About: I have taken care of dogs and cats my whole life indoors and outdoors as I grew up on what used to be an Amish farm in Pennsylvania. I have experience dog and cat sitting for several breeds. I write full time for the local newspaper, but my schedule of flexible. I love exploring the area and spending time outside. Getting to meet adorable pets while doing that really brightens my day. About: I have been a pet parent to cats and dogs. Love to see all of their personalities. I have had rottweilers and pitbulls. I appreciate the love they have. I work full time but like to stay busy. I have a varied schedule and can help take care of your babies and show them love and affection when you cannot. I have a fenced yard for my pitbulls. They are both strong so we use chest harnesses when walking. They are fed 10 feet apart with zero food aggression.

Our dog, Willow, has major separation anxiety and she immediately took to Paula and was comfortable with her. Paula is a natural with animals and obviously cares for their happiness and well-being. “I wish I could give her higher than 5 stars. At our first meeting to see if her and my Archer would get along and be friends she was wonderful. She asked questions from me to get an understanding of his care but more importantly she was letting Archer interact with her. I was a bit nervous because he’s still a baby and teething and I was worried about his biting. She was very professional about it. The other main reason why I wanted Kayla to look after him is she is a Vet Tech and I knew if there was any kind of an emergency she would be calm and know exactly what to do. She gave us wonderful picture updates of him playing and snuggling with her and I was so happy he was being a good boy. Kayla is absolutely amazing and I can say with 100% confidence that I will be using her again. I cannot thank Kayla enough for taking such wonderful care of Archer and giving me peace of mind while I was on my trip.”

About: I’m a retired 55‑year‑old who has spent most of my life caring for dogs from wiggly puppies to sweet seniors needing extra support. Before my wife and I began traveling for five years of full‑time in our motorhome with our two small dogs, Sangria and Tequila, our family had Rufus, our golden retriever. He was truly one of the best dogs I’ve ever known. I cared for him from the day we brought him home as a puppy until his passing in 2014, and that experience shaped the way I approach senior care, gentle handling, and understanding a dog’s emotional needs. During our travels across the U.S., we met incredible people and pets, and I learned how to adapt to all kinds of routines, temperaments, and environments. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and now that we’ve settled in Ocean Isle, I’m excited to offer drop‑in pet sitting for families who want someone reliable, patient, and genuinely loving to care for their pets. I treat every dog with the same respect and affection I given our pups and I’m committed to making your pets feel safe, seen, and cared for while you’re away. Now that we’ve settled in Ocean Isle Beach, my schedule is steady and flexible. I’m available most days for drop‑in visits and can work around your pet’s usual feeding and play times. Consistency is important for pets, and I’m able to provide that. Since I provide drop‑in visits only, I care for pets in their own home just like I care for my own. I follow your routine exactly as you outline it, keep your home secure, and make sure your pet feels safe and comfortable. I’m careful with doors, gates, and feeding schedules, and I always leave things tidy and locked up before I go.

About: Dogs only want to give and receive love. They are, perhaps, Gods greatest creation. I've worked at a Veterinarian office/Doggy Day Care nearly 5 years, caring for all ages and sizes. I volunteer at the Sheriffs Animal Control Shelter in Supply. I believe dogs enrich the lives of the people around them. I've always been able to bond with dogs. A mutual trust has always come easy. They're all beautiful, and people could learn a lot from them. They make me laugh every day. Dogs will always be safe and happy with me watching over them. About: I am semi-retired with lifelong experience caring for dogs. I provide attentive, loving care, including walks, feeding, companionship and medication when needed. I am extremely reliable. I work part-time (two days a week - two 4 hour shifts). Therefore, I am readily available throughout the week for various pet sitting needs. I plan to take care of the pets in their homes and will make sure that the pets feel very comfortable and loved during my stay.
