I do require a "Meet and Greet" prior to hosting your pet/s.

I recently raised a litter of puppies, which deepened my understanding of early puppy development and the importance of critical socialization. That experience sparked a stronger interest in training and caring for dogs during their most impressionable stages and beyond. About: I have had animals in my home for my entire life. And I do truly enjoy spending time with all animals, They keep me active. I'm currently not working which leaves me lots of time to walk, play & nap with my dog and other dogs during the day time. I have a nice grassy with cement area fenced in yard with ample shade & a friendly dog to play with & to keep other dogs company.

About: Ever since I was little, I have had pets to take care of! My husband and I currently two labradoodles that are both 2 years old! My schedule is very flexible and so I can dedicate time to being there for your pups throughout the day whether it’s walking, playing fetch or belly rubs! I have a fenced in yard and two loveable and playful labradoodles to keep your dog company! We have two large crates if needed that our dogs don’t use anymore if needed during their stay.

“Henry's stay with Vickie was the first time we used Dog Vacay. I was a bit nervous and apprehensive leaving my boy for the day with a stranger. From the minute Vickie came out to greet us I knew Henry was going to be well taken care!!! She has a very calm and easy going personality that I really liked. She had Henry come in and she brought her dogs in one at a time to meet Henry to see how they would do together. Then we went outside to show him the back yard and to meet another dog that was staying there. I felt great with no concerns about leaving Henry in Vickie's care. Henry had a great time there and slept like a baby when we got home. Thanks for taking good care of our Henry Vickie.”

About: I grew up and still live on a farm. I have kept dogs, cats, chickens, turkeys, rabbits, etc. throughout my life. I will care for your animals as if they were my own. I work from home and know how frustrating it can be to worry about your pets while on vacation. I will send photos and videos of your fur family while you're away so you can stay in touch while you're away. My preference is to care for your fur family in a comfortable environment, their normal home. I am happy to host your fur family in my home, but I already have 2 small dogs, so I think they would be more comfortable if I came to them.

About: I’ve owned several different kinds of dogs from big to small. I have 9+ years of experience pet sitting for neighbors and relatives. I am studying Animal Science at Michigan State University because animals are my passion and this would be a great way to exercise my love for them and earn some extra money! I am willing to go above and beyond for your pet(s). I currently work an extremely flexible part time job at a golf course so I am extremely open with days and times needed for pet sitting. Pets are family, therefore they should be treated that way! I have taken college courses in animal behavior, therefore I am extremely familiar with reading an animal’s body language and interpreting that.

About: I consider pets to be part of our family. Any dog/cat that stays with me will receive the same attention and care as my own fur babies. Your dog/cat will be temporarily adopted into our family, where they will receive lots of love, pets, belly rubs, toys, and playtime. I proivide stress-free care for your furry family member(s) so that you can enjoy your vacation or focus at work. I am happy to care for animals who have special needs having done so often during my tenure of caring for pets. For example, I have had a client with a diabetic dog who needed insulin shots; one of my cats has asthma causing me to become quite skilled at administering medicine to unimpressed cats. If your dog needs socialization or training, I can help with the basics. All training is based on positive reinforcement with treats and verbal cues. For an additional fee, I would be happy to work with your dog while they stay with me or when I walk/visit them if they need basic obedience training. For socialization, I have a 1-year-old dog who is overly friendly and would be happy to help your dog learn that other dogs can be friends. I recently graduated with my Ph.D. and am searching for a career. In the meantime, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to care for your pet. For boarding or day sitting, dogs will be walked 1-2 times daily and offered an array of toys and chews for their entertainment. Dogs that love to play fetch will have the opportunity for "playtime," where they can chase a ball outside in a fenced-in yard. I use a long leash for places without a fence that gives the dog a leash-free experience. Dogs are allowed on the furniture and on my or my husband's lap for extra snuggles. If I need to leave my home and your dog is there, I prefer to crate your dog to ensure their safety and the safety of the other animals in the home. I provide ample blankets and beds to keep your dog warm and comfy. I ensure adult dogs are not crated for more than 6 hours, and puppies are not crated for more than 2 hours (unless they are very young and need constant supervision).

My husband and I have 11 acres & the dogs love going on walks through the trails and seeing the farm animals along the way. In my home, I ensure that all their needs are met, including medication administration, playtime, and baths upon request. I offer a variety of toys and treats to keep them engaged and happy. About: I've had a dog for the past 5 years ( shiloh ) she's a German Shepard! She is wonderfully and well trained also is fixed. she does love to greet people so she might jump. I've also dog sat for many years as well and I worked for a dog company back in 2017 where I took care of daily task as well as medical needs when necessary, and worked along side pregnant and and birthing mothers. I have had a couple cats growing up, none to call my own though. So I am also acquainted with the care of cats and kittens as well as shiloh was raised around all types of animals and children of various ages so we are comfortable saying there should be no issues with her. However we can make other accommodation for her if you don't feel comfortable with another animal in the home. One final note I have 2 children a 1 year old and a 3 year old. I know how to give medication, shots aswell as cut nails and bathe but I do not feel comfortable trimming or giving the dogs a hair cut. I don't have a fence, i do have a little yard but I have harnesses and leads to walk and take the dogs out side to play. I do have a crate available if needed my dog is trained as well as crate trained. Shiloh ( my dog ) love the company of other fur babies to run around as play with. My two children are also in love with animals but I do have a vary large second living room and attached mud room that I can limit off for dog access if it would make having a dog stay here more comfortable due them not being used to children!
