About: I am disabled so this is my primary source of income and your fur babies will have my full attention! Ive taken care of many cats and dogs since I was 9 years old and since ive grown up ive petsit for friends and family. I dont have any professional experience yet but id love to get some! I will treat your baby like I would treat my own :) Im home all the time helping watch my younger sisters, so Im available almost always! I love taking care of animals but dont have any of my own so there are no other animals in the house. I have a fenced in yard that they could run around in with supervision, because I couldnt handle losing someone elses pet :( I can take them outside as often as I need and I can take them on walks Every 3-4 hours.

“Reed did a great job taking care of our older German Shepherds and house sitting for us. He took the dogs on walks and played fetch with them. I loved the pics he sent. Will definitely use him again!”

“Addie was exceptional in every way. She asked questions, followed my instructions and constantly kept me updated on Bella. I would highly recommend her and will definitely use her again!”

“Very satisfied came twice a day for seven days. Cared for three dogs, fed my Discus fish and Koi in pond. She also did a water change on my aquarium. Everything was perfect on return. I could not have been more pleased. First time ever my house did not smell closed up an everything was clean an nice. I felt like my pets had been well taken care of in my absence. I was texted with details an updates. Very efficent service.”

“Dubai was amazing! She came to meet our pups and get a feel for the place a few days before, and asked all the right questions. I felt very comfortable leaving our 3 pups and 8 ducks in her hands. She communicated regularly and sent pictures, which I loved. She was very easy to work with, loved our animals, and left our home in amazing shape. We can’t wait to use Dubai again!”

“Stacy took exceptional care of my dog and cat for 4 days while I was on vacation. She went above and beyond by taking my dog on extra walks, hikes, and spent a lot of time with her. I’m very happy with her care and would recommend Stacy to anyone that wants a very happy puppy to come home to!”

“If I could leave a ten star review I would!! Troy was amazing and attentive to my elderly guys. Troy was timely and gave me several updates with pictures of my guys living their best life!!! Troy also washed the food bowls which to me was above and beyond. I never had to check in to see how my guys were doing because Troy updated me on such a timely and consistent manner. I will 1000% book Troy again to house and dog sit!!! Amazing care giver!!!”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs and cats for years, and one of my favorite things is getting to know each pet’s unique personality! From energetic puppies who want to play all day to older pets who just want a cozy spot and some company, I’m happy to adapt to whatever makes them most comfortable. I’ve cared for pets of all ages, sizes, and temperaments, and have built great relationships with owners who trust me to care for their furry family members. Many of my clients have booked with me repeatedly, and I take that trust seriously! Since I work remotely, I’m able to spend plenty of time with the pets I’m watching. I love being able to keep them company throughout the day, stick to their usual routines, and make sure they get the attention they deserve. I primarily offer house sitting and drop-in visits because I believe pets are happiest when they can stay in their own familiar environment. Whether your pet needs lots of activity, a little extra patience, or someone to curl up next to while I work, I’m happy to be their temporary best friend! And of course, you can expect plenty of pictures and updates while you’re away! I work remotely full-time, which makes pet sitting a great fit for my everyday routine! As long as I have Wi-Fi and a place to set up my laptop, I can work from just about anywhere, including your home. This means I can spend much of the day keeping your pets company rather than leaving them alone for long stretches. I’m available for overnight house sitting, drop-in visits, and care throughout the week, including weekends. I can easily work potty breaks, feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and plenty of attention into my workday. I also have flexibility for last-minute requests and pets who need a little extra attention throughout the day. Whether your pet needs a full-time couch companion or just someone to stop by and check in, I’m happy to work around their routine! I believe pets are most comfortable in their own homes, surrounded by familiar sights, smells, and routines. That’s why I focus on house sitting and drop-in visits, allowing your pets to stay in the environment where they feel safest. I take the time to learn each pet’s personality, routine, and any special instructions before their stay. I’ll follow your feeding schedules, walking preferences, household rules, and any safety precautions you have in place. I’m also very mindful of respecting your home. I’ll keep things clean, make sure doors and gates are secure, and leave everything as I found it. Communication is a big priority for me! I’ll send regular pictures and updates so you know how your pets are doing. I’ve had many repeat clients over the years, and I know how important it is to have someone you genuinely trust caring for your pets and your home. My goal is for you to come home to happy, relaxed pets and everything just as you left it!

About: I’ve been taking care of family and friends pets for over three years now on our lovely farm. All dogs stay in the house with me, but enjoy running across the huge yard for play time! I work remote from home two days a week and as needed for dog sitting. I have enough advance notice I can work from home the entire week. This allows me to pet sit for family and friends! I live on a 98 acre ranch. All the pets that visit love playing outside and snuggling at night. Some prefer to sleep in their crate.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Okmulgee walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Okmulgee maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Okmulgee choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
