“Ashley was an awesome pet sitter for my two dogs. She gave us daily updates with messages, photos, and videos. The dogs had a truly wonderful time with her. It was a huge comfort to know they were being cared for so well while we were traveling.”

“Alex is a fantastic sitter. She sent me lots of photos of Hank during my trip, and when circumstances held me up for an extra day, she was willing to extend the booking. I can feel confident leaving Hank with her, knowing that he will be in good hands, and I highly recommend Alex to any pet parent.”

“Our little lady had a great time with Maria. Maria sent us regular updates with pictures of Winnie having fun. It was great to know that Winnie was well taken care of, especially because she had gotten a few stitches right before we left which made us a more anxious leaving her. However, she made a number of new friends and came home a happy puppy.”

“Coralee is an awesome sitter. Coralee & her family made my baby so comfortable. She is so patient, caring & loving. She communicated on a daily basis with lots of pics & videos. Will definitely book again!”

“Tamakia was very great with communication from the start. She gave my dog the attention he needed and sent updates and pics throughout his stay. He received plenty of outside time and was able to make himself at home during his stay.”

“We left our Bernese mountain dog with Adisyn while we were out of town and were very happy with her service. We received pictures and updates every day and could tell our dog was very well cared for. I would recommend her!”

“Regina is a great dog sitter. This was my first time leaving Bamboo with anyone besides my dad. I was a little anxious about it but Regina put me at ease with all her photos & update text. She has many dogs & cats of her own & wasn't sure how that would work out. It turned out to be a plus, her dogs are really friendly. Regina treated my dog as one of her own & I really appreciated that! If you get a chance to leave your dog with Regina do it, you won't be disappointed & your dog will be happy & well cared for.”

“Luna had a great time!! She tends to be very anxious but warmed up quickly. Stephanie and Philip were great at communicating with us and we were relieved to know she was with people who treated her like family!”

“Kristina is your girl!!! We had an unexpected emergence and had to fly out of state. Kristina responded to our request for a sitter and helped me through the process (I’d never used Rover). She was available for last minute drop off and made me feel comfortable about where our dog was while we were dealing with an extremely stressful situation. She sent pictures of our pup and encouraged us to check in whenever. Squishy came home smelling like she just had a bath and had fully washed blankets. Kristina went above and beyond and we can’t thank her enough for her kindness. 5 stars doesn’t do her justice! If we need help again we know who we’ll be contacting. We highly recommend her services! Thanks Kristina!”

“Nancy was absolutely amazing with my dog! She sent lots of pictures which I greatly appreciated. I could tell he was having a great time and was well loved and cared for. Nancy and Butch are lovely people and I highly recommend their services!!”

“Courtney is wonderful with my dogs. I can always go away and feel comfortable leaving them with. I appreciate every thing she does for them and I know they will be safe and well taken care of.”

“Natasha was so good to our dog. He was walked daily and loved playing with her kids and her dog. I think he might of had as much fun as we did on our trip! I was nervous about using Rover for first time, but we wouleld definitely use Natasha again. She really took such good care of him and sent so many cute updates, it was fun to see the adventure he was having while we were away.”

“We felt confident leaving Willow with Jessica that she would be well taken care of and loved. Jessica kept us up to date with pictures and Willow looked the princess she believes she is. She definitely made herself at home. We will definitely use Jessica again when we go away. Robin Harvey”

“My two cavapoos had the best time and Samantha was very responsive with updates to ease my anxiety about leaving them for so long! I would highly recommended trusting her with your fur babies!”

“Willa had a wonderful time staying with Megan, her family, and their dog. She always takes a little while to settle in and Megan and her family were patient and kind, letting her approach at her own pace. By the end of her stay, she was romping around, playing, and totally comfortable. Megan communicated clearly and sent us photos to help us miss Willa a little less. We’re very glad to have found Megan’s family to sit for Willa!!”

“Michelle and Sami were great when they watched my girl, Kira. They treated her like family and sent pictures/updates during her stay. Would highly recommend!”

About: I am an animal lover and I have always had pets. The past few years I have been saving lives and fostering with One By One Reacue! I am currently on a foster break since I have 4 dogs of my own but help run the rescue in other ways. I am lucky enough to work from home and be with my pets all day. They stay in the general area I am when I work. Since I have 4 dogs of my own, I would like to provide boarding at my house. I am in a town house and I have movable metal fencing for my dogs. I never leave them outside alone. When I do have to run to the store or have plans for the day (usually no more than 8 hours) I have a furbo that I check in on them throughout the day. I also gate off my stairs so no one can use them (or fall down, I had a blind dog and watch one) when I am not there.
“Winston had a great time at Chang’s home! She was very communicative throughout his stay, sending regular updates and photos. Winston was ready for rest after a long weekend of play at Chang’s. Thank you for taking such good care of our pup!”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of November 2026, there are 783 sitters on Rover offering Dog Boarding across Oklahoma. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
94% of sitters in Oklahoma can provide daily exercise during dog boarding stays. Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, this may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Oklahoma home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Oklahoma.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Oklahoma sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
