“We’re so glad we found Meredith to help us take care of our 4-month-old puppy and senior cat. They’re both a handful but Meredith is so loving and professional with them. My fur babies can’t wait to see her again!”

“Sure! Here’s a concise and positive review you can leave for your Rover dog sitter: ⸻ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Ysalys was fantastic! Super communicative throughout the entire stay—kept me updated with messages and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind. My dog was clearly well cared for and happy. I’d absolutely book again!”

“Angela was absolutely amazing. She exceeded our expectations. We are typically very skeptical of meeting new people on Rover. Our dog is just as picky. He took to her right away and couldn't leave her alone. She communicated with us every step of the way. She sent pictures and updated us as she came and went. She left our home in the same condition it was in when she left. We will most definitely be using her in the future! Thank you again so much Angela!”

“Melissa is the BEST doggy sitter! She goes above and beyond for both me and my baby and I am so at ease having her stay at my home with him while I’m gone. You’re in for a real treat when you choose Melissa as your sitter!”

“Bella had a wonderful time with Makenna! Excellent communicator and I plan to rebook with her soon. Thanks Makenna!”

“Taylor did an amazing job watching all our animals! I got a lot of updates and when we came back, our animals were happy and the house was immaculate! We will definitely be using him again to house sit for us!”

“Nancy made it possible for our cats to enjoy their days just like usual during our two-week trip. Thanks to her, we were able to worry less about them while we were away. We’re so grateful for her care and kindness. If we ever need someone to look after our cats again, we would definitely ask her. Thank you, Nancy!”

“Katie was incredible!!! Bella loved hanging out with her. I would definitely call on her again if she’s available next time we have a need. I can’t say enough just how great she was and took such great care of Bella!”

About: I am a current veterinary student at the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine, where I am pursuing companion animal medicine. I have spent the past 2 years working in a vet clinic, where a majority of my experience has been working with cats and dogs of all ages and sizes. I am new to Rover, but I have 10+ years of experience pet sitting and taking care of others’ fur babies! I am a full time veterinary student, typically at school 8 am - 5 pm, Monday through Friday. I can offer drop in visits a couple of times during weekdays, but I am available to spend more time with your pets on the weekends. I am unable to care for pets in my home, but I am more than happy to commute to take care of your pet(s) at your home. I strive to make your pet(s) feel loved and comfortable while you’re gone by playing and loving on them, taking them for walks, administering medications if needed, etc.

“Jasmin took such great care of our home and Millie! She gave us updates and photos throughout the trip and our home was in great shape upon our return! Millie loves playing with and going on walks with Jasmin!!”

“Megan was fantastic! She house sat for me last weekend and was friendly, took excellent care of my doggo, had great communication, and sent pictures. No issues and would definitely rebook :)”

“We have 3 senior dogs that do best staying in the environment and routine they are familiar with so an in-home sitter is a must. Jayne had stellar reviews and is also newer to Knoxville just like my husband and I. We knew instantly during the meet and greet that Jayne would be a great match for us and our pups. When our trip came closer, Jayne proactively reached out to nail down details. She sent updates when she arrived to the house as well as daily photos. We were over 2,500 miles away in Portland and were able to enjoy our trip because we knew our pups were in Jayne’s care! We look forward to using her again!”

“Lucy is so sweet, great at communication, and she was wonderful with our 7 mo old pup!”

“Super pleased with how well Chelcie took care of my 14-year old dog. My dog requires different meds at different times of the day. Chelcie kept track of everything with no worries. She provided daily reports to me on how well all was going - much appreciated. Sweet. Thoughtful. And very Trustworthy. I'll be using Chelcie again for sure!”

“Jacklynn was so amazing with our boys for the weekend. Lots of walks and snuggles happened and we came home to some very happy boys! Also always appreciate coming home to a clean house. Will absolutely continue having her care for our guys anytime.”

“Kelli is wonderful! We have booked her for multiple overnight dog sitting stays with our girl Nellie. Nellie loves Kelli and we are so grateful for Kelli’s responsiveness and attention to detail. Thank you Kelli!”

About: Ever since I was born we have had a dog in the house, I have also been pet sitting for neighbors and friends since I was probably 10. Moving to Knoxville for school, I had to leave both of my puppies at home and miss them so much everyday! I did a lot of pet sitting my senior year of high school and found it a good way for me to make money. I had a job at a doggy daycare in town but unfortunately my schedule this year would not allow for the time! I am an active person but definitely enjoy it a lot more with a furry friend to walk with whether that’s at the park or just in a neighborhood! I am currently a 3rd year student at UTK studying nursing, and will be here for the next few years taking classes and hopefully eventually working at UT med, I would love to help out as my schedule allows! I have a lot of knowledge about dogs since i spend a lot of time around them and just enjoy making a dogs life better! I am a student with my classes currently 1 day a week, over the summer, in the fall I will have 3 days of classes per week. If my schedule allows I would LOVE to help out! Please always reach out with any questions! I can pretty much do anything with an explanation, once I get a feel for the home and the dog it will be easier but I constantly try to love and spoil them because I know that’s the best part of their day! Wanting to be a nurse I just love to care for others which is why I enjoy taking care of dogs and just giving them the best life possible. I have a truck as well so very reliable transportation however they’re safety is my top priority and making sure they don’t feel uncomfortable especially in their own home.

About: I grew up with dogs for the first 19 years of my life. I fed, bathed, walked, let out, groomed (not very pretty but functional), and gave medication to my family’s dogs. I then rescued my sweet kitty, who I have owned for three years. I am her only caretaker, so know everything necessary to care for a cat. I worked at a veterinary clinic for a summer so have truly seen it all when it comes to animal care. I worked as a dog walker for a summer as well, and assisted with grooming this dog as well as overall basic care. I have completed an undergraduate degree in animal studies and am continuing on to veterinary school, so I have tons of knowledge to put to good use! Overall, these qualifications make me an excellent caretaker for your loved ones! I am currently working a part time job, 10 hours a week, so I have more than enough time to hang out with your loved ones! I will begin vet school the third week of August. I will then be at school usually 8-12, and sometimes 8-5. I can return to your house during my lunch break around noon if needed. I care for the pets in a client’s home with a holistic approach. I ask specific questions to make sure I understand the animal’s needs and routine before or upon arriving. I want to fit into the animal’s life as an asset to their wellbeing, not as a stressor working against it. I read or listen carefully to instruction to make sure I am well equipped to go above and beyond in loving your pets. They will be my first priority during the time they are in my care, rest assured.

About: I love animals! I grew up on a farm with dogs, cats, horses, cows, chickens. You name it, we probably had it! I’ve fostered a senior dog and babysat my sister’s puppy, but I’m just not ready to commit to getting a pup of my own. I’m currently studying for a professional exam for my career. I have the opportunity to go over and let your pets out at any time :) I can easily crate your pet! I’m relative strong and can move your pet around when needed although I prefer for them to move themselves of course! It’s not a problem if you have a stubborn pet though!

Sarah was super communicative when she stayed with 3 of our babies. She did good with the daily supplements and great with our asthmatic cat! She provided pictures daily and kept us well informed on how things were going!

Left my silly dog with her for a weekend and came back and he was still silly. All in all, a great dog sitter. Would book again.

We had a great experience with Jasmin. She was very professional from the beginning with the meet and greet and responding to messages promptly. She sent daily updates and lots of photos. I would use her again and recommend to friends/family.

Mary-Claire was awesome. We had a last minute change of plans and she was able to help us by dog sitting in our time of need. Our dog can be a bit protective, but because she’s so kind and caring he warmed up to her quickly. I really appreciate her professionalism and communication. They had a great weekend and I will definitely book again.

Katherine did an awesome job with my 3 fur babies. I have one the late is very hesitant with new people and is also terrified of storms. Katherine dealt with her wonderfully and it didn’t take long for the pup to warm up to Katherine

Michael was very professional, took great care of my pups and of the house! Our little skittish Kristen warmed up to him relatively quickly. We hope Michael will be able to visit Warren and Kristen again sometime!

Heather took good care of our dog and house during a long weekend. Appreciate the communication before and during our visit.

Heather took such good care of our pup when we went away for an extended weekend! She sent us updates with photos that gave us peace of mind seeing that our pup was happy and content. Our house also looked great upon getting back! Will book again with Heather for our next trip!

We were very pleased with Emma’s petsitting over the past 10 days. She communicates well and was quick to reply. She even made a trip back to the house to check on my pup when I heard him making noise on Furbo but couldn’t see him. She left the house very clean including washing sheets ,towels and dishes . We’ll definitely reach out to her the next time we have pet sitting needs!!

Jessica has stayed with our sweet Gabby girl twice now... once, spur of the moment for a funeral and the second time for a 5 night planned trip my Husband and I had. She was truly incredible! She gave consistent updates and sent tons of great pictures and videos.
