“Hamlets is so amazing, they love dogs and it shows. I love how she keeps us updated and posts pictures. Your dog will get so spoiled they won’t want to come home. We have used her two times now and have no regrets!!”

“We have never left any pet for a week so we were nervous. Ashley sent updates, pictures, and reassurances that our girl was happy, and enjoying her stay. She’s attentive to all the details! We picked up a completely exhausted doggie. Thanks Ashley! Kallie will definitely be back!”

“Shanaz was very very caring, and took care of our Yogi, just like we do at home. I approached Shanaz kind of at the last minute for a 6 day Boarding for Yogi. This was a long time for Yogi to stay away from us and I wanted to make sure of a caring and understanding person. I spoke to her over the phone, and had a gut feeling that Yogi will be fine with her. I went with my instinct and that proved 100% correct. Thank you Shanaz ❤️”

“Sarah kept me well informed with texts and pics during my trip When she experienced a behavioral challenge with my pet, we worked through it together by openly sharing relevant information.”

“Milton was awesome! Our dog cotton loved being there and seemed so comfortable from all the pictures he sent me! Milton communicated very well and I would definitely use him again!”

“This was my dog’s first time staying with someone else, and I was honestly a little nervous…But Daniela made the whole experience amazing! 🤗 💖She sent daily photos and videos of him looking so happy and relaxed, which really gave me peace of mind. 💖She was always in touch and treated him with so much care and attention. 💖He got plenty of walks, and she was very patient with his eating habits too🙏 I’m truly grateful and would absolutely recommend her to anyone! Thank you so much ❤️”

About: Hello all pet lovers! You're in luck! You have found a pet sitter with lots of experience. I love animals so much I want to become a Vet-Tech. My dream is to retire on an Alpaca ranch and raise them. I grew up on a ranch raising cattle and LOTs of other animals. Right now, I care for my Mini Schnoodle Grayson who is very spoiled and a big love bug! I provide lots of loving care for your fur-babies. I can walk your puppy, babysit at your home, or pop in for walks while you are away. Since I love animals, I have rescued countless animals and have nursed them back to health. I've also raised animals via bottle feeding. As a result, that led to healthy pets that eventually went to a happy home. My dog Grayson is a very sweet dog that has been through professional training. We spend a lot of time at the dog park where he is a social butterfly! Grayson is excited to make new friends all the time. I'm excited to meet your fur-baby and are for them as if they're my own. FYI, my Grayson is VERY spoiled :-). My schedule is pretty flexable with only working part-time. I can be available for walks and taking care of your treasured fur baby daily! I will watch your baby, feed them assigned food and take them on long walks. Of course we have to play! I often play fetch with Grayson.
About: I have been around dogs and cats since I was born! Love animals and always have. If I could have any dog in the world it would be a Saint Bernard. They are just so big and huge, but for now I have a cute little mutt who is 13 and still energetic and healthy! I’ve had dogs jump on me, so I can handle big dogs. I’m currently working part-time at church and looking for full time ministry! In the meantime ~ I wanted to earn some extra money, to help with student loans and food. Rover has been recommended to me and I can’t wait to join in all the pet sitting fun!! I have a fenced yard that is a pretty good size for running around! My house is a little small inside, but it’s like a cute cottage. We keep our air conditioning cool and there’s comfortable spots for your pet to lay/sit on! We keep our house clean and picked up. So there nothing really for your pet to get into!!

During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.

- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Old Ocean.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
