“Nikki watched our fur baby Mazie over Thanksgiving week and we couldn’t be more happy with the care she received. We felt very comfortable leaving her with Nikki and knew she would be well taken care of. She sent pictures and was accommodating when we changed the pick up/drop off times. Nikki is very responsive. We will definitely be having her watch Mazie again and already have her booked. I highly recommend Nikki to others. Nikki, thank you for taking such great care of Mazie!”

“Runtz had a great time! The sitters are a family and they gave her alot of love and affection on our initial greet. She warmed up to their other pets as well. I'm so happy she got to socialize with other dogs because she doesn't get out much lol. They sent pics as soon as I left and she was enjoying. I will definitely use them again.”

“Oksana provided great care for our two dogs. She was very attentive, communicated well and provided photos throughout the dogs' stay. Our dogs are older dogs and needed extra care and we felt very comfortable having our dogs stay at their home. I highly recommend Oksana.”

“Great communication, so friendly! Took wonderful care of our dog for two weeks and he got along so well with her dog as well! Sent us plenty of updates while he stayed with her as well! Definitely will have Carol watch Louie again next vacation!”

“I have nothing but good things to say. She eased my mind about leaving my little family with her. She updated me with pictures and treated him like her family. When I picked him up he was nothing but calm, relaxed, and happy. Thank you so much!”

“It was the first time we used Rover and Bria with his charisma made us feel confident and calm to leave in her hands our naughty dogs. She took out of her time a day before to meet our dogs, Her dog Toot is very sweet and loving and our Honey had a lot of fun with his new friend. Bria is very kind, caring and a true dog lover, she periodically sent us photos to kept us updated on our children. She was very concerned that they returned home very clean and fragrant. I know that Bria gave them a lot of love and attention and of course we would leave them in their hands next time. She is a perfect match, we love her. Thank you so much, Bria. HONEY and MJ LOVE YOUUU.”

“Alyson is absolutely amazing! She truly loves & cares for your babies like they are her own! Isla clearly had the best time! It is so refreshing & such a relief to know your fur baby is in the best of hands when thousands of miles away! We would 1000% recommend her to everyone & anyone we know! We will be using her again!”

“Thank you Diane for taking such great care of my dog. Charlie is a skittish miniature poodle mix that does not connect with everyone. Diane made her feel at home and sent pictures. I would definitely recommend Diane and we will be using her again.”

“Hilary and Justin were great. The drop off and delivery were very smooth. Tennie seemed relaxed and comfortable with them and their family. They are excellent communicators. I look forward to using them much more in the future.”

“Tori and her family were fantastic! Very welcoming to us and Daisy and I felt confident leaving my girl with her. Tori gave great updates and looked like such a blast. I came home to a happy, worn out pup who had a weekend away- which is the absolute best feeling- knowing she wasn’t just taken care of, but that she also really enjoyed her stay!”

About: Caring for animals has always come naturally to me. From a young age, I was the one looking after our family pets, and that love only grew over time. In 2020, I welcomed my own dog, Hoss. He quickly became my best friend and a true part of my family. Because of that bond, I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pets in someone else’s care, and I treat every dog and cat I watch with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own. Hoss now has a younger brother, Dooley, an English Springer Spaniel with a sweet and easygoing personality. Together, they help create a calm, welcoming environment for visiting pets. They love to play when another dog is interested, but they are also very respectful of dogs who prefer space, rest, or a quieter visit. My husband and I own a house in West Ashley with a doggy door that leads to a big fenced in backyard that allows the dogs to romp around. Both the greenway and a park nearby are within walking distance for our walks around the neighborhood. One of the things that sets me apart is the range of care I can provide. I have hands-on experience with puppies, including the patience and consistency needed during teething, house-training, and early routines. I also have experience caring for senior dogs, including administering medication, monitoring comfort levels, and making sure they feel safe, supported, and relaxed. Whether your pet is energetic and playful or older and in need of extra attention, I tailor my care to meet their individual needs. My husband and I also foster for local rescues, including Journey Home Alliance and Lowcountry Lab Rescue. Through fostering, we have worked with dogs who have separation anxiety and need extra reassurance, structure, and patience to come out of their shell. Helping those dogs feel secure and comfortable in a temporary home has been one of the most meaningful parts of my experience, and it has strengthened my ability to care for pets with different personalities, backgrounds, and emotional needs. Our home is a friendly and flexible space for pets of different temperaments. Both Hoss and Dooley are dog-friendly and know how to read another dog’s energy—if a guest wants to play, they are happy to join in, and if a guest prefers to relax, they are equally content to give them space. They are also cat friendly, so we are comfortable caring for households with feline family members as well. Our goal is always to make pets feel safe, loved, and at home while their owners are away! I'm currently working from home, so I have more flexibility during the day for drop ins, walks, and boarding. I also have availability on the weekends. Between me and my husband, someone is generally almost always home. We have a fenced in yard with two animal friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company. They are used to having animals come and go in our house through fostering rescue animals. Animals are treated like family in our home and are allowed on furniture. I can also easily crate your dog if needed while I am away from the house.
“Rocky had a wonderful time with Sasha and Kyzua. Sasha was very communicative and sent lots of cute pictures. It was very comforting to know he was being well loved and taken care of while we were gone. Rocky is looking forward to his next stay.”

“Caitlin very kindly booked a last minute boarding for my Golden Retriever. Her communication was thorough, and even though she kept him for a bit over 24 hours, I still received multiple updates. So grateful!”

“I have been searching for a good boarding facility for so long! While away with my sister, she mentioned Rover to me. I had never heard of it and I told her that I would check it out. I cannot tell you how happy I am that I found Rover, specifically, Nancy H. I honestly felt as though I was leaving my pet with a family member! My dog Cheech is a little medically challenged as he is diabetic and uses insulin twice a day. It is so important to his health that the person caring for him takes the time to make sure that he eats at the right time and then gives the necessary amount of insulin after each meal. My dog gets fussy when I leave town! He goes on a hunger strike! And this time was no different! But after each and every meal, I received a text from Nancy letting me know what he had eaten and to verify the dosage that he should get based on his food consumption. She was awesome!!! I could almost see her standing on her head to get my pup to eat! She tried everything at every meal. He was a tough nut to crack for her! But she never gave up and I never sensed an ounce of frustration from her! She was amazing! Cheech was the first diabetic dog that she had cared for. I went to her home and gave her lessons on filling the needles and giving the shot. She took it all in and asked as many questions as she needed to! My boy had been put with someone who loved him as I love him and I couldn't ask for any more than that! I will be using Nancy H. again and again! I can now make plans to go see my sisters and I know that my dog is in the best possible hands! Thank you!”

“Jamie & Alec were great - they sent pictures & a note every day. Jordan did very well with them. We plan to use Jamie & Alec to take care of Jordan for another trip.”

“Lisa was really amazing, made sure to communicate throughout the visit, spoiled our dog to no end to the point she was worried she wasn’t going to eat so she would put extra food on top to get her to eat and even went out and got extra treats for her. Would highly recommend and would definitely use her again”
