“I left 4 out of 5 large dogs in Elizabeth’s care for the weekend (and one traveled with me). Each dog has their own personality and quirks, and she took the time to get to know each one and ask questions ahead of time, and specifically asked for written instructions and other info to be left in the home - the sign of an experienced dog sitter! She sent candid pics of them along with updates and I never worried that my pups weren’t happy and living their typical best lives. When I arrived back home, they were happy to see me but wasted no time running outside to play…they showed zero signs of anxiety and didn’t even seem to miss me all that much! Elizabeth clearly took great care of them and showed them all the affection they’re accustomed to getting! Great communication throughout the entire process, from the initial interview until I arrived home from my trip. Excellent all around, and I’m tough to impress!”

About: Living in the OBX, Willing to travel, see new places! I want to help care for your dog in your home because I believe pets are happiest in their home setting. I never boarded my dog, always traveled with him or had a family member stay. I'm excited to meet all your fur family and see some new places. If you live near trails, i particularly enjoy a hiking dog. I will travel for overnight care up to a few hours. I also visit NH regularly. Im working on something personal right now which allows me the flexibility to travel and dog sit. I prefer the beach, mountains, lakes, quiet over cities. I'm a kiteboarder and hiker, so i'm partial to areas I can explore with these activities. I always follow the household schedule and your pets preferences. During my time in your home, I will leave it generally cleaner than I found it. I'm comfortable traveling to dog parks, trails etc with a dog or two in my car.. I'm happy to keep your plants happy, enjoying a green thumb.

“Beth took great care of our German shepherd, Bella. Bella was so excited to see Beth again. We know she loves her! I always know I'm leaving her in great hands. Bella had back surgery in March, and had a bit of a setback the first day we were gone. Beth was quick to let us know and describe what was going on, and took great care of her. About: I’ve pet sit for dogs and cats for 3 years now! My friends, family and neighbors can always rely on me to care for their pets! I currently work 2 part time jobs. Wednesday- Friday I work in the mornings from 7am-2pm and Saturday- Tuesday I work 4pm- 11pm. So although I might be very busy I will always make time for your pets! I am able to feed them, bathe them, brush them, take them on walks, let them out for potty breaks and would love to play with them!

“I'm struggling with writing this review. I want to be fair while also giving an accurate review of how I felt this weekend when I was 5 hours away and worried. I really liked Anna when I met her, I think she is a good person, and my dog really likes her, so that is definitely positive. I've already talked to Anna about how communication could have been better when she was going to be significantly later than I expected starting out the weekend house/pet sitting due to her other job. I ended up calling another friend that night to come take care of Cassie because it was 11:30pm and I had no idea when Anna would arrive, even after texting her to ask and not getting a response. Anna was here house and pet sitting for the weekend, and it looked like she didn't spend much time with my dog. The doorbell camera gave me notifications when there was motion at the door, and it looked like she was gone most of the day only coming in for about 30 minutes in the afternoon and 30 min in the evening to let my dog out before coming back to stay at my house overnight. It might be my fault if I wasn't clear enough in my expectations, but my dog was left alone more this weekend than she ever has been, including weekends that she has been with other sitters.”
