About: I am a dog owner for the last 7 years (female rescue, 50lbs, lab/retriever.) Before her, I had cats my whole life. My pup is a part of my family and I would treat yours with the same care and compassion. I work from home, live in a duplex and I have a backyard that is mostly fenced (your dog would stay on a leash back there), and I live right next to Dreher Park where we could go for walks 1-2 times/day. Let's do a meet and greet! I work full time from home, and have lots of flexibility for walks and pets. In the evening, we take walks in Dreher Park right next door. Life is quiet around here. No smoking. I'll be here with them all day and can take them to the backyard or for walks in the park. I have a 50lb rescue that has been described by boarders as an alpha female, so she may get barky at first but it ends there.

With a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science ( Pre-Vet) and certification as an animal technician, I bring professional-level knowledge to everyday pet care. I’m especially experienced with large and high-energy breeds and offer a calm, controlled environment for dogs that may not thrive in traditional daycare settings. Pet care is my full-time focus, allowing me to provide 24/7 availability. Dogs receive consistent supervision, structured routines, and dependable care throughout the day and overnight. After drop off 8am-12 breakfast and outside time. 12pm-3pm inside relax time because it’s the hottest time of the day.3-8pm outside play dinner and bath times for any pick ups. 8pm turn down time. I host a secure yard with multiple areas for safe separation. Indoor space for naps, or hot/bad weather times. Crate time available only if requested or required but not mandatory. Outdoor spaces have natural landscaped and/or turf areas, shaded spaces, and double-gated in some areas. I provide play time with myself or supervised interaction in largest area with my well-socialized large dog and/or other compatible dogs once identified.

“Yamille was a life-saver for us! We had planned to take our Havapoo fur baby with us on our trip, but at the last minute found out we could not take her. When I reached out to Yamille, she responded immediately. We exchanged messages back and forth and had a "meet and greet" via Facetime the next day. Yamille was so sweet to our little Salter and was very accommodating to our requests throughout the week that she cared for Salter. She took her harness off occasionally to brush her and also sent pics/videos. I believe Salter had a GREAT time with Yamille, her son, her pup and other pup friends. We flew home to NC later that day and Salter slept the entire journey - a sign that she had lots of playtime, snuggles and belly rubs from Yamille.
