health conditions and temperaments. I have two cats of my own. I also work as a veterinary assistant full-time where I provide medical care to animals. This includes giving vaccines, drawing blood, trimming nails, providing food and water, and cleaning cages for animals that are staying in the hospital for extended periods of time. I would prefer to conduct a meet and greet with both you and your animal prior to caring for them in order to establish their trust. I will happily take your dog(s) for 30 minute walks around your neighborhood, and I will pick up after them during walks as well. For in home visits, if I am letting your dog out to potty, I will make sure that it is only within a fenced area that your dog cannot jump, or that your dog is on a leash. I am also a firm advocate for indoor-only cats and I am careful to not let your cats outside when I enter or exit your home. I have experience feeding pets dry food, wet food, prescription diets, and raw food diets, and will be more than happy to keep your pet on their regular meal regiment while you are gone as I understand the importance of an established routine for animals. I am familiar with medicating pets such as giving them eye drops, ear drops, pills, liquid oral medications, and subcutaneous injections. Lastly, I’ll make sure that everyone always has fresh water.

About: I love all animals and grew up taking care of all sorts of pets, however dogs hold the biggest piece of my heart. My wonderful pup, Bentley, recently went over the rainbow 🌈 after 13 amazing years together and there’s been a little piece of me missing ever since. Let me love on your dog when you can’t! We will definitely be helping each other out ❤️🥰 I work from home and can be around most of the time your pet is in my care. I love to play and go on walks. My schedule is very flexible and I can accommodate your pet, whatever the need. When they are with me, they are welcome on the couch and bed or I will follow any instructions to keep your fur baby on their normal regimen. Every animal has different needs and I will make sure they feel comfortable and are well cared for. I am familiar with aggressive breeds and know how to handle all kinds of situations. I’ve also had a senior pet that required medicines and special foods. Whatever kind of care your pet needs, I can assure you I will treat them like my own. I generally only sit 1-3 dogs at a time (dependent on size) since I live in an apartment, however I will take them out often to make sure they get enough exercise and I will smother them with love if they will let me! I love to go for walks on the beach or in the woods. I like to chase sunsets and sunrises. All of which are more enjoyable with sweet creatures. I adore giving affection and opportunities to play for both cats and dogs. I have tended to a variety of different types of animals over the years. Some need ample one on one attention. Which I accommodate by giving them solo walks and separate meal times when requested. Others who loved to be social or had other animal roommates that needed plenty of outdoor time. Elder cats and dogs who needed extra special care, medication, fluids, and special diets. Dog and cat drop ins can make a world of difference for an animal navigating extended time away from their people/person. She does not come with me for cat or dog drop ins. Dog walks can include her company or not, always at your discretion. She does join me for overnight pet sitting and loves other dogs. She tends towards submissive and loves to chase and play. She is very mellow indoors and enjoys watching the activity of others. Throughout her life she has helped with pet sits. For her first four years of life she lived with two other dogs. She is a great addition to any pack. I have experience farm sitting which includes plant watering of green house, gardens, field and pasture. As well as goat milking, poultry care, and feeding of cows, horses, goats and pigs. About: We’re two young professionals that love animals! Tom’s a video producer & Evelyn’s an engineer. We have years of fostering experience and professional K9 behavior and obedience training! For the past couple of years we were traveling in our self converted camper van, but now we’ve settled down in Port Townsend with our 2 dogs and you can always find us camping or hiking! We have experience with the biggest of dogs, down to the smallest of kittens! Let us know what your buddy needs and we’ll take care of it! Typically, if one of us isn’t available, the other one is. We usually leave our doggo’s at home, for simplicity, and take turns on the visits. Any questions or requests, just let us know! ¡También hablo español! We have flexible schedules so it is no problem at all to fit your pups into our daily lives! We are free to care for them anytime of the day! We are very mindful of trying to maintain the same routine that your pet is used to. If they're couch potatoes, we'll lounge and watch a movie, if they're active, we'll go out for a long walk or run. About: I worked as a veterinary assistant for 10 years in ER and specialist facilities, including fear-free practices. After that, I was an Animal Control Officer for a few years where I was able to help so many pets and owners. Now, I work from home for a pet insurance company and get to spend all my time with my pets rather than away at work. I am very comfortable with all types of medication administration, including insulin injections. Senior pets are my all-time favorites, no matter the species. I would be more than happy to care for your medically needy companion. When your pets are in my home, they will be separated from my own dogs via baby gates at all times. I work from home 8-5, but pets are always by my side. We can absolutely fit your pet's needs into my day either before or after my shift. If they're in my home they will get interaction through the day. I have fenced in areas for pets to go outside and a nice neighborhood we can walk. I'm happy to take your pet to my local park for some extra sniffy time as well. They will always be on leash outside of my fenced in areas. I do offer pickup/drop off services if you don't have transportation for your pet.

About: I grew up with dogs and cats and pigs and cows and a few reptiles. I’ve had dogs my whole life. I’ve watched friend’s dogs and have temporarily taken in dogs when friends and family needed to re-home their pets. My schedule doesn’t allow me to have a pet full time but on my days off I can spend the day lounging inside or hiking outside or floating in a kayak with your pet! I currently have a pet fish who is always curious and would love to make your pet his new best friend! I only work a couple days a week and my schedule is fairly flexible. I can happily fit in pup time all the days in between! I live in a dog friendly house with a fenced backyard. I also enjoy hiking the local trails and going to the nearby parks. I have friends with small to large dogs that enjoy being outdoors and socializing with other dogs for some doggy play dates if preferred. My house has laminate flooring and I only clean with pet friendly solutions so if you have a puppy in training it’s not a big deal. When caring for your pet they will be the priority of my attention. If I am available then I will not be working so my routine will try to mimick their routine. I have a fenced yard with space for your pup to play. Beds are off limits abut I have a perfect doggy blanket on the couch with your pup’s name on it if furniture is ok by you.

About: As someone who works online, my hours are completely flexible and can be done most anywhere. I use this to my advantage as a pet-lover. It means I get to be surrounded by pets as much as I can, and as someone who cannot have their own dog, I cannot express how fulfilling and heartening it is for me to do so. I have also pet-sit for friends and family all my life. I truly love animals. I go in with this mindset: how would I want others to treat my home-space and my own pet? My aim is that you can travel with a peaceful certainty your pet will be showered with love and attention, and you don't have to worry. About: I love all pets! I have never owned a dog, but would love to walk and play with yours. I have two cats and know how to tend to them well, including playing. Since I am unemployed, I am free most of the week. I am okay with same-day scheduling but prefer one-day or more in advance. I am flexible! I like to get to know pets by having them sniff me and check me out before I do anything with them. That way they know I am not aggressive and that they can trust me. Then I will tend to their needs as best I can.

About: I’ve had pets my whole life, and am currently a proud dog mom to an energetic heeler. I have work experience at an animal shelter tending to special needs animals. I know all the best places to walk your pup/s! Although I live in Quilcene, I often am in the Port Townsend/Hadlock areas and have no problems traveling to those areas to care for your pets. I am self-employed with a moderately flexible schedule. Walks and drop ins fit are a great fit; most days of the week aside from Thursday afternoon work well. I am happy to travel outside of Quilcene to care for your pet/s. I have a good sized dog run at my home, and a large field on a farm for those who listen well. My dog gets along with most other dogs, and if not I will keep them separate.
