“Myra is calm, patient and extremely kind. Peanut (a min pin mix) is a rescue dog who takes time to warm to new people. Myra was welcoming and generous with her time during our meet and greet. She has a lovely home. She was so patient with Peanut and her love for animals and willingness to adapt to their personality and needs was obvious. Myra sent pics throughout the day and Peanut had a wonderful time. I have already booked Myra to watch Peanut for a longer stay. Thank you Myra! Peanut can't wait to come back and play!”

“Margaret took care of our 2 dogs, she was great, our one has some anxiety but Margaret made her feel right at home. Her 2 pups were a great play date for ours. Will be my go to when we visit Rehobath!”

About: I have had many decades of well-loved Labradors, a couple exceptional Mastiffs, and a loveable yet crazy Brittany. In our home we have two full time cats that moved in after our neighbor passed away. Our family lives have always included pets and a multitude of farm critters that we care, love and enjoy. I am comfortable and have experience with large dog personalities as well as the medical and physical needs of seniors. And I can follow directions! I work full time as faculty at a local college, however my schedule has flexibility throughout the week as well as through the day. Typically I am available most days and locally can travel easily for pet care. Dogs can be boarded here as long as they are cat and dog friendly. There are 2 cats and I also watch our son's Brittany Spaniel during the week. For dogs that do stay here, they are allowed on the furniture as well as on our bed and there are multiple dog beds for their choice. Our backyard is fenced away from the road behind a privacy fence. For those dogs that like to swim there is a concrete salt water pool available during the season. Whatever directives the pet family prefers will be followed with updates regularly.

“I cannot say enough great things about Michele! She has given me my life back! I have two little rescues that are highly reactive and do not like anyone, so consequently I have been unable to leave them. After talking with Michele and getting a sense of her experience and patience with rescue.dogs such as mine I decided to give her a try...and it went beautifully! My dogs had a great time with her and loved her...and cannot wait to go back again! Michele is truly not just very much a professional but is gifted with animals as well.”

“We were in the area to attend an event and left our puppy with Shatera. He had a wonderful time and was well cared for. If we are in need of doggie day care while in the area again, we will definitely call on Shatera again!”

“Julie and her family are great with our toy poodle. Biscotti gets lots of attention, hugs and playtime at her house. A great experience for all.”

Just a stay at home mom looking for a little extra something to do which leaves plenty of time to check in for walks, feeding, and playtime whenever needed. Happy to provide drop in visits to make sure pets are fed, watered, given potty breaks (and litter boxes if needed), and of course lots of love when you're away!

About: I've grew up with cats in the household, always longing for a dog, and enjoying/petsitting my neighbors animals. When I was 24, I rescued a 2 year old Husky/Shepard mix from Brandywine SPCA named Star. Star was considered a "crisis-case", suffered from Lyme disease, but something in her eyes felt hopeful. Through love and healthy lifestyle, Star gave me the best 10 years I could have asked for. Since losing Star in the fall of 2024, I have been taking on more pet setting, ranging from boarding at my own home, overnight stays, and everything in between. My partner and I share a home with 2 of the sweetest boys, a docile english lab and a certified Therapy golden doodle. Also a 3 year old Cat and some chickens roam the yard. All friendly, happy, and healthy. I am very flexible in my schedule for most services needed and can board dogs at my residence and stay overnight. I teach yoga four times a week but that mostly a few hours each morning. I have great areas for walking, will happily take dogs for outdoor fun beaches/parks. If they are friendly with others, we have space for play at the home. If solo time is need, I'm happy to accommodate by coming to you! I'll always defer to the preference of the owner to ensure pets are happy and safe while Mom(s) and/or Dad(s) are away.

“Very reliable, always friendly, and my dog is always tired by the end of the day!”

I have my own business and work from home. My schedule is completely flexible to your needs! I know some things are last minute and I’m the person who you can count on to especially help in last minute situations 🙂 I have 3 acres and fenced in yard that’s divided to cater to every pets needs. About: I'm a military brat and I've had a lot of fur babies of my own growing up including dogs, cats, and hamsters. I've seen a lot of them to their senior years and been there for their crossing over rainbow Bridge. I think that our fur babies are part of our family and they should be loved for their whole lives. I've taken care of many dogs and cats while pet parents were on vacations and deployment in the military including feeding, walking, spending time with their pets at their homes, bringing their pets to my home, teaching some basic commands, bathing pets on special requests. I love all animals and treat them with compassion, care, kindness, and respect. I currently work from home and create my own schedule. I have plenty of time to play with your puppies and take them on walks. If you have fur babies that need extra loving, I've got time for all the belly rubs and chin scratches. I have a dog run in my yard and a 50 leash for some extra run time during our walks. I have 1 friendly dog and 2 friendly cats who can keep your fur baby company. If needed, the cats can be put their sisters room (who they adore) or I can put your fur baby in a crate if that makes them feel safer. My dog can be put in my room, but she spends most of her time on the couch in front of the window where your fur baby will be spending their time when getting cuddles if they are staying the night.
