I’m currently part-time as a photographer, so I have time to care for your pets. I can pet sit the weekends and during the weekdays. About: Going up as a kid I have helped care for multiple animals including dogs that were being pet sitted in our home. I have also cared for my own animals, cats and horses, over the last 23 years. In this time I have worked at a horse boarding facility and have done horse sitting for neighbors while they were on vacation. Currently I have 2 dogs which I watch and walk on a regular basis for friends and this has prompted me to want to do this for others as well. I do have experience caring for wounds and giving oral/topical medication. I have also done insulin shots in the past but it has been a while. I currently work full-time Monday thru Thursday and would have available time Thursday evening thru Sunday evening to perform walks or other pet siting needs. I routinely inspect the home space yours or mine for hazards and cleanliness. I currently have a small fenced area where your dog can easily have free time. I also enjoy visiting dog parks and walking well maintained trails. If pet sitting for a cat litter boxes will be cleaned 2x daily or as requested by client.
About: Hey there! My name is Katie and I love dogs! Since I was 10 years old, I've helped my friends and family take care of their beloved pets! I've taken care of puppies, elderly dogs (14+), and even fish before! I've had a lot experience taking care of elderly dogs. Most recently, I boarded a 14 year old chihuahua. Prior to this, I watched a 15 year old miniature schnauzer. Recently, I've had experience training and taking care of puppies, including my own puppy who is now a year and a half! I currently work from home Monday through Thursday so I'm able to take your pet outside as needed. My hours do fluctuate, but my husband I are off Friday through Sunday. My husband and I tag team to ensure our dog and any animal in our care gets all the snuggles and love it deserves! Me and my husband live in a house with a decent sized fenced in backyard that we love to hang outside with our doggos! I love to make sure I take my dogs and any of the dogs that I'm watching for at least one daily mile walk! Sometimes two or three one mile walks a day, depending on the dogs energy. If your dog sheds, I try to brush their hair daily and wash their paws.
